How did I not find this youtube channel till now, woah!!!!! I love the content as well as maintain standard procedures of modeling example: Using POINT, LINE, PLANE for skecth reference and maintaining tree in a good way keeping sketches separate in geometric set and body separate set for pad

Ich kenne Catia v 5 seit ca 10 Jahren, arbeite auch damit , aber was Sie hier vorführen, ist einfach Genial.! Respekt.! 2017 hatte ich die Möglichkeit gehabt in GSD die Prüfung zu bestehen mit Note1, aber ich merke es gibt noch sehr viel zu lernen..! Da ziehe ich nur vor Ihnen den Hut! It is the arrow up/down key. This will work if there is more than one object in a certain limited area.

how do you send the H and V Direction into the show now?
If I draw a frame over it, then the coordinate system is always marked with.

You should watch my "frame" closely, at first I zoom in , so the axis system gets bigger in relation and then I do the frame just big enough ;)
But you could hide those elements by selecting them in the tree as well.
Please check you selection options - with my settings it selects only elements which are complete inside the frame.

For me, the coordinate system is smaller than the H and V Direction. So I always choose the coordinate system with me.
Can I aadjust this at Catia?
@@torstenr2493 TOOLS->OPTIONS->INFRASTRUCTURE->PART INFRASTRUCTURE->DISPLAY - there is a slider for the size of the axis system

Hi Sir, actually I am getting a problem while mirroring. Both the split are not getting mirrored, only the pad is mirrored. I tried a lot but unable to clear the problem. Plz, tell me something about this.

Hello Walden, For some reason the shell function won't work for me :( ..... It is giving me a tangency error. Any idea what might be the reason?
I would assume there is a radius which is to small - so if you shell it - there is no radius any more on the inside.

Where it was better to draw a seat-siemens NX or Catia v5?
In my opinion the round/filet in nx is better than the catia filet.

In catia v5, accelerator key disabled which will be used for short cut.
How to enable?
What would be the "accelerator key" ???

We will assign keyboard shortcut under option/customize/all commands.
In catia we have to assign the short cut with accelerator key (ctrl,sht,alt) and this displayed as icon.
It is greyed and not enabled.
@@SatishKumar-gt6jd I assume you have to use "catia admin mode" to change this. Because usually those greyed out options can be changed only in admin mode.

You may have noticed, I do all exercises if possible in all programs and therefore in Inventor as well. That is the idea of my channel. ;)

How much you earn as seating design engineer
Nothing at all 😂because I´m not a designer at all. I just do these exercises to show you the kind of techniques you could use. Regarding the ergonomics - it is very bad.
I know this is very powerful software but this is so slow at this task it makes my mind explode. We are making parts like this in fusion 360 then importing them into nx for the same reason. This is just painful to watch.
So please note this is just an exercise. Of course it is possible to model similar parts in catia very fast as well.
