    Excellent advice. I reduced my acute bulging C5-C6 disc with these exercises almost immediately and returned to heavy landscaping in my backyard the next day. Personal advice: lose the pillow and sleep on your back; a pillow should only be used for side sleeping after your acute symptoms have been eliminated.

    Hello Dr Walter, unfortunately, I cannot come see you because I am in the US, but I really enjoy your video very informative. So in 2016 I had a diagnosis of an Asymmetric disc bulge with uncovertebral hypertropy. Mild canal narrowing partly effacing the ventral thecal sac without mass effect on the cord. No significant foraminal stenosis. Mild degenrative changes with mild canal narrowing at the C3-C4 and C4-C5. No acute abnormality. The reasons why I went in for an MRI is because I was having tingling/burning sensation in my pinky/ring fingers. so after taking GABA and methercalbon, the issue went away. Over time 2, 3 year thing keep getting worse on and off. So it started as mild mid back between the shoulder blade and for about a year and progress to major back muscle spasm, rib pain, tingling//numbness sensation from hands, neck to face, eye itchiness that come with the face tingling chest pain, trouble breathing to excessive yawning. I am not sure what made this thing worse, but I got hit from the back driving and had a whiplash in 2017, nothing major, my car did not even had a scratch. I have therapy, trigger point injection, all kind of drugs, nothing works. Now I am at seeing a chiropractor and a neurologist. The chiro told me I am missing the curve in my neck as it is now straight and he will rehabilitate it back, which should fix all my symptoms. I have two questions, could trouble breathing and tingling sensation in the face/neck, excessive yawning to catch breath because of shortness of breath be symptoms of pinch nerves from the narrowing? would those exercises work for the narrowing at the C3-C4 and C4-C5?

    • @DrWalterSalubro
      @DrWalterSalubro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mac. I’m glad you are seeing a chiropractor for this. Face tingling /numbness may be related to problems in the neck. I can not comment about the yawning or shortness of breath. Best to talk about these concerns with your chiropractor and neurologist.

Now I have signed up for a Chiropractic Biophysics treatment plan that spans three months to a year. It appears from my research to be way more comprehensive than regular adjustments. I have C5 C6 disc bulge with mild forminal stenosis in that area creating cervical radiculopathy. Just started the program. Shall see where I'm at in three months.🤞

    Hi Dr. I've been suffering with a c5-c6 bulging disc for more than 10 years on and off with numbness in my arm and fingertips. I work as a mail carrier and preform repetitive movements daily.
    I have received similar exercises from a physio therapist but these are new and have seemed to help me. Is it normal to not have any strength in arm. For example when its at its worst I can't even hold a coffee cup in my hand and find it very difficult to even sweep my floors. I live in the Thunder Bay Ontario region and would love any recommendations in this area. I dont think I've ever been properly diagnosed. Seems like my symptoms are brushed under the rug
    cause their always mild by the time I get an MRI cause of how long the waiting list is. Any help would be great!

    Hi doctor, I have a herniated disc and also bone spurs at C5-C6 and C6- C7 level. Some doctors said surgery is the only option to remove disk since the herniated disc is irreversible. I am 34 years old.I want to know from you whether these herniated disc and ostephytes can retake their original position by doing exercises suggested by a physiotherapist? Thanks

    Unfortunately I have a bunch pinched nerves in my neck that I can't even touch that area with my fingers. In the last 2 weeks I am been suffering from intense neck burning pain with numbness, pins and needles. Are there any super gentle stretches or postural exercises that I can do for my severe condition? Thank you.

    I was just diagnosed with C5-C6 cervical disk bulge after suffering with severe and intense upper arm and shoulder pain for weeks. Then the finger tingling started. I am only 27, it feels like my life has ended and I've just been so sad and shocked. I can't sleep for weeks because of the intense pain and spasms. I can no longer lift weights. I can't workout anymore like I used to. Will this heal??? It's been 4 weeks since the intense pain started, but over 3 months since the subtle neck pain began. Will I ever go back to being healthy again? I'm so nervous.

    Hello doctor,
    I am suffering from multiple mild disc bulges, disc desiccation and degenerative changes as seen in the MRI. I am practicing my neck exercises religiously since 8 weeks now. Although my radiating pain has improved quite a lot, my neck muscle is swollen near the spine on the outside of my neck on one side where the bulging has occurred. This swelling wont go away. What should I do for this?
