- On my first outing for the new 2023 I intended to do some sky rat pest control... And ended up going home with a full bag of Eurasian doves!

Pigeon breast is also a really good idea for a great meal :) They're delicious but from the best, which is obvious you get from the possibly youngest :) Pest control with some good tastes is maybe the best you can do, or just feed the cats :) Our furry friends will be gracefull too for such meal which the show with rised tails :)
Yes, mate, the cats come running as soon as they see me get there 😄 I've had my full over the years, some friends of mine too, although I still bring them pigeons every now and then. So the cats get the most of the catch these days.

Amazing rifle! I know, the engineers know FARRRR more than I do, but I will STILL never get used to the look of an unsupported barrel. Even if it's just a belly band to the tank, it just 'completes' the image for me of a properly-constructed business-end of a rifle. I know, I know, standing waves, harmonics, vibrations out the kazoo, etc. Well, I used to live in San Diego, so I've seen my share of waves, and in grade school I played harmonica AND kazoo so I guess I know enough about those, too. Great shooting! Thanks for sharing! 🙃
😄 You got me there, David - all that's left for me to say is thank you, and that each company decides on itself whether to support the barrel, leave it free-floating or tension it. Usually it depends on the design of the gun, power levels, barrel type too, and their own experience and test results 😉

When that one sky rat hit that metal roof on the way down it was like the dinner bell rang. Here comes that kitty cat! LOL!!!
You will have a good meal with all of those collard doves you got. A stir fry maybe?
Over here in the U.S. we make Dove Poppers out of them. You want to make some new friends? Bring a plate of those to a party and grill them up!

So, Here you go!
After you clean your doves and remove the meat from the breasts you will have 2 pieces from each breast. I like to brine those in lemon lime soda like 7 Up, Sprite, or something similar overnight to get rid of the "gamey" taste. You can also use a saltwater brine if you want.
Get a small can of sliced pickled Jalapeno peppers, a pack of cream cheese at room temperature, and 1 lb of cured thin sliced bacon. I prefer the hickory smoked bacon.
Take a Jalapeno slice, spread some cream cheese in it, take a piece of dove breast and put it with the Jalapeno/cream cheese slice and wrap it in the bacon and secure it with a toothpick. Get your BBQ going and cook them over indirect heat until the bacon is done. People who would never eat game of any kind will absolutely devour them. It's a real "gateway drug" in that regard, if you know what I mean. You can also do it with pigeons as well. Trust me, people will love them!
Another thing is a Ramaki.
Usually done with chicken liver.
Marinate your dove or pigeon breast pieces in Teriyaki Sauce for a couple of hours and take a breast piece and put it with a canned water chestnut slice and wrap it in a bacon slice and secure it with a toothpick. Grill over indirect heat until the bacon is done.
It will be another big hit with everyone!
Give it a try. You will be glad you did!

Mike, that's really not sth that can be determined just like that... Depends on the gun quality and design, reg or no reg, fill pressure, reg working pressure, hammer spring setting (if there is one), etc.

Thanks, Manny 🙂 I said it at the end of the video - it's non-adjustable, and although it's predictable and has a short travel, it's stiff and needs getting used to. Definitely not match grade.
@@AirRifleActivities yep I saw it. They are not my favorite kind of triggers, I wish they ad at least a travel trigger adjustment screw for the next generation of this rifles. That will help a lot. I’m my SS PLUS, the trigger is hard to be predictable, and long. I’m very close to work with the trigger and add a screw. I find out they are build like a tank. But still having many flaws.

I think it's the hammer spring, matey 🙂 And it's not nearly as loud as you think - the camera is mounted right next to it, hence the loud recording.

I watched this video again, and I couldn’t help but noticing how loud of a ping that gun has. Is it because the camera is mounted on the gun or does it really sound that loud to your ear?
No, mate, it's not that loud, the cam is right next to the mechanism, but I admit there is a ping, just not as loud as it seems.

Depends, on the shooter and what you would use the gun for, what power levels you need, how much you're willing to spend, it's a number of factors really and there's no simple answer to that question, mate.
