When it comes to the piglins in the overworld, Jeb has stated that eating netherwart allows piglins to survive in the overworld without zombifying, like in minecraft legends. And the skeletons' bow and arrows i feel like took the most logical train of thought with how the flame enchantment would work. The arrow probably just gets set on fire once it touches the bow.

@ no problem!! a lot of the details and weird stuff going on in this movie have answers in either really random or really obscure places, so i totally understand all the criticism. if anything, i hope they do explain the netherwart thing in the movie so people don't have to go to some random twitter post to find out important info about the movie lol
