- Doom Guy Ep05 is here! See? I'm still making these. They just take time.
This was originally going to be episode 4, but I did a swapsie with what I had planned for episode 5 (Drone) as that ep was shorter, simpler and thus would have been able to get it out faster.
This episode also introduces the 'domestic' angle I'm bringing in to Doom Guy. He is still the badass Doom Slayer, but I'm treating it as if it were a day job. Hopefully this will lend itself to some humourous situations as we see him in 'regular' scenarios.

I was wondering in the video, when DoomGuy's looking at the map, was the layout based on an actual level? If so, which?
Just random lines based on the original map aesthetic. At some point I would like to come up with a complete layout for the UAC Mars base to use in these animations.

Funny how I just randomly stumbled across this channel after watching old Doom clips. I was happy to see another video was posted today after watching Ep 1-4, and I have to say that I love this style of animation. Everything is just perfect!
I found it funny that using the BFG against a spider inside a house is much like "killing it with fire" or burning your house down lol. Also, Doom Guy skipping down the hallway and then wiping the dust off his feet into the cyberdemons face was great!

He beat up, almost killed his commanding officer for ordering him to open fire on civilians, and got demoted to mars duty.

holy crap the quality of the animation and coloring from when compared to the previous videos is a noticeable improvement! excellent job!
It's incredible how accurate you get everything to the game
In lore, the doom guy can kill titans in a fit of rage, the biggest and the strongest demons in hell, he also killed the icon of sin which was, at the very least building-sized. I don't think the animation is accurate to the lore but I think it's still funny.
@@boreaseasanimationchannel7573 if you want to get deep into the nerd shit this is Doomguy before he became the Slayer. He took down the titan in the titans realm before he got buffed yes but wouldn't be able to match the more powerful demons he faced without getting juiced up by the divinity machine.
I still hate that they did that.

I just realised that this version of doomguy can one hand a bfg meaning hes stronger then the doomslayer and doomguy from the games because they both hold the bfg two handed

I actually like this portrayal of doom guy. He’s not the god he canonically is, but more as a calm guy just stuck on mars. A nice break from all the “doom guy is op” stuff that’s always being said.
Also I love how earth is just completely normal lol

i love how the style is still simple, but you can definitely tell that there's more animation.
Lesson of the life : If you see a spider, don't waste any ammo on it, squish it with your hands or another tool if you're afraid of contact!
