    Another point to consider regarding console vs gaming laptop - depends where your games are. If most of the games you're looking forward to play are on steam then a gaming laptop will be sufficient. You can anyways use a controller and relax on the couch and game. Go for the consoles if the games are platform dependant.

    I have been using the moto edge 20 pro for past 1.5 years now...The android 12 update was late and so was the 13(got update 2 days back). The monthly security updates are also late but I never faced any bugs or software/camera downgrading after the update. The camera has also improved slightly compared to when I bought it. Late updates are fine as long as the company doesnt introduce any new bugs or intentionally downgrade the performance

    2:40 That's completely wrong. With NFC, you can pay via credit card, where as with UPI, you must have the balance in your account. Also, (likely) nfc payment can work without internet.

    • @travelandbeyonds
      @travelandbeyonds ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thats what I felt too.. I try to use credit card more than UPI, and having NFC really helps. Yes, for people who dont use credit cards, UPI is best option. Even I use UPI, but only where card payment is not accepted. Like at the kirana store.

      @KUNJANPATIL16 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@travelandbeyonds PhonePe and Paytm support this payment method. Since many small merchants may not switch to POS machines, the best solution is credit card on UPI. We should switch to Rupay credit card because why should we provide earnings to Visa and other foreign entities? Although it may take time, people will slowly and steadily get used to it. You can keep one Rupay credit card for UPI transactions. I am using HDFC Tata Neu for the same purpose.

    I would like to add something to gaming console cost thing. Console games are usually costlier, you can find games so much cheaper on steam on discount and buying them with bundle compared to console. If you're someone who either likes to pirate games or even collect them by buying console is going to be completely outstripping the whatever upgrade cost you may have every 3-4 yrs with your gaming laptop. Console will only make sense if u don't buy a lot of games, but that itself diminishes the purpose of a console!

  • @robin214389
    @robin214389 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Hello Sir! I love watching your q&as. I don't agree that console in the long run is cheaper. I think the other way around. I agree console cost around 50000 but the games are very expensive. Paying 3-5 thousand for a single game and paying to play online on top of that is certainly expensive. You also need to invest in a display at the same time. On other hand if one invests in good gaming laptop or desktop-the games are much cheaper + free online play + choice of pirating games if you dont feel like paying+ Pc game pass is also available if anybody comes from xbox. These are just my opinions other gamers may think something else🙂 Huge Respect Sir!

    25:20 I have tested my NEXON EV MAX and it is a huge difference with 2 people and 5 people with 2 kids in the car.. i tested it with 5 adults and 2 Kids ( 5-10years) . With 2 people it gives me around 300kms easily if i drive nicely, slow pick ups and around 80kmph top speed. but with 5 adults+2kids, it gave me 125kms in 100 to 47% drain ( so 125kms in 53%) .. so while returning, i kept the speed at max at 45kmph... and after dropping below 25% i kept the speed at 35kmph. and i reached home at 5% battery left. so in tota it gave me 253~ KMs in this test. i thought it'd give me around 250 kms with 65-70kmph speed but it was not going to give me that range so i had to keep the speed around 35-45kmph to reach back home. (My ac was on all the time at 22. you should keep your ac on all the time but keep it on low power usage, because if you dont keep ac on and if you roll down your windows, your range will drop way more because of air resistance. the air coming in from the windows at higher speed creates way more weight in the car and it will drop down the range more than using it with the AC on.) but still i am happy, because the in the journey there were so many underpasses, around 5-7 underpasses, and with 7 people in total, it takes huge drain to cross that underpass. and as you know, underpasses these days are very very steep. in normal conditions, without too many inclines, it will give you 230-250 kmps with 60-75kmph speed with full load possible.

    So its not a choice between console vs PC, simply because Xbox is different from PS which is different from Nintendo
    So here are the things you need to consider while making your decision:
    1. Which platform has the most games you like? Not all console games are ported to PC, not all PC games have a console version and there are console exclusives which are available only for that particular console and nothing else
    2. Going by a recent trend over the past few years, a decent number of games that are released for both PC and consoles usually end up being terrible on PC due to the publisher having little experience in making games for PC
    3. Upfront cost - Consoles are always cheaper, specially now that even mid range GPUs cost 35k+
    4. Game cost - Console games these days cost around 5k or more. PC games are cheaper due to regional pricing advantages and platforms like Steam hold regular sales where you can get around 50% discount on games
    If you do go for PC, I would advise you to get a desktop instead.
    Most Gaming laptops have poor thermals which cause parts to degraded very fast
    Do note that its a myth that you have to keep upgrading your PC parts every two years or so unless you want to be on the bleeding edge of performance
    Most people buy the good stuff and stick to it for the next 6~7 years, which is roughly the lifespan of a console
    The only things I have changed in my PC is adding a couple of SSDs since I was running out of space
    Whatever you go for, gaming has become a very expensive hobby these days

    Somewhat agree with your take on gaming, IMHO for casuals consoles are way better as they're cheaper, no hassle of drivers etc. and console games are tuned for normies like they have aim-assist, hints and whatnot to make gaming easier for the masses. However if you're serious about gaming or want to play professionally then there's no option to a gaming PC/laptop (based on if you need portability or not). Way better input from the mouse, way more powerful for more fps, can be upgraded, if you're tech savvy you can even tinker with your games to make the experience better for yourself (eg. pirating games), you can emulate console exclusive games so you don't miss out on games and you get the incredible backlog of PC games all the way back to 1990s even 1980s, both of which you can't do on consoles.
    Hence it is not that simple, it totally depends on your priorities. For example for someone like me, console are not an options and never have been, I started gaming on the superior platform that is PC back in 6th grade why would I downgrade lol. Plus I play actual esports games like Dota 2 and CSGO (now CS2) which you can't play on consoles. But for someone like you sir, who just wants to play games for fun on the couch on a big screen consoles are obviously the better option.

      it came a11 out of the box at the price point of 21500(6gb+128variant). i update my phone only when they are under warranty (you know why!).
      they did not release a12 update, 5g enabling update in the warranty period which i had PAID for! plus I've read some user saying silent downgrading of widewine support in netflix with no mention in newer updates nor an effort to restore it back. and battery draining issues, camera quality issues were also seen among them.
      so i"m currently stuck (although usable, thank to my decision of not trusting the company/youtubers in updating the phone straight away) with the phone currently missing out on TWO major features which I PAID for calculatedly while i purchased this device.

    I have a question?? Is timely updates really that essential apart from bragging rights? Is a phone getting an update 2 months later really going to make much difference?? Is quick updates more important than the stability of the device.
    I have Moto Edge 30 Ultra and I have had the most surreal experience in a phone yet. No glitches whatsoever. I wouldn't put that over any damn Android 13 update which can possibly harm that experience.
    So, I urge people to not get carried away by the whole quick update and put phone stability over that. After all its first and foremost your communication device and media accessory and that should work flawless.
