- You used to be able to get outside of the map with this method if you were lucky. Unfortunately, with testing, it seems 343 patched it. They have patched many glitches and tricks it seems, which is very disappointing.
That is a beautiful thumbnail as well, one of the auto ones. Looks like the pistol is floating. Also TH-cam bugged and this is a re-upload.

If I'm not mistaken you can survive with armor lock
Not sure, can test it, 343 changed how the armor lock ones work so it is a little more complicated now
Give yourself invincibility (0 percent damage taken, max shields, max health, etc) and it should work fine but there's nothing outside except kill timers
Makes me wonder if you could get an armor lock and then get uo there, lock upz and get pushed through the shield
Tested it out and if you turn on invulnerability (within the firefight settings) you can jetpack the same way I did and if you angle it correctly you will be pushed outside the map. Unfortunately there are barriers all around the outside and only one spot you can stand where the return to battlefield does not kill you. I am going to do a video on it soon.
