I had a kundalini awakening about 5 years ago, needless to say it shook my life and turned it upside down in the best of ways, one person who helped me immensely was matt kahn in those early years, I hung on his every word and watched every video he was a huge part of my spiritual growth and helped me feel less alone, as you wake up you also find your sovereignty and the ability to discern, I no longer follow every word of any spiritual teacher I listen to the bits I agree with and discard the bits that don't vibrationally match because I have realised that so far I have never seen/met a person who knows everything, and even if I did I wouldn't just blindly follow them because the growth you experience when you wake up is awakening the third eye, the inner knowing and inner guidance!
My inner guidance has less in common with matt these days, the division going on at the moment is not something I'm prepared to buy into. Gay marriage abortion, etc etc, the elites like division and people that just stick the TV on and feel the need to chime in on these issues are just adding more fuel to the fire (in my own unique oppinion) we need to just get on and live our lives ignoring these rules created by the 1% and also not treat anyone as lesser, we have more in common with each other than with the 1% that own these talking points we all seem to feel the need to chine in on. Let's get on with our lives and ignore the bully on the box in the corner of the room, infact maybe throw that TV away all together. It's a shame matt kahn had to get involved in hating trump and being quite obviously "left wing" whatever the hell that even means these days. Time to move on from all this and be sovereign. I hope one day he teaches about this. Although who knows if TH-cam would let him do his videos on here if he had any views that opposed the elites, they do such a good job censoring and dividing.
You just said everything that was on my mind after watching this video. I went through a spiritual awakening 2 years ago at 53, several traumatic events happened in a year, I was on my knees asking God to help me, there has to be more then this to life. Everyone I loved and counted on, all passed away, one after another, I was alone. I too found Matt and also hung on every word, I resonated with all of his teachings. There were also 2 other teachers I learned alot from. As you stated, as you evolve on your journey you form your own compass and inter knowing and intuition. I formed my own relationship with the universe. I have found I don't really need those teachers as I once did. I believe Matt is a beautiful soul as we all are. I felt an unsettling feeling after watching this video. Still proccesing why that is. I find it troubling when spiritual teachers go political. That just ruins it for me. I know he said it's not political it's about human rights. Why does it have to be us versus them? Can't we just respect everyone as a soul on their journey? Can't we just walk a mile in someone else's shoes. I hate all the fighting. I am old school when life with no cell phone, internet, all face to face interactions. Life seemed so much more peaceful. Media instills fear and division and judgement. It makes me so very sad. I have a 6 month old granddaughter who is so pure and innocent. I do worry about how she will navigate this world. Not the same America I grew up in. I agree with you. Limit your news, social media and just be, live your life.
@@kellyscarpetta9062 totally agree, with you I feel as if We are being herded about by the media intondifferent camps, divide and rule, it's particularly disappointing when spiritual teachers do this too, these seperations only exist in out mind and as you get older you Notice how this is either exasperated or completely created by the media and its shaping our culture in unimaginable ways that perhaps isn't as obvious to the younger generation but as you. Wake Up you almost move to an eagles perch position and just see and let your intuition guide you as to what is true and what is being created as a truth for you. But the positive in this I suppose is if this has happened to you and I this will be happening to people all over and I believe we are witnessing the last remnants of a system that no longer has its grip on us. I will use my skills to project an awake world of autonomous beings!

Obviously you are a wise old soul, as I know I am too. Beautifully said. It is nice to connect with like minds. I had an abusive childhood left the family home at 17, made my way on my own, some how. I always had the sense as a child that this is happening for a reason, never once said why me. Always sensed there is universal plan for all that was taking place. I have always felt connected to the universe. The universe always looks after me, sends me people that I need at the time. And takes those away when they no longer serve my highest good. Universe is good at closing doors on you, and opening the new ones. I didn't ask for a spiritual awakening, but I got one! My life has been changed forever and I am grateful and I understand the bigger picture now, suffering and grief abuse Is all a gift. I would not change my life in anyway if I had to do it over again. Universe has flood me with information in the last 2 years I can't keep up. Sychronities are crazy, met my power animal, black jaguar came to me in a vision right before I feel asleep. Saw her clear as day, she had big green eyes. I am extremely interested in shamanic culture and journey every week. I could go on and on with everything that has happened to me since my awakening. Thank you for your insight, I find you fascinating and would love to hear your story and your journey. Maybe we can talk sometime off this website. I have no Facebook, Twitter, Instagram..none of that. Not doing that! My 25 old year daughter dumped all that a year ago. Good for her, don't be a salve to social media...lol

What about asking even deeper questions, and finding out that "the other side" is not acting out of hate as everyone supposes? I've had beautiful conversations with pro-lifers and I've learned a lot. And from my understanding, many oppose gay marriage not out of hate or hemophilia, but because they are afraid all family structures are being destroyed and want to preserve it out of love for their children, their country, and humanity. I don't agree with them but I absolutely understand all kinds of things now that I used to think I really knew but did not. Everything goes much, much deeper than it appears. Much, much, much deeper. I think compassion is much easier when you really dive in and listen with an open mind, fearlessly, allowing yourself to be vulnerable to changing your mind yourself. That's been my experience and it's been very difficult but extremely rewarding. The idea that one side is all haters is a lie perpetuated to KEEP us divided and give the media, etc. lots of our attention and money.

Beautifully said. I have my opinions on things. Our life experiences create our beliefs. But as you said, go deeper, have a conversation. I have many and always stay neutral, I am so fanisacted by people's life stories, I always love to listen to others that may have a different view point on life then I do. I respect that. There is always a story. You Just have to listen. And 99% of the time I find conversations end in a hug, even though there are differences of opinions. Look at people at a soul level, I think we all come down to earth with out lessons to learn. And diffent life path numbers. Makes the world go around, no right or wrong. Oh Matt, sadly, I choose not to listen to this ....for me, (who over the years you taught me SO much), I feel its very title is divisive. I try so hard not to perpetuate my belief in us and them. We are One in love - is all we need to know❤️
I think he explained this very well, he talks about important topics, human rights, yes we are all one, but we are all operating from different levels of consciousness.
Opposing energies are at play, it's not condemning either or but recognising them at play and what imbalances they mirror within.
Too much violence happens due to ignorance.
I would have to disagree with "we are all one" is all we need to know, that statement does not heal the world it just fuels ignorance.
I wouldn't of commented because ofcourse we all have an opinion but you put "all we need to know", when you should of put "all I need to know".
I personally am delighted to find a spiritual teacher that talks about these topics because since my awakening I've gravitated more and more towards human rights and social issues.

@@marion3057 Marion, I apologise. You are correct - Knowing we are One is all ‘I’need to Know. Yes, human rights and animal rights sadly need to be ‘fought’ for (Mahatma Gandhi ‘fought’ successfully against the British using non violent means). I guess that I feel there are certain topics like CRT and gender issues which are being over highlighted so much at the moment on the media, in such a way to intentionally create division where none or very little had existed before - therefore unfortunately, creating division. So, I realise that I was triggered by this title on Matt’s video appearing to promote this trend. I have followed Matt from his earliest videos with Julie and owe him huge gratitude for his teachings. I saw him in London and after that somehow he didn’t resonate with me quite as much - so I’ve only very recently come back to him - but maybe, sadly, that resonance no longer exists. Throughout spiritual awakening, I guess it is quite common to choose different teachers - but always holding the deepest gratitude and respect for our previous ones ❤️

I guess there's a fine line, I understand what you're saying, I have thought that myself.
I can see the imbalance of the feminine and masculine at play, I think they oppose (CRT, gender expressions) the current structure and values instead of balancing or birthing a new, ( Ido add that I can clearly see there has been racial oppression and rigid gender stereotypes) I think what we are seeing is alot of shadow coming to the surface (especially with gen z) where the feminine has been dominated it's revengeful, it gives me Kali or Lilith energy, where it's rooted in pain.
I think the main issue is lack of understanding that each party has of its opposition.
Politics seems to be the beliefs and values of the current energies therefore it's a battle of the beliefs and perceptions, that's why I find it difficult, especially if we are all expressions of the Divine and everything has its purpose.
I personally don't associate with any political party anymore (I'm not from the US, but the UK), I listen to all sides to understand, I think from a spiritual perspective all the anger and hatred we see has been bubbling under the surface for so long due to oppression not that I'm condoning it but I'm not condemning it either.

The procedure of abortion though is the opposite of love... In a culture that does not really value human life abortion is a staple of freedom and sovereignty.
There is nothing loving, heart centered or Christ consciousness about killing life in the womb of creation. (Not a religious viewpoint)

Just to play devil’s advocate… what about the rights of the baby?
I think it's difficult when there's different factors at play, karmic/ancestral cycles, women who's value has been based on their sexual desirability, being objectified and unconsciously objectifying themselves, not great communication when it comes to sex, sexual assault is horrifyingly normalised and a fetus takes it's time to grow into a baby, you being here, I'm assuming you understand that we are spiritual beings having a physical experience (I know many don't understand this), you can't kill the soul but you can learn your lesson. I've given this thought and listened to many debates and arguments.
I understand pro lifers and pro choice groups.
However I don't think abortion should be illegal instead implement boundaries, men should also have access to contraceptives. I've heard arguments in the US that right up to birth you can have an abortion, I do think there should definitely be a time line, it's really tricky!

@@marion3057 hey there! Thanks for your response. I agree that it’s tricky. As far as the Supreme Court ruling, all they did was leave it up to the states to decide if abortions would be legal or not. But the overturning of roe v. Wade did not ban abortions when the mother is at risk during the pregnancy, so there’s also that. I trust that this was a step in the right direction and not a step backwards. God’s plan is playing out without error.
I think the most helpful change would be for all people to begin to wake up to who they are and the power we all are innately. If we had better sex education to help the collective become aware of and respect the creative power we all have, there would be less abortion overall.
As far as the woman deciding on whether or not to abort… well I’ll put it this way, the baby has a nervous system and fingerprints before a month old… most women don’t even find out they’re pregnant until then. Which means to me that this is a human with its own rights to life. If the soul of the baby isn’t meant to be born out of the womb, I think this is when miscarriage happens. Otherwise, as long as the baby is growing and the mother is healthy… it seems like the baby wants to be alive and chooses to be here.
I don't think Matt is advocating for abortion as a contraceptive method for irresponsible people who have many other contraceptive solutions available. The situations he points out like rape, incest, or severe malformations are perfectly justified. But it's a complex topic because at some point as a pregnant woman you're no longer just choosing over your body. Also abortion can be a traumatic experience for the mother. Adults should be responsible and consequent with their actions.
@@pepincuatro2865 I'm really surprised when I hear people who are consciously on their spiritual path integrating their shadow to say "adults should be responsible and take consequent of their actions" when you know it's not as simple as that, karmic cycles, ancestral cycles are a very real thing, a child is not a consequence nor should be brought into this world that way, there's enough traumatized children and people in the world due to unconscious parents.

Besides rape and incest, there's abusive relationships, peer pressure, dysfunctional patterns the list goes on.
Its obviously not a great experience but it's only as traumatic as it is because there's so much guilt and shame that the idea "your killing a baby".
You will get irresponsible people with everything, it's no excuse to make something that clearly will still be used illegal, it's control and dangerous.
A soul (very wise) will not enter a baby if it will not come to term. There is no one present yet. The soul enters when it knows it will live, and then, not completely. It is still largely in pure consciousness without a body. If the baby was a soul it certainly would never choose to disrupt a woman’s life who does not want a child. Only people with very limited rigid perspectives would ever do that. It is inhumane.

I think it's so refreshing for a spiritual teacher to dive into the "nitty gritty" and bring a higher perspective to where most spiritual people run from.
