I hope you know your complete hair type Heres mine: Curl pattern - I, S, O, L Texture - TIGHT Density - DENSE Thickness THICK Sebum - MEDIUM-HIGH Porosity - BALANCED to LOW Due to my density its impossible to wash out the paste version of these powders from my hair. Shikakai worked well in cleaning my hair but, it dried it out so I had to follow it up with a deep conditioning.
GreenBeauty I need to figure this out. I'm think my hair is low porosity but that is based on the first few times I did the float test almost two years ago. I tried it again recently and it sunk to the bottom.
GreenBeauty. I’m still trying to fully get this more detailed typing system but I think I’m: Curl pattern - S, O Texture - half way between loose and tight Density - lowish medium Thickness - fine Sebum - low to non-existent? Porosity - high
GreenBeauty I only know two of those things thickness and porosity, and I'm not even completely sure about porosity. Did you do videos on the other four characteristics?
mattiechi Here’s a link to a video that was posted a while back on each hair type characteristic. It’s important to know your hair b/c no one can care for it the way you can. So, I think it will be helpful to post a new video on it.
I've been following your advice. I had my hair in twists for 6 months ( washed, detangled, touched up of course ) and I got 4 inches length retention!!! I've been natural my whole life but my hair has never been this long and healthy. I only trust your channel because it's backed up by science. Thank you.
curlslegit baby but when your hair growth has stagnated for months a half inch a month is a blessing. Still doesn’t hurt to try. I just paid $3 for mine.
This series is giving me more and more hair!!! Thanks. I've noticed regrowth since I've been using rhassoul clay in my now 70%-80% auyerveda hair care regime. If i stop using gel, I won't feel the need to wash my hair with shampoo. I'm making my own auyerveda oil. I make my aloe Vera leave in conditioner. I'm trying to avoid most commercial products when it's possible. Because I'm a recovering product junkie 😁😁
Allison the more the merrier. I enjoy making great products for my own hair. What is more my hair is loving it and it tells me so every day by being long, strong and soft to the touch. I consider it part of me time. My version of treating myself. Next on the agenda the ultimate day skin cream for the body with a strong base and a face cream.
I add Shikaikai and Aritha to Bentonite Clay to cleanse my hair weekly. It does not dry my hair and it removes all of the build-up. This is followed up by an Amla/Brahmi/oil mix into my deep conditioner. I can't begin to tell you how thick, curly and gorgeous my hair has become.
Every since I saw this video, I've been using g shikakai in my hair. I will NEVER go back to store bought shampoo! It feels so good and has made my hair grow so beautifully! Thank you so much for this helpful & needed information!
I have used amla, shakakia and henna in a paste but stopped because it was so hard to rinse out. But I loved the results, my hair was fully, stronger and shedding was cut tremendously. Once I stopped I have seen my hair and scalp problems come back. Glad to know the tea works just as well. I will be using it.
Same here, I have 4c hair and it was a nightmare to rinse out. I use alma, shikaika and henna mixed in with essential oils in a container and use daily as well as weekly (as part of my deep conditioner) and I've noticed my hair is getting thicker and less shedding 👍🏾
Every time i watch your videos, it confirms that I'm doing something right in regards to Ayurveda herbs. I use Aritha and Shikakai together with a few drops of essential oils.
I add Shikaikai and Aritha powder to my homemade african black soap shampoo. I also add amla and brahmi powder to my conditioner mix. Love these herbs.
Donna Dampier Sorry for the late response but yes I add the powders to my shampoo. I add about 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon depending on which powders I'm using for that particular batch. For example, if I add 1/2 tsp. of Shikaikai, I'll add 1/4 tsp. of aritha powder. I do the same with my amla and brahmi for my conditioner mix. However, if I add MSM powder to any of my mixtures, I make sure to use a little bit more of the amla powder because the high concentration of vitamin c in the amla will allow for your hair to more readily take up the benefits of the MSM. I hope this makes sense. If you have any other questions feel free to ask 😌
Thank you for answering so quickly. Your measurements make perfect sense. So you only use the MSN when you add the amla and brahmi in your conditioner how much of the MSN should I use? Sorry for all the questions. Hope to hear from you soon have a blessed day.
So I know this might be a lot to ask but I would love to see a month break down of what you do to your hair (a wash day/ Hair care routine but a month breakdown since you might use different wash methods each week?)... keep up the good work I love watching your videos I’ve learnt a lot 👍🏾👍🏾!!
We soak 2 parts Amla, 2 parts Shikakai, 1 part Aritha in water whole night. Then next morning bring that mixture to boil. Once it cools down, stain it and use it as a shampoo. 😊
I use shikakai as part of a multi-herb leave in spritz on moisturize day. I use a tbs of henna and a tsp of amla, shikakai, bhrami and aloe powders. Basically, the Curly Proverbz tea spritz mix. I found shikakai a bit drying when I tried it alone but that was the full paste. I’ll try it as a straight rinse and see how my hair responds. I HOPE you continue with this Ayurvedic series, beyond your original list of herbs. I’m hoping you will consider doing a video on Ziziphus Spina Christi. Thanks!!
Yessss, those powders get annoying over time when they start to build up! My hair even became matted! 😫😫😫 My hibiscus tea undid the matting thankfully 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🌺🌺 I use the hot water method and let the herbs sit overnight, strain and apply to my hair.

I switch it up not all at once all the time. My hair is smooth after I rinse it out. Never had a drying out effect but I do deep condition most of the time. I will make it more liquidy from now on as it’s a pain to rinse out. And I shall try to mix it with black soap too that’s interesting idea. Thank you for the video and thank you ladies for the tips 👍🏾
Good morning (wel it's morning where I live ) I read your regimen I was wondering I know I use acv to close my cuticles because I have high porosity hair. My daugter is low low low porosity and I can't use acv because then the oils and extracts can't penetrate her hair shaft. I use it in my conditioner or deep conditioner or rinse after to close all the moister and goodness in. I was wondering why you use acv on low porosity hair. ? What does it do for you? And do the herbs and oils still penetrate your shafts ? Sorry for the long reply I'm trying to find the perfect hair regime for me and my daugter. Kind regards rose
My hair is 4b in the back/regular porosity-4c on the sides regular to low porosity-small bits of-3c at the crown-low porosity, and the center back/lower porosity. I love shikaki...my hair loves it and leaves it soft, and brings out the texture. I can see where I will use this more often as my hair gets longer, as it lends to me doing next to nothing for styling after getting out of the shower. I also like soapnuts and bhringaj. I mix them together with shikakai and make a tea. I will sometimes add or follow up with a tea of marshmallow, slippery elm, nettle, and or horsetail. And my standby after wash and rinse is castor oil or some kind of castor oil mix.
As with any herbal powder, always remember to do a patch test first to make sure you’re not allergic. I’ve used lots of different herbs and decided to also try shikaikai (from a quality source) a while back. Although my hair looked fabulous, I experienced severe itching and respiratory irritation. So sad to say this herb is not for me.
I used this today and can say it cleaned my hair and scalp! Followed up with deep conditioning and locked in moisture with the lco method. I am high in porosity and I am just growing my hair again.your channel has really helped me a lot in understanding my hair and I want to focus on my health and I have created a regimen. I have the s and o pattern, sparse, thin, high in porosity and still studying my sebum production. Thank you for you scientific information regarding our hair. I plan on purchasing the protein treatment soon.
I’m so happy to see this video! I’m just beginning to slowly add Ayurveda to my hair regimen. Shikakai was one of the herbs included in the set I recently purchased and I wasn’t sure how to use it. Definitely going to try the tea. Thank you!!
Please continue this series with more then the 3 herbs that you said. This is all so informative especially since you broke down the Doshas in a way that we could understand with our type of hair. Now I do wonder if there are certain herbs/mixtures that are good for certain doshas.
Kenisha White excellent comment! Id love more videos that breakdown these herbd like only she would. I mixed all my herbs together but i agree it would be helpful to know which work well together and which if any diminish their benefits. Respect.
You can make aloe Vera powder too. th-cam.com/video/tzOXiWyLFTg/w-d-xo.html If you want to use the gel you can. You can just save the green part of the leaf when you cut out the gel whenever you use it and dry it out naturally.
This series is FIRE :D ! I'm enjoying the meat and heart of this series, Thank you for educating us about our hair. It's so good to hear and see the science behind how our hair grows, and reacts when using certain products along with great remedies is awesome. Thank you. Blessings :D
I've been suffering from scalp dermatitis for years, and apart from eating 90% natural, I wash my hair with a paste formed by: 3,5 parts Shikakai, 3,5 parts Aritha, 1 part Neem, 1,5 parts of Amla, 1 part of Tulsi (basil leaf powder). I have a huge jar of these mixed powders and make a paste to wash my hair. After my shower, I air dry my hair and then brush it upside down above the bathtub, because it leaves little dry specs of powder on my hair that are hard to rinse. I put coconut oil on my ends and I'm good to go. I would prefer tea form, but as a paste it exfoliates my scalp. Sometimes I mix Amla with yogurt for deep conditioning... I have straight hair, so it's easier for me to rinse all out... Thank you for your videos, I love how informative, well researched they are and the effort you put on everyone of them to scientifically explain everything. So happy you are making these videos. 😘😘😘😘😘
In India we use shikakai along with ritha nuts aka acacia concinna . It gives lather also. Cleansing oil from hair becomes a bit easier as we Indians love to apply oil to hair before wash
I was just going to watch this video without the intentions of doing any recipes. After all of the benefits of Shikakai I decided to add the tea version to the Clay Recipe that you gave us and to my African Black Soap D. I.Y Shampoo and see which I like better. I already add Amal to my D.I.Y deep conditioner so I didn’t want to use too many Ayurvedic herbs, but I cannot resist this video. I am determined to grow out the hair in my crown area without using commercial products. So far it’s going well. I’m so glad I decided to watch. Thank you sooooo much for the video!!!!!!!
I have tried herbal washes (aritha, shikakai), clay washes (rhassoul, bentonite), sulfate-mild, sulfate-free, CO-washing. Tried it all. In all cases, my scalp reacted badly. I have SD, seborrheic dermatitis. I have found out after years of struggling, that I simply need the harshest cleansers on the market (Pantene, Herbal Essences) to get the gunk off. This keeps me from having to use my medicated shampoo (Nizoral 2%) too often. It is what it is. I'm 45, and I have given up experimenting. After all a clean scalp is a happy scalp, and I would give *anything* to have the flakes an itchiness and redness gone. Sulfates work for me. YMMV. It is different for everyone. And yes I have tried ACV. You name it, I've tried it. :) I love your informational videos! :)
Marleen G. Most of the issues we experience on our scalp and skin, in general, are signs of what’s going on inside. From what you say, it sounds like the sulfate shampoo are only pacifying the real issue. Rather than looking for external solutions, look within. Get some blood work done to check you’re vitamin levels and hormones. Also, try experimenting with different healthy diet chooses. The benefits topical products and natural ingredients provide are limited by our internal health.
My bloodwork is fine, I have it done yearly. My diet is fine too; no fast food and home cooked meals with plenty of vegetables. And for the record, I have nothing against sulfates, or silicones. So actually I don't mind having to use them. It helps me deal with the issue quite well, keeps the oil at bay and the flakes and itch away. If that is *all* I have to do to use my medicated shampoo less (like once in ever so many years), then I'll take it. YMMV, of course. But that's just my take on it. Thanks for responding! Oh, and I weekly wash, so every wash, weekly, for me is a clarifying wash. I "combat" the dryness by double conditioning. Should someone else be in my shoes, it might help you out. I use the LOC/LCO method for styling afterwards, and it locks in the moisture quite well.
GMOgottago, I have tried Chagrin Valley soap bars - didn't work. Even with a vinegar rinse after. I just got an itchy scalp, and later flakes. I am sticking to my sulfates, but thanks for helping. Like I mentioned, I tried it all. I'm 45, you would think that I'd have had the time, right? I have had this since I was a baby (cradle cap). Back then my mom used sweet almond oil & water to gently remove the flakes. That no longer works (oils feed the fungal overgrowth that is typical on SD).
Hi I’m Jackie I have been looking at your discussion online and I like what you saying about natural hair I have been natural for 8 years and I never took care of my hair used many different chemical on my hair but for my birthday I decided to take care of my hair and you inspired me so much about my hair I also saw a difference in my hair thank you and many blessings .
Just made my tea rinse and will use it after my amla, conditioner and Jamaican black castor oil deep treatment. Thanks for another informative video series.
Awesome! Well i buy whole reetha and shikakai soak them overnight and then boil them in a cooker then mish mash it and strain. Powder gets sticky sometimes leaving behind remnants. Tea is a good option though!
You were obviously sent by GOD to help us because I can’t see how I made it this far without you except for with GOD. Thank you kindly for all your help and hard work please never leave us. WE NEED YOU!!!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀💕💕💕💕
My hair type is low porosity, coarse, high dense, and type 4 curl pattern. I have never used shikakai but one of my fave leave-in conditioners (As I Am) has amla extract in it and provides my hair with slip and moisture :)
Loooool.... I live in Kenya and never knew that this tree is what is referred to as "shikakai"... Its a very popular tree around here... I'm actually pleasantly surprised
When I use shakiki I use it with Reetha (neem & hibiscus powder is good to add). Mix in warmer water or a tea made from green tea & tulsi & whip it until it’s frothy & bubbly. You can see the bubbles. Then I let it sit for a while & then drain it into a bottle. I sometimes add oils & Castile soap made from almond oil for a clarifying wash.
Thanks so much for sharing. I suppose it seems easier to walk into a store and purchase products, but the way you’ve outlined the details of this natural product makes it seem doable. Great video.
I love your channel, it is soooo informative! I'm going to recommend this to my fiance. He has straight red hair, but he constantly get dandruff, and is very self conscious about it. Head and shoulders does nothing for him, so I'll get him to try this.
S curl , in between loose and tight, normal density, low porosity, normal thickness but thinner than it was, sebum on the normal to low Thanks for another perfect video. I’ve discovered Ayurveda years ago. Always more to learn.
Hello I am.loving your channel and today I'm going on an ayuvedic powder hunt in my small country... I hope to strengthen my hair with tea and oil infusions but I'm white and have bleached hair I'm worried the amla (I won't use henna or nupur mixes) will the amla stain my hair. ? I'm almost platinum blond therefore I'm doing your gelatin protiene treatment every 4 weeks and deep condition weekly. Thanks for all the time and effort.
There is no letter "i" after the first "a" in the word as you are pronouncing it "shi-kai-kai." It is pronounced more like "cock-eye" but with the short "a" sound instead of the "o." "shi-cock-eye" "shi-ka-kai" My intent is just to be helpful, not disrespectful. Personally, I like to know if I mispronounce words, and though most people feel the same way, there are those that take offense, so do with it as you will. You have a very nice speaking voice, and the video is very informative and very well done! I appreciate the care and time that it takes to make a quality video that stays on topic and not filled with an abundance of promotional rhetoric, I truly do!
I use rye flour which also contains saponins. I heard Russian women used to use the crumbs from rye bread to wash their hair. Well I’ll tell you the rye flour is wonderful as a shampoo so if you can’t find this herb this is much easier to find
Hey! I love your channel I’ve been watching for years! Can you please do a video on the science of hair vitamins? I don’t think they are worth the hype anymore due to fillers. It seems I excrete out more than I intake! Do you use any hair vitamins?
I really love your videos, and think you're brilliant, however I have a question that's not related to this video. Can you make a video about the best way to trim natural hair,or is there a best way?? Thanks
I’m sorry I do appreciate you informative knowledge on shakky, my given nickname. I was over excited trying to pick up the golden nuggets you was dropping. I think this product just might be the fix to help me retain hair growth because my hair sheds A Lot. Thanks!
I’m so happy i found your channel. I am so sensitive to most products on the market. Learning from your channel and Curlyproverbz about how to use clay to clean my hair. I have one question. How can you preserve the clay mix?
I have type 3/4 hair. My hair is tightly coiled. I use a Shikakai and rhassoul clay mix to clay wash my hair. I sometimes mix rhassoul clay and hibiscus powder together. My hair loves all of it. My hair is squeaky clean and bouncy. I almost get that white girl hair flip.
I use soap nuts/reetha with shikakai, I rinse the whole pods in water for 1-2 days and later just squeeze them, you will see lot of lather in the water. Strain it and wash your hair.
I think I'm going to try shakikai again. I tried before but it itch like I had fleas and ticks in my hair. Someone told me I might have not rinsed it out proper.😬
Jeekai W the saponin content in Shikakai can be irritating to some people. If it irritates you again, try mixing it with other herbs and/or try diluting it.
what a fabulous video. You've put in a lot of work the info is good and interesting :-) In terms of smell or scent, how strong is the shikakai tea/paste? pleasant or unpleasant smell? What about the amla?
Hii!!i am in love with ur videos as they as so logical.will love to see more such stuff from you..Can you please make a video on how does Sapindus Mukorossi (soap tree) works on our hair??hoping to hear from you soon!!
I use shikakai in my natural diy shampoo: i use the saponificationmethod to create soap and i add shikakai and sidr:) best softening detangling shampoo ever :)
Hi, my hair type is: Curl pattern SO Texture tight Thick Sebum low Porosity med/high I usealy mix henna with, brahmi, neem, amla and some other powder and ad some vegetable oils like, olie, almond, castor, coco, avocado .... and some green tea and ACV to darken the paste. I use it as a shampoo/deep conditioner/protein treatment twice a month. My hair is naturally high porosity, it really like thick mixtures and after it my hair totally absorbe the paste and it feels dry after a few hours but after washing my hair is SOOO soft! I really like your channel, there is so much to lurn. It's the base for knowing your hair better!
Oh boy i just washes with shikakai but it was a paste not enough for my lengths . Even when made woth rosewater, my hair felt dry and i used it as a mask for 20minuted with the aluminium cap. Which i wont be using cause it dripped into my eye. Owww. So next time ill use the tea method . But should we mix with some hydrating ingredients cause the length we can use conditioner /mask afterwards but it feels dry even at the scalp area....
What do you think about Aritha? (soap nuts) I trust your knowledge the most but I’ve naught it before finding your channel and I don’t see you mentioning it thanks for everything queen
Please do other videos in other aryuvedic herbs u didn’t spell out as those u would discuss. I would really be appreciated .Tnx The video on shikaikai was great

You need to add soapnut powder in equal proportion of the shikakai powder. Soapnut powder will foam and ensure the shikakai is washed out

If you don't mind me asking, what are the best places to source quality herbs??
I used this today and can say it cleaned my hair and scalp! Followed up with deep conditioning and locked in moisture with the lco method. I am high in porosity and I am just growing my hair again.your channel has really helped me a lot in understanding my hair and I want to focus on my health and I have created a regimen. I have the s and o pattern, sparse, thin, high in porosity and still studying my sebum production. Thank you for you scientific information regarding our hair. I plan on purchasing the protein treatment soon.
Thank you. You are an EXCELLENT FACILITATOR! Keep up the great work! Blessings to you.
I use Shikakai to clean my hair. I love the definition that cleanser give me. I was SHOCKED how well the clay cleans my hair but now i know why.
Respect.
Those trees grow aplenty in my country. Maybe I can find out how to make the powder myself.
Another great video. Enjoying this series.👍👍💯
Keisha Alexander you dry the herb or flower or whatever then grind it.
You could juice it while it still has water in it, and use that too, and still dry out the pulp. You can blend it then strain it too
Chalsey Wilder tyvm. Because after seeing this video I went searching TH-cam for a video. I wasn't successful. So thanks a million. 😉👍
Keisha Alexander oh okay lol. But please make sure the part of whatever plant you're using isn't dangerous for you to use
You can make aloe Vera powder too. th-cam.com/video/tzOXiWyLFTg/w-d-xo.html
If you want to use the gel you can. You can just save the green part of the leaf when you cut out the gel whenever you use it and dry it out naturally.
I’m interested in soapwort and yucca because these both contain saponin.
Very Informative, I am grateful for your channel Queen! Peace & Unlimited Abundance
Let me go ahead and thumbs up BEFORE I watch this. 😂
Marmelder you and me both 👍🏾
Marmelder We ALREADY know right?
I always thumbs up first.
I'm really enjoying this series.
I used shikakai tea to mix my bentonite clay..... AWESOME!! It was like cleansing and conditioning at the same time.
What about shampoo bars? I use the Cocoveda one from Henna Sooq and no more gunk and flakes.
Marleen G. Have you tried African black soap?
I really enjoy your video!!!! Can u do one on chebe powder?
Hi I’m Jackie
I have been looking at your discussion online and I like what you saying about natural hair I have been natural for 8 years and I never took care of my hair used many different chemical on my hair but for my birthday I decided to take care of my hair and you inspired me so much about my hair I also saw a difference in my hair thank you and many blessings .
This would probably be great to clean your scalp when you wear protective styles like braids.
Who caught that Wendy reference 😂
hmmmm, anti yeast? I struggle with seborrheic dermatitis, I might give this a try. Thanks for the info!
shikaikai is the only shampoo that heals my scalp of chronic itchiness and tangles. saved my hair’s life!
I use a teaspoon of this to my homemade shampoo! Kicks itchy scalp and dandruff to the curb!
My hair type is low porosity, coarse, high dense, and type 4 curl pattern. I have never used shikakai but one of my fave leave-in conditioners (As I Am) has amla extract in it and provides my hair with slip and moisture :)
I'm so addicted to your voice!!!!..Love it..Thanks for the video :)
Such an exciting series! Keep up the great work! 💛
Very informative series. I'm going to start incorporating herbs and see how beauty (my hair) likes it.
Video content based on research and education. Thank you. I know that I can trust the authenticity of your content at all times. Very reassuring.
You are so informative! Many blessings to you!
Thanks so much for sharing. I suppose it seems easier to walk into a store and purchase products, but the way you’ve outlined the details of this natural product makes it seem doable. Great video.
I mix it with bentonite clay and distilled water. And store in the fridge for my weekly shampooing .. thank you
I love your channel, it is soooo informative! I'm going to recommend this to my fiance. He has straight red hair, but he constantly get dandruff, and is very self conscious about it. Head and shoulders does nothing for him, so I'll get him to try this.
Derma rolling to regrow edges! Please, please, please do a video on whether Derma rolling can truly help thinning edges! Love your videos!
Gurl you are amazing! Thanks for being so informative!!
S curl , in between loose and tight, normal density, low porosity, normal thickness but thinner than it was, sebum on the normal to low Thanks for another perfect video. I’ve discovered Ayurveda years ago. Always more to learn.
Still loving this ❤️🫶🏾
First of all i love your thorough videos.......do you think i could mix shakaikai with african black soap as a shampoo?
Hello I am.loving your channel and today I'm going on an ayuvedic powder hunt in my small country... I hope to strengthen my hair with tea and oil infusions but I'm white and have bleached hair I'm worried the amla (I won't use henna or nupur mixes) will the amla stain my hair. ? I'm almost platinum blond therefore I'm doing your gelatin protiene treatment every 4 weeks and deep condition weekly.
Thanks for all the time and effort.
I couldn't watch this video without thinking of Ace Ventura 2. Shikakaaa! I've never heard of Shikakai before this. I might look into it more.
Love the concept of your channel! I am just curious: do you have an academic background in natural sciences like chemistry etc?
Your video’s are very well done! Thank you for what you do.
Thanks
That video is coming up soon !
Nice video, i make my own ayurvedic shampoo to wash my hairs. Amla+shikakai+ reetha(natural foam type fruit)= perfect shampoo
Yes like someone else said I would love one on chebe powder
I’m sorry I do appreciate you informative knowledge on shakky, my given nickname. I was over excited trying to pick up the golden nuggets you was dropping. I think this product just might be the fix to help me retain hair growth because my hair sheds A Lot.
Thanks!
Love you channel. Where can one buy Shikakai powder? Can you tell us what to look for to make sure we’re buying the real deal. Thanks in advance
I’m so happy i found your channel. I am so sensitive to most products on the market. Learning from your channel and Curlyproverbz about how to use clay to clean my hair. I have one question. How can you preserve the clay mix?
Seer Channah I put mine in the freezer until I need to use it again. I make enough for 2-3 uses.
Jeekai W mix with reetha it's smells weird but that helps me
GreenBeauty thank you
Wazakauye Zulu thank you
Thank you for your new video! I will be trying this one next week! :D
Would the tea recipe be same for other herbs like i wanted to to purslane or alma ?
what a fabulous video.
Very good and informative video.i use clove powder paste for my hair kindly do a video on that and a chebe powder as well.thank you
Hi, my hair type is:
Curl pattern SO
Texture tight
Thick
Sebum low
Porosity med/high
I usealy mix henna with, brahmi, neem, amla and some other powder and ad some vegetable oils like, olie, almond, castor, coco, avocado .... and some green tea and ACV to darken the paste.
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL SO MUCH
I loove your videos. I really need to revisit ayurvedic hair care
Can you do a video about oils? The differences, moisturizing vs sealing, what’s oils are better for low or high porosity hair.
Can u please continue the ayurvedic serie? It is awesome!! Like cassia, henna, bhringharaj, hibiscus... :)
Very good information, thank you for posting.
Subscribed! Come through Science!!! Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge...I'm off to binge watch now...BYE!
What do you think about Aritha? (soap nuts) I trust your knowledge the most but I’ve naught it before finding your channel and I don’t see you mentioning it thanks for everything queen
Great vid. Can clay and or shikakai be used weekly?
Try alternating between the two. So one week Clay and the next week Shikakai
Can I use Shikakai every time i shampoo, twice a month? Or do you recommend less since it is very potent?
Its safe to use as a replacement to shampoos. If you notice that its irritating you over time, dilute it.
You are super CREATIVE!! Love 💕 ya girl.
for foam add hibiscus flowers to shika
Knowledge is power. When I was little I used to see these trees back home. I looked at them like worthless trees. 😒🤦♀️.
Great video 🙆🏿♀️🙆🏿♀️ Can you do Aritha next please ?
Please do other videos in other aryuvedic herbs u didn’t spell out as those u would discuss. I would really be appreciated .Tnx The video on shikaikai was great
