You don't use the terrain system for it. Which is perfectly achievable. I get that you want Unity to have as wide support as possible - but at a certain point you need to start being able to actually make the tools you need for your goal if you want to make something that's ultimately unique. If you really feel like you cant make planets because Unity don't support rotating terrains in their terrrain system then I doubt you are approaching your development in a way that can ever really work out. If when you are faced with a problem in your solution during development and your response to that is that you just can't do it unless Unity solves your problem for you... You're never actually going to make anything :P
Whoever coordinates and plans those interviews deserves a raise.
I will never take smol details like these in games for granted now
Me neither!

We share some past brother.
Yes bröther
Wut bout em?
@@ShatabdaRoy115 Did a similar atmosphere simulation, really interesting video if you haven't yet seen it.
@@AnsityHD yes I saw, but this sader is a bit better I guess
Nice!
Does anyone know what the fate of Book Of The Dead free asset will be?
Perfect
Amazing!!!
Many more to come.
This video is about visualizing a planets atmosphere not simulating it, is it not?
Wunderful
Meanwhile Unity doesn’t support rotating terrains, so how 🤔 do we make planets??
🤦♂️
A big ball?
You got a lot to learn
You just program that yourself. Think Unreal comes with a planetary terrain feature out of the box ? No engine does because it's niche.
