man have been trippin about this time stretching into program edit and sample edit. you explain this within 30 seconds. Instant subcribed. I have a MPC Studio Black and I come from Ableton and its warpin skills. Thanks a bunch bro, defo gonna check the rest. cheers
Dropping Gems. Good shit. Also when using the bass from the original sample, make sure you cut the lows out of the original sample so its not so muddy sounding.
JAE, extremely good video. You are definitely leveling up. Can you please do a video on taking a midi track and converting it into a audio track, while showing the advantages of bouncing to an audio track. God Bless You Brother.
this is from a children choir in japan recorded on their broadcast channels long time ago , tracklib i dont really find modern sample makers unless you set the date to something recent
Problem I'm having with using the sample beats is when I try to play the drums on top of the sample even with the metronome on my drums still are off beat unless I do hella tweaking to the midi notes
Coo ima cop. I been making music for 20+years… yo tips help me when I want to do something that I know can be done (something that I may know in Maschine or Abelton) but don’t know how on the current MPC.
I'm really trying to understand the baseline part. Are you saying you tune all of your baselines to C regardless of the scale of the track? This sample was in A minor but you tuned the bass sample to C. Is that because of the relationship between A and C, or because you tune every baseline to C? I Just want to make sure I'm clear. Thanks.
you had the first part right if your 808 is in a different key other than c in order for it to pretty much sync with pad perform it has to be tune to c or the root note of the 808 sample must be the same as the 808 key but don't overthink it bro this is something you got to do to play along with pad perform
Jae , is there a reason why you used looper to record that bassline instead of sampler ? TBH , im not sure the things a looper can , maybe a idea for a video , if you haven't done that already
@@kymlittlefield4389👍 yeah i realy need to find more about it , maybe it can help ring out a external synth instead of cutting it of at the end of a sequence. Im pretty new to it , started 9 months ago, still much to learn

Jae , is there a reason why you used looper to record that bassline instead of sampler ? TBH , im not sure the things a looper can , maybe a idea for a video , if you haven't done that already
Don’t sleep on looper. It just keeps it in the exact amount of bars you wanted to record.
