All you have to do is chop your sample, go to program edit, use warp to beat, select tempo button, and use the cog wheel to adjust the transients to the grid. It's just that simple. MPC makes it easy.
Dude , you ever looked 8nto the arpegiator menu itself ? There are all kinda different action and pattern mode , for baselines , chords for dance , hip hop , RnB , or strums for guitar , you name it. I discovered it last week
Always go with the given tempo. Loops with tails are a pain in the ass, but all you gotta do is chop the end off. Then make sure it’s right before you time stretch it. Loops with no tail are pretty straight forward.
Coming from the mv8000 im very familiar with using audio trcks. In fact I was really surprised at the amount of ppl who werent using this method. It was the first trick i learned on mpc one fer real. Great video as usual regardless.
yes i had the maschine before mpc , you will get more out of maschine because its a daw vs the mpc i only really brought for standalone and the speakers, it just depends on how you want your workflow to be
Tried several times to get ur book and it Don't wrk ... and I want to ask why have the drums from track 1 is on a track I layed my sample chops on track 4..each time I trigger any of my sample chop I get a drum hit aswell..
It will tell you when you go to do it. Extract will extract the portion from the sample and then you can create a new sample. Discard will get rid of everything outside of the selected portion and leave you with the original sample minus the discarded elements.
For me the weak point of the MPC is the time stretch it's really very complicated I don't understand Akai's logic at this level despite your video I still don't understand I prefer to do it on FL and transfer it to the MPC too much step for somthing very simple i hop an update to simplify this
very true but im having faith that when the mpc live 3 drop its going to be game over lol but yea this is definitely something i want them to work on, everyone was so hype about stems but in my mind all im thinking is just an upgrade to time stretch

Using the loop as a audio clip allows you to time stretch and place the loop where you want like the fl playlist
thanks i got to try that out
@@JaeFreshmen show me out when you make a video about it💪🏾
All that is is using the warp function can do the same in a drum program for each pad but gotta know the og bpm or mess around with it

I didn't understand how people just ignore this method. It's simple and quick
you saved me 8 minutes of my life
They really need to fix the time stretch in Mpc

Thanks so much for your tutorials!❤
You should try to sample a 90's rnb song and flip it in a modern beat on the MPC and Fl Studio
Thanks for this! Massive thank you from Toronto.

did you even click the link in the pinned comment?
Yeah you could have just used warp from the beginning that’s what it’s for
warp is not the best for time stretching i did a whole video on why sample edit mode processing is better but imo tho but do you
CRRAAAZZYYY INDEED…… GODD BLESSS!!!!!!!

When I hear “a reasonable number”.
I don’t know the metric to aim for.
you gotta watch the video again lol jp but i said the number that is close to your sample tempo or the what the mpc gives you
Fire tip 🔥
thanks for tuning in
What is the difference between extract and discard?
It will tell you when you go to do it.
Extract will extract the portion from the sample and then you can create a new sample.
Discard will get rid of everything outside of the selected portion and leave you with the original sample minus the discarded elements.

What sucks it all these ways are about to change in 3.0 🤦🏽
Nice!
Sorry, but I don't get it
Why do you need to stretch the sample second time, wouldn't it be perfect in the first place?
I think he stretched a second time to match his project tempo and this method "swings" better.
bro just try both ways and see for yourself
Yo bro the website said sauce it up 2 is sold out at 30$
