A bit of lag . Trying to read the text half a second after reading it in your head was very tricky for me . However i see value in a CW decoder as a reference.
@@robduncan599 Honestly, It's a nice little radio. Especially at the price point. A great option for new licensees who would like to get into HF & 6m, with the 10w output on an external power source it's perfect. I've used it quite a bit, more so than my FT-817.
@@OntheMicwithMike Thanks for your thoughts. I might pick one up . My old ft-817 died a few years ago been thinking of replacing it ,however this is a contender? Hope you have good luck with it .

Quite possibly the feature was aimed more at the novice as maybe a learning tool. Great all the same, doesn’t do a bad job by the looks of it.

Have you tried the G90 Mike? If so whats your thoughts on it?
