As I read the comments ,it appears that most are going with the tiger, but I seen a few videos where the lion was winning, I guess to sum it up I think it depends on the fighting in the big cats and to consider other species of tigers.(like the Siberian, a true powerhouse!)

As a big cat fan and my favourite big cat is tiger. In a fight a lion would win tiger just doesnt have the endurance. Endurance is everything in a fight. Yes weight categories are a thing in fighting but the person in that weight categorie has more endurance almost always wins. As I read the comments ,it appears that most are going with the tiger, but I seen a few videos where the lion was winning, I guess to sum it up I think it depends on the fighting in the big cats and to consider other species of tigers.(like the Siberian, a true powerhouse!)

Yes weight categories are a thing in fighting but the person in that weight categorie has more endurance almost always wins. That’s because the tiger knows that the lion would not be an easy fight for him. Anyone who is interested in this topic and done some research on it will know that the tiger is a loner who hunts his own food and it’s a natural instinct for him to run away when facing a strong opponent like a lion because if he gets injured in a fight he’s more likely to die since he has no one to hunt for him unlike the lions who have their lioness to hunt. But if you read what many zoologist say, then they favour a bengal/siberian tiger over an african lion.
