. . . well I do have to admit, after seeing the video for the 2nd time, I convinced with how good this cam system is. too bad I just can't afford a $900 dollar bow right now
@thebowhunter888 With a single cam you CAN have timing issues and you are more likely to, because they arent tied in the same. Solo cams also do not produce the power that a dual cam bow will.
Will putting twists in the cable to get the draw stops to hit at the same time affect the cams position when at rest, say if the timing mark are spot on before I start twisting the cable to get the draw stops in time. I live in Australia and there isn't a decent pro shop in the country. I have a reign 7 and the draw stops are hitting at the same time but the timing marks are a little out on the bottom cam only.
@Halkrath yes single cam can have timing issues but are easier to tune. single cam bows can generate the same power dual cam bows as well depending on the cam design, for instance the 2011 bear carnage is as fast as the bowtech invasion if not faster but has a slightly longer brace height of 7.25 and also shoots 345fps. with that said with every bowtech that I've shot at my pro shop year after year, I've always like the way they shoot and feel on my hand
@Halkrath . . . also the bowtech / diamond stud that I shoot only shoots 250 fps with a 413 grain arrow but I have harvested 2 deer with it this year and both were complete pass though. I'm not to worried about power since all these bows got all the power you need to harvest any North American animal
That's definitely a possibility. Your timing is likely to be off. When the cables are both identical to those reference marks (ideally both right in center) you're timing is on. Best to take to a dealer who can micro tune it for you. The MicroSyncDial also helps pull one cable back in time.
Bowtech Archery I bought a used Experience and love it! Was shooting awesome when I got it. I then shot it thru paper and there was to the left I believe and looked up there tear and said move the rest to the right and didnt fix it. I took it to a bow shop and they put a twist on the left side. Was shooting perfect tears. About 2 weeks later I noticed my shots were off and I shot it thru paper again and was off again. Watching this video I see the cables are off in the timing marks
Yeah, adjust the cables NOT the rest. Cables and strings can have variations over time (weather, repetitive use and strings getting forced into cam tracks over and over, etc..) so timing adjustments will be needed.. on any bow! Those marks are there so you can identify quickly if there are issues. tuning those cables and cam lean are crucial. Good news is that a Bowtech dealer will know how to fine tune those with lasers and other standard practices we provide in their training.
this video was not very detailed, what is the distance from cam to laser? is the same adjustments for LH bows as well as RH? i could go on but it is a good video just not enough information.
everybody knows Bear's IBO speeds are more exaggerated than any other bow company.... I have worked with a Bear Carnage before and know alot of other ppl that has... the speed rating should be closer to 330 at the most instead of 345 fps.... you will never see a Bear Carnage tuned to spec shooting anywhere close to its IBO speed lol
If you all haven't seen a documentary called.... It's worse than you think...by revelations of Jesus Christ ministries I suggest you do... All praise and glory to the most high Jesus Christ
Great job man, easy to understand video ! Would be nice if all bow shops had guys as knowledgeable as you.
Man your shop is awesome! I love how clean and organized it is. Great video as well!
Thanks for the info, I just got a RPM 360 and I really like doing all my own tuning and setup.
Thank you for the video. It saved me
Explained very well

what type of draw board is that. looks sweet
Please tell me what kind of laser you are using......Thanks
If the cables are off a lil in the timing marks like in the beginning of this video will that cause the bow not to shoot accurate?

Cool! Thank you! 🎯#TEAMBOWTECH#🎯
What kind of laser are you using ?
what is the name of the laser tool called??
It is very informative but I think its too complicated. Which is why I like my Diamond bow. No timing issues with single cam
this video was not very detailed, what is the distance from cam to laser? is the same adjustments for LH bows as well as RH? i could go on but it is a good video just not enough information.
I have two Dimond bows, and one bowtech. And I also have some higher end bows. But in my opinion you can not beat bowtech.
its a Spot Hogg laser
