ಕನ್ನಡದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ದಾಳಿ,ಅನಾದಾರವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ,ಇಂತಹ ಮಹನೀಯರ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಬದ್ದತೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ರಾರಾಜಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ,ಮಾನ್ಯ ಪಾವಗಡ ಪ್ರಕಾಶರಾಯರಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗನಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ಪೂರ್ವಕ ವಂದನೆ.

Telugu is definitely influenced by Kannada big time. Giving following points to consider how Telugu followed Kannada in every step.
1. First Kannada inscription is older than first Telugu inscription
2. First Kannada Kanda padya (there is a saying I heard ’kandamu raasina vaadu kavulu' meaning he is the poet who can write Kanda poem, Kanda is a famous meter in ancient poem) is older than first Telugu Kanda padya.
3. First Kannada poem is older than first Telugu poem.
4. In fact Kannada adikavi Pampa -known as of now but there were more poets before whose works yet to be discovered- is from Vengi his younger brother is first Telugu poet.
5. Badami Chalukya Kingdom won Vengi by King Pulikeshi-II and his young brother Vishnuvardhan started eastern Chalukya empire from 7th century and as now kannadigas adopt to local culture, he also supported the development of local language Telugu.
6. Andhra Bharatam is inspired by Pampa's work in kannada and aided by Narayana Bhatta who's a kannadiga in writing Andhra Bharatam which Nannaya himself told.
7. Not only the storyline, or writing up a kavya but also the style of it which is ‘champu' is inspired by Pampa which is till today considered best in class and native to Kannada.
8. Other kannada poets are also hailed from Andhra like Ponna, Nagavarma, who didn't speak about Telugu but great scholars and poets in Kannada. This tells that Telugu literature got influenced by Kannada literature which also indicates that in the current border areas of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, kannada was the major language.
9. Apart from literature, empires connecting to the literature also in the same way. As told Eastern Chalukya was younger brother empire of Badami Chalukya. Later Vemulavada and other Chalukyas also followed the same way like brothers of Kalyani Chalukya.
10. Along with Chalukya, other kannada empires encouraged local language like Telugu to develop in the respective geographical areas, that went to peak in Vijayanagar (initially it was Karnataka Empire, vijaynagar being capital and for political reasons to unify other linguistic communities called so) empire, and Telugu pushing kannada West wards allot of people migrating and settling not only in borders of current AP and Telangana but also in now Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. As kannadigas are known to adopt to local culture (I know two Kannadigas from Mehabub Nagar speaking in Telugu, two from Solapur Maharashtra speaking Marathi) they too started to go out, or adopted to make way for them.
11. And with the script, it is evident that current Telugu one was little modified from old kannada script which is seen in old kannada inscriptions and being ruled by common dynasties it's obvious that Telugu taken it. And Kannadigas again being happy and changed its way to differentiate and evolved to present day.
12. Coming to script lot of words of Telugu are actually borrowed by Kannada. This happened when the place was ruled by common dynasties over centuries and shared common culture.
13. In fact allot of words in Telugu are found in old kannada which now kannada people have left using frequently or completely which seem Telugu ones along or apart from common Dravidian roots of words. Ex:ಸಿಗ್ಗು,ಇಲ್,ನೆಯ್, ಎನಿತು,ಎರೆ,ಮಾಣಿಸು,ಪಾಟ,ಆಲಂಪಿಸು, ಉರೆ, ಈ etc
14. Not only words but also the formation of sentences which Kannadigas seldom use, see following points for examples
15. ನಾನು ತಿನ್ನೆನು in Kannada becomes 'nenu ತಿನ್ನನು’in Telugu. Similarly ತಿನ್ನದು in Kannada is same in Telugu for neuter and feminine gender, whereas ತಿನ್ನಳು for feminine in Kannada. As usual Kannadigas left those and now they are using like 'ತಿನ್ನಲ್ಲ’ for every gender and self..!!! Great sacrifice😀🤣
16. Another example is 'ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತುಂ’ in old kannada is left in current kannada and used in Telugu like 'thinnuthu’
17. Another good example in kannada is probability verb like ಮಾಡೀಯೆ, ಮಾಡಿಯಾನು is used in Telugu in same fashion.
18. One more example which modem Kannadigas forgot and used only in scoldings like 'ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಹೋಗ’ , I have heard being used alike in Telugu. Classical example for forgotten kannada is from Pampa's first poem in Bharata..'ಶ್ರೀಯನರಾತಿಸಾಧನ…”ಈಗೆ"ಮಗೆ…
19. Another example is in like ‘samuchhaya’ like after bindu after a nouns in Telugu, example 'sarovaramu’ ‘pankajamu’ etc which is just taken by Kannada.. See 10 th century Kannada poet Ranna's poem ಪಂಕಜಮುಂ…
20. Same applies to verbs Like povadam, ravam, in Telugu which is ಪೋಗುಂ,ಬರವುಂ…
21. Take one more like, ‘let's go’ in Telugu is 'podam’ ‘rammu' is likewise in old kannada which now left and using only 'ona’ suffix in modern kannada like ಹೋಗೋಣ,ತಿನ್ನೋಣ etc.
22. Amazing I have thought earlier that 'lu’ suffix is exclusive for Telugu for plural words, but same words I found in old kannada kavya like ಸುಯ್ಯಲು,ಪುಯ್ಯಲು, ಅಳಲು, etc.

Vijayanagara having established by Sri Vidyaranya, having seen a great contribution of Sri Vyasaraja, Sri Purandara Dasa, Sri Kanaka Dasa and such magnificent Temples like Sri Vijaya Vithala etc.

When Hakka-Bukka got guidance from Shri Vijaya Vidyaranya swamy of Adi Shankara Peeta to built an empire to save Hinduism. To start at sacred time. He instruct to inaugurate the work by digging land in Hampi when he hear the first sound of Shanku . But when he was meditating in a cave he gives signal by playing Shanku. Then he digs the land. But, just after a moment he listen the sound from Shanaku once again. With shock Hakka-Bukka rushed to Vidyaranya and explains the incident what and all happened. Then Vidyaranya explains about Fate(Vidhi). First command was not given by him.What has to happen will happen. We can't control anything. The age of the empire will be 300-350 years. Till the end the empire will be fulfilled with glory and peace. But after this period the whole empire will collapse and will become a disaster in the history of India.......

Kanaka Daasa and Purandara Daasa were the contemporary of Krishnadevaraya. Purandara Mantapa and Kanaka Gopura were built in Hampi by Krishnadevaraya. Karnataka Sangeeta which came from Karnata Samrajya came during Krishnadevaraya.
