Hasn't it already been successfully determined to be a creepy edit of this young Japanese woman on some old forum or chatroom who was harassed for being fat? If we go this whole video not acknowledging that story, confirmed or not, I'm going to be very disappointed and let down by just the second video.
Y'all should cover Borrasca. Great story. I heard Wendigoon talk about it in some podcast clip and thought it sounded cool so I went and read it. Y'all should get that story in front of more people and do a creep cast episode about it.

I think the best thing about the Jeff story is how it's a perfect time capsule for the mid 2000's tweenage angst deviantart edgelord era. For as bad as it is from a story standpoint, you just know the kid writing it had so much fun and thought it was SO badass; and I think that's great.
I was in the creepypasta fandom during its peak on tumblr and deviantart. Jeff was always portrayed as this anime boy who’s kinda crazy but more emo if anything. Despite never reading the story at the time, I already figured that the emo anime boy depiction was a fandom interpretation. Just because I assumed the creepypasta would be what the Slenderman story was, a creepy tale about a killer. However, listening to this now, I realized that no, the fandom portrayal is actually the most accurate. He really is a terribly written emo anime boy.
@@___von___7377 tbh it would probably work better. At least if it’s in an anime format you already expect the tropes used in the story and its easier to suspend your disbelief
@@GoofyGooberGooberySunrise Jane the killer. She was her own thing I believe. Sort of like a spin off not necessarily a gender bend. I wasn’t into the ships. I was too busy with the y/n stuff 😭
@@GoofyGooberGooberySunrise *Sigh of regret* I have a great memory, which really fucking sucks because I remember things like shitty creepypastas I was into when in middle school, going through my Insane Clown Posse phase. There's this origin story, a part two and three that is completely pointless slasher filler. Then, there's an even WORSE Slenderman vs Jeff The Killer. And then... Jeff vs Jane. Jeff killed Jane's family and accidentally left Jane alive. Classic revenge story mixed in with "I Fell In Love With An Emo Girl." JTK got rebooted about a decade later and is tolerable for the most part.
I actually kind of love how the story is written, because like you were saying, it's 100% done by a kid, and it fills me with nostalgia because these are some of the same issues I ran into when writing at that age. It's like loving a child's drawings because you can just feel how enthusiastic they were about their creative efforts.
Yeah, it's very raw and just goes with reckless abandon as is the way with most things you do as a kid. I'm very grateful to the story for a few different reasons, but the one I wanted to mention is the more recent Jeff The Killer stories we now have thanks to the original! An author whose name I can't recall but one who is a legit craftsman wrote what could be considered a faithful re-imagining of sorts. The origin of JtK was made into a gripping narrative as the writing has been punched way up but many plot/setting elements remain intact, plus there's a few other stories about other characters that are equally as good. Highly recommended!
he used to be an overweight kid, he had to actually try to be popular. What i'm saying is: you develop better skills if you need to fit in. I'm sure he was the one doing voices, cracking jokes, drawing caricatures etc.. Maybe i'm projecting, but that's what i did
I fucking love the "cop arrives and decides a specific punishment, sentences child and takes them away" part. Literally just Judge Dredd. Perfect. Beautiful.
I wan to know what kind of nightmare police state these people live in between that, and the fact that the cops always seem to be around every corner and respond to calls in seconds.
@sydneyslaughter7163 lowkey I will say one thing I think a lot of the weird mistakes and ideas that came from being young actually lend something of course they didn't think of them but like if you really like listen to meat canyon at the end there's like a weirdly good idea of his parents being what created him but like they sorta did maybe it wasn't stated but I think if you decide to think about what's unsaid there's possibly an ability to expand this
My boyfriend introduced me to Meatcanyon and I introduced him to Wendigoon. This is my all-time favorite crossover. God bless you two beautiful people!
@@IDontmeanit Funny story, that. My boyfriend has been staunchly atheist as long as I've known him. Until a few months ago. He decided to tailgate the guy in front of him, the guy brake checked him and my boyfriend rear-ended him. Boyfriend gets out, starts yelling, screaming, cussing, etc. while I'm sitting there shaking my head. Then it all goes silent and the car door opens. Turns out the guy my boyfriend hit was a pastor. Instead of taking the opportunity to throw hands like my guy was waiting for, the guy broke down crying and apologizing profusely. Tells us he's the pastor at a church in a parking lot connected to the road. Oh, and come to find out they share the same name. My boyfriend is dumbfounded by the entire situation. The pastor invited us to hear him preach, and we've been attending every Sunday since then. And I'll tell you something. I have seen changes in that man I never thought I would see. I prayed for him every day for over a year and I was beginning to wonder if He was listening. I'm inclined to think He always was. Sorry for the novel. Probably way more than you wanted to read, haha.
Honestly I want a big budget, Hollywood production level film made that is just this story line for line, no hint of parody or irony. Make it as genuine as humanly possible with age appropriate casting and everything. I feel that the juxtaposition of this story with those visuals would be absolutely hilarious
Recent breakthroughs have pretty much cracked the case, it comes from a japanese trend on 2chan or niconico called "make me cute", where people would take pictures of people and make them creepy. The original jeff the killer is an image of a female japanese influencer.
@@chilibeer3912 I don't know but I already feel like that must be true. Haunted Gaming like a decade ago was what got me into the whole Creepypasta/Scary Story scene. And speaking of that, didn't someone recently make a pretty fantastic video talking about that image and tried like hell to learn about it's origins? Was it Nexpo, maybe? Whoever it was did a phenomenal job.
As a kid, I was absolutely traumatized by this image and story. Now, listening to some of my favorite TH-camrs retell it and realize how terribly written it actually was has definitely relieved my childhood trauma lol
A story created by a toddler is better than what the first crap was.... what are we talking about here? Like dawg I instantly lost interest the moment they said something about r/ for that stairway video lmfao. Atleast with Jeff the killer it's part of a group of almost SCP like entities. Like it's far easier to be interested in this as opposed to some boring stairs in the woods....
@@oneautumnleaff2119bro, did you watch the video? Like actually watch it, it’s one of my favorite creepy stories of all time, also it was from r/nosleep, where a huge amount of creepypastas originate from post 4chan era. Like I get not liking Reddit I don’t either but that’s like the one good subreddit. Idk, I’m like honestly just kinda annoyed, like most of the stories aren’t even about the stairs, in fact the story isn’t even named that, it’s called “I’m a search and rescue officer and I have some stories” or something along those lines I can’t remember off the top of my head because I’m writing this at like 2 am and am pretty tired. Either way, like seriously dude, just read the story or watch their video, it’s one of the best.
I’m right with Wendigoon when he said he feels so embarrassed that Jeff used to scare him. A friend of mine was OBSESSED With creepypasta back in the late 2000’s. They’d always tell me about Ben Drowned, Laughing Jack, Eyeless Jack, Jeff The Killer, Ticci-Toby, and Slenderman and they all terrified me, especially Laughing Jack (I’ve always had a fear of clowns). I hope you guys cover more old creepypastas like this!
Yeah but if you actually met any of them in person you piss and shit immediately. 😂 Of course they're not scary because they're not real. Although they are scary with what they can do considering two girls killed their friend in 2014 to "appease" slender Man.
oh god same. i have really bad anxiety, so even if logically i knew they weren't real, there was still a big part of 10yo me who used to think "but what if it's a tulpa situation and now that everyone's talking about them they _are_ real????" embarrassing to think back on now lmao /lh
I like to think the world of Jeff the Killer is just so cartoonishly riddled with crime and 13 year old angst, that a neighborhood where the children skateboard around with guns and knives is considered fancy in everyone's eyes.
@ChillHills I think there's a good amount of legwork to be done in Jeff the killer possibly there's some weird like family things going like past child angst that's obviously there but like I think it's about parental abuse fully because the parents seem to be a driving force of negativity
My favorite lore about Jeff is that in one of his sequel stories is that he has a college level degree in computers and created a TH-cam account to steal IPs to hunt more victims.
i need more information about this so desperately man like who was he subscribed too. what was his username. did he ever watch youtube for fun or was it for jeff the killing only. did he go to community college???
Dear god I _need_ a feature length Jeff the Killer animation from Meatcanyon. I swear, creepypastas are an untapped goldmine for these two to bring back to relevancy right now.
My first exposure to internet creepypasta was either the Russian sleep experiment or the rake. I was very sheltered in high school because i was so rural and poor that we didn’t have internet until I went off to college, so it was a bit of culture shock when I had a tumblr nerd roommate who introduced me to all this stuff. Good memories. Thanks guys! Loved seeing you having fun out with Brandon and Matt and everyone!
I will never forget the Internet Historian video where Jeff is portrayed by Mark Zuckerburg’s face with Chills voice acting him (The Burger King foot lettuce guy).
Would love for you guys to eventually talk about the “My Dog Was Lost in the Woods for Three Days” creepypasta. That one genuinely terrified me in my teens. As well as the whole Pikes Peak skinwalker creepypasta as well. Love the podcast another great episode!
"My dog was lost in the woods for three days, what came back wasn't my dog" I was about to come down here and suggest that exact one. That one still gives me chills to this day! Good pick.
With Wendigoon being on Creep Cast, The Red Thread, Crypto tier list and so much more I want to give a big thanks to Mrs. Wendigoon for letting him give so much of his time to us!
Iceberg Boy really deserves his success. He seems a bit like he might develop Keanu Reaves vibes over the years if he sticks to it ^^ like that super nice and friendly guy that just happens to successfull in his field without turning into some arrogant asshole over it. Let‘s hope he goes down that road and becomes TH-cam Keanu
I think that in the end of the story if Jeff had spared his brother and said "Shhh.. Go to sleep" before escaping the house, it would've made the whole thing more coherent and even given a new meaning to his famous saying. Having a blast with these videos!
I just realized the whole party scene is literally 70 percent of the scene from the dark knight where the jokers and his goons crashed the party Bruce Wayne threw for Harvey… “LOOK AT ME”
For episode 50 or so, the guys should write their own original creepypasta. I'd love to see what they can come up with given their experiences and history with the horror genre
You know what would be awesome? A story where Billy (now in his late teens) keeps having re-occurring nightmares about seeing Jeff kill Randy and get set on fire. All the while, a series of gruesome murders have been occurring and Billy has a feeling (the kind of feeling you feel when you get that feeling etc.) that he knows who’s responsible.
As a creative writer, this is actually a really cool prompt to work off of, I just might write that exact story obviously with [hopefully] better writing but you know
It’s so funny to hear the original story and how weird and schlocky it is. Then you hear the new version and it’s like a really cool crime thriller type of story. I’m actually surprised they didn’t talk about that I feel like it’s wildly underrated.
I don’t know if this is the “new version” y’all are talking about but I could’ve swore I remembered there being a reason for Jeff’s line “go to sleep”. I thought in the story the narrator explained that Jeff wanted to kill, but still loved his brother, so he told his brother to sleep, that way he didn’t see Lu in pain/suffering when he died. That’s why when he kills in the future he tells his victim to go to sleep because the boy telling his story in the beginning reminded Jeff of his brother Lu.
Anytime I hear that feeling that feels kind of thing it just reminds me of that one scene from SpongeBob. Like pluh will seriously be acting like this with a straight face 😭 K: “Do you smell that?” S: “Smell what, Mr. Krabs?” K: “It’s a kind of smell.. that smelly smell… that kind of smell that smells.. smelly.” K: “..Anchovies…” S: “What?” K: “ANCHOVIES!”
I absolutely love the Russian sleep experiment and would love to hear you guys talk and dissect that story. Nothing frightened me more as a kid than that story.
I really like this style of reading excerpts and then doing plot breakdowns/ interjections and thoughts in between with a wrap up at the end. It very much gives a "watching a movie with a friend" feel. I also think it would be really cool if somewhere down the line you did something akin to like a "creep collection" where you do this same sort of deep dive into a bunch of super short stories all in one episode. There are a lot of impactful stories out there that don't even break 500 words and probably couldn't carry a whole episode on its own but I think it would be a lot of fun to have you guys cover them
Meatcanyon is just built for commentary content. Glad he pivoted to more of this content, we needed his quick wit and comedic timing, and amazing voice overs. Bless papa meat
borrasca had such a good start then drops the ball at the end to go "hmmmm whats the most fucked up thing ever lmao" It had so much potention, than it just go "rape lolol" immersion break
@@justlikeyourfathersaidI don't feel like it was immersion-breaking really, it was setting everything up and it made sense at the end but man that twist felt so sudden, such a slap in the face. I still haven't finished it lmao, not going back to that. I think it was just the fact that it got way too real way too fast. Why couldn't it just be actual skinned men smh💀
@@kanyakinanti it could've been supernatural and it would've been fine, it could've been what it is but toned down (but that would still be questionable because it's not particularly creative, imo it's in poor taste, and you could argue as to whether depictions of (child) rape, forced impregnation and human trafficking are okay to drop on an unsuspecting viewer who may have related experiences. There's a reason the subreddit this story originated from started to remove stories for being "horrible, not horror"). But it's extremely transparent that the writer is just trying to write the twist to be as horrible as it can be (it can't "just" be a secret rape-impregnation farm, that wouldn't be horrible enough apparently, it has to be dozens of women, the whole town has to be in on it, the FBI and high-ranking officials too, and the protags dad has to rape his own daughter). In my opinion, it stretches believability just to make the reveals be more depraved.
Thank you for taking the suggestion about reading excerpts of the story! It was way more fun and engaging. I love how much you two laughed and enjoyed the story.
I like having more of the actual source material being read, it makes the episodes a lot better for people who haven't already read the stories or have only kind of heard of them in passing
I was worried that I'd really have to just put up with just a reading of the story, but the two of you constantly cracking up and ragging on it made it actually fun to hear.
I love how its more common these days for folks to do that. It really makes the content unique, with a splash of sincerity to break up the really cringe/creepy stuff

The saddest part about this story to me is I can clearly see the potential. A child driven crazy by his abusive parents and neighbors, and the only person he loved was his younger brother. Man, if someone had wrote that, that could be amazing.
Woulda been interesting if we could realize that there's a lot of unsaid shit that actually does kinda make sense but only through the eyes of kids not like looking but just like genuinely remembering other than that the actual like composition is terrible
I think it would be interesting to see you guys dive into some Disney related creepypastas such as "Abandoned by Disney" or "Room Zero". So far I'm loving this podcast and look forward to future episodes!
I would suggest those as the creepypastas I would be interested in the podcast covering, as well, but I'm not sure that the creator of those stories deserves the ego stroking. If my memory serves me correctly, they were a complete asshat.

Pov fanfics where the protagonist kills her bullies and her parents (for nor reason) and goes to the Woods to live with jeff and the other creepypastas were my absolute fav when I was 10. Wendidad saying “I either caught something from one of the influencers from the range, either that or got shot i cant tell” made me giggle uncontrollably for 10 mins for no apparent reason
The whole Jeff the killer story feels very much like a suburban kid with parents who just don't care, and this was his way of getting anger out, through writing a story that exaggerates his feelings to get them off his chest.
I love the mental image of Jeff the 13 year old pile driving Randy the 12 year old, and then punches him in the heart so hard that it stops. Gave me tears in my eyes from laughter.
This unlocked memories of me in high school listening to Mr. Creepypata in the background while I did homework and stuff. I am loving this dynamic and can't wait to see what you all do next!
If you want some quality (but monstrous length), NES Godzilla Creepypasta was really good, and takes the whole picture concept you guys liked with Jeff the Killer to further lengths providing really well-done pixel/sprite art in screenshots of the game. The ending's very hit-or-miss with people, but still a great story, plus a sequel's been in progress for a while with a few chapters already released.
Wendigoons smooth and digestive delivery of information with meats voices and delivery mixed with the type of humor y'all got makes this podcast everything I could've hoped for and more! Loving every upload and will continue to click as soon as I see them❤
I’m so appreciative that you guys are going in talking about how terrible the writing is 😂 As someone who was already an adult when these OG creepypastas were coming out, they’ve always stunk of “I’m 14 and this is edgy” school projects that ended up in a C- and a trip to the principal’s office for the emo that wrote it 😂
@@jonesy279the assignment was one of those “write about yourself projects” you get at the beginning of the school. It’s so obvious he’s Jeff and the bullies are people he knows and it’s the classic “don’t mess with me” moments. i do think creepypastas, despite how flawed they are, are very charming in the same way i'm charmed by cheesy 90s horror movies, i don't think anyone i know has regretting knowing them, it's a so bad it's good type of thing, even though some of them are actually kinda well writer
I think that something that people kind of miss about Jeff the Killer in particular is that the image and the name were around way before the story in sites like 4chan. It was a sort of internet urban legend. But then when the creepypasta format started to get popular, there was a goldrush of tweens trying to put stories behind every image and urban legend they could find. I remember /X/ users hating that the image became associated with the edgy creepypasta.
I would love for you guys to cover the story of the orange. I forget what it was called but it was one of the earlier creepy pastas and it was very well written and I think you guys would enjoy going over it. I believe it is called “the story of her holding an orange”.
@@ozone005 without giving the story away it’s basically about a woman who continuously offers this man an orange in unconventional places throughout his life. It doesn’t sound scary but that’s the beauty of the writing because by the end an entire universe is created. Would definitely check it out.
This was clearly written by a kid, but I will say, as a writer, the hardest thing to do is to actually finish a story. So good for them and I hope they kept writing.
Another great episode guys, I love the new structure. One humble suggestion, I think that during the reading portions, Wendigoon should read the prompts/actions while Hunter does the voices. That plays to both your strengths and would be very entertaining to listen to. Just my two cents, keep up the good work!
I know a lot of people are wanting the Russian Sleep Experiment. But I'd love to see you guys look at early analog horror creepypastas. Like going over those famous early stories related to tv shows, movies, video games, radio broadcasts. It would be cool to hear a recap PLUS maybe like a compare/contrast discussion of the past vs now.
My favorite creepypasta is a bit of a long one. A story written by 1000vultures/Nathan Auerbach called Penpal. An absolutely amazing creepypasta that he eventually just straight up published as a book later down the line. I still revisit it from time to time, one of the few stories that really shook me to my core back during my late-ish teens.
SAME HERE. also the mother reacts in very believable ways which grounds it more in reality. I want to own the book because I also revisit it and I want to support the author.
Love how I can just listen and being able to do other stuff like clean, help my brother or do homework, etc. I always wonder why people love listening to podcast now I see why. Thank you for introducing me to this style of content.
A friend of mine was so into this stuff, the Jeff story was the first I ever read and I remember at the end I made fun of it so hard he ended our friendship. Over a badly written self insert power fantasy. 😂
"Im supposed to be killing rats on rune scape" I literally come back to this video just for the nasally segment of not wanting to hang out with billy. Pure gold that always gets a hearty laugh out of me
The most I’ve seen it get backtracked is 2002 in Japan, it was supposedly from the ‘Make Me Pretty’ Challenge where the images get more terrifying and horrifying with each rendition. Then it got posted on 4Chan and then the Stories started on how or where it came from.

I have a great memory, which really fucking sucks because I remember things like shitty creepypastas I was into when in middle school, going through my Insane Clown Posse phase.
There's this origin story, a part two and three that is completely pointless slasher filler. Then, there's an even WORSE Slenderman vs Jeff The Killer.
And then... Jeff vs Jane. Jeff killed Jane's family and accidentally left Jane alive. Classic revenge story mixed in with "I Fell In Love With An Emo Girl."
JTK got rebooted about a decade later and is tolerable for the most part.
I actually kind of love how the story is written, because like you were saying, it's 100% done by a kid, and it fills me with nostalgia because these are some of the same issues I ran into when writing at that age. It's like loving a child's drawings because you can just feel how enthusiastic they were about their creative efforts.
i agree!! and it's so funny because as a kid who wrote pretty similar to this i thought i would be the next stephen king😂
Exactly?
But what if a 32 year old man wrote it
@@uncoomf3279 That would be a very questionable person
Yeah, it's very raw and just goes with reckless abandon as is the way with most things you do as a kid. I'm very grateful to the story for a few different reasons, but the one I wanted to mention is the more recent Jeff The Killer stories we now have thanks to the original! An author whose name I can't recall but one who is a legit craftsman wrote what could be considered a faithful re-imagining of sorts. The origin of JtK was made into a gripping narrative as the writing has been punched way up but many plot/setting elements remain intact, plus there's a few other stories about other characters that are equally as good. Highly recommended!
Hunter's voice acting is really good. Pulling random accents and voice types on the spot is really impressive.
He steals the souls of those he makes videos on. Its why hes able to do voices so well, hes like the american Shang Tsung
he used to be an overweight kid, he had to actually try to be popular. What i'm saying is: you develop better skills if you need to fit in. I'm sure he was the one doing voices, cracking jokes, drawing caricatures etc.. Maybe i'm projecting, but that's what i did
I love Wendigoon but hunter just steals the show.

He decided to tailgate the guy in front of him, the guy brake checked him and my boyfriend rear-ended him. I like to think the world of Jeff the Killer is just so cartoonishly riddled with crime and 13 year old angst, that a neighborhood where the children skateboard around with guns and knives is considered fancy in everyone's eyes.
I think it takes place in some weird 80s movie. I would think 1950-60s but the skateboard and Aéropostale seems more 80-90s.
@ChillHills I think there's a good amount of legwork to be done in Jeff the killer possibly there's some weird like family things going like past child angst that's obviously there but like I think it's about parental abuse fully because the parents seem to be a driving force of negativity
That would explain why the judge dredd style police officers are just sentencing anyone who confesses in their presence.
Jeff lived in Gotham before that
outside the fancy neighborhoods is just mad max with kids

I don’t know if this is the “new version” y’all are talking about but I could’ve swore I remembered there being a reason for Jeff’s line “go to sleep”. I thought in the story the narrator explained that Jeff wanted to kill, but still loved his brother, so he told his brother to sleep, that way he didn’t see Lu in pain/suffering when he died. That’s why when he kills in the future he tells his victim to go to sleep because the boy telling his story in the beginning reminded Jeff of his brother Lu.

I would suggest those as the creepypastas I would be interested in the podcast covering, as well, but I'm not sure that the creator of those stories deserves the ego stroking. If my memory serves me correctly, they were a complete asshat.
Abandoned by Disney and room zero are apart of the same series
@@Annihilation_Studios Yes. Written by the same person. Who, if my memory serves me correctly, was an emotionally damaged egotist. Granted, it has been just over a decade, and *maybe* their personality has changed, but... I just submit that some caution should be exercised.
Abandoned by disney is a creepypasta I have a soft spot for. It does sole interesting things.
I've been binge watching this show for 2 days straight. Even while I'm at work. Hell, even as I sleep. I love it! You guys are an amazingly entertaining duo and you make my days more bearable. Thank you!❤
I’m ill right now and it’s so nice to listen to the CreepCast while lying in bed, THANK YOU GUYS
Feel better brother
Feel better soon!
omg me too lol, hope you feel better soon!
Me too bro i commented the same thing, hope you feel better
feel better homie
Adding the actual excerpts from the story is a really good call imo.
Also I honestly had only seen the picture and heard of the story but man you can tell it hasn’t aged too well hahahah
This unlocked so many memories, omg. I especially remember the cringe fandom of emo girls writing Jeff as a love interest for their Mary Sue OCs. Anyway, I loved reliving the creepypasta, you guys have contagious laughs! I would love to see you guys cover SCP Foundation stories and entities in a future episode
Nothing wrong with Jane the killer 😂
@@redwiltshire1816Nothing right either 😂
@@redwiltshire1816 hear me out; nina the killer
Scp stories would be tight
Pov fanfics where the protagonist kills her bullies and her parents (for nor reason) and goes to the Woods to live with jeff and the other creepypastas were my absolute fav when I was 10. Specially those ones where most of them are like humans turned serial killers or some kind of idk scary monster and y/n is a cat hybrid with heterochromia and superpowers. Amazing.
I feel like Randy is the kind of person who would get eye surgery instead of glasses because he "don't want to look like a nerd."
This is such a breather to go back to after part two of Barrasca.
Edit: and after Penpals
Literally what I did. My mind needed a breather after that
The worst kind of horror is something you know can and probably has happened.
This is why I'm here ! Just finished both and i am not ok 😭
@@zoulara1012 I was like the thing in your pfp before reading any of that and now I've turned into my own pfp
Hey guys, thanks for the format change. This was exceptionally better than the first go, the excerpts really help with context.
I would also say turn down or even remove the music because it gets kinda annoying.
yeah could do without the music
@@Bob-po2dpspotify version has no music
Wendidad saying “I either caught something from one of the influencers from the range, either that or got shot i cant tell” made me giggle uncontrollably for 10 mins for no apparent reason
The whole Jeff the killer story feels very much like a suburban kid with parents who just don't care, and this was his way of getting anger out, through writing a story that exaggerates his feelings to get them off his chest.
Jeff’s got a feeling…
(Woo-hoo)
That tonight’s gonna be a good night
That tonight’s gonna be a good night
That tonight’s gonna be a kill-in night
The vibes are immaculate during this podcast. You guys rock.
I love the mental image of Jeff the 13 year old pile driving Randy the 12 year old, and then punches him in the heart so hard that it stops. Gave me tears in my eyes from laughter.
i used to read so many creepypasta fanfics on wattpad this is bringing me back to middle school
I love NES Godzilla, I recently reread it and as an adult it's not as scary but it reminds me of a b horror movie, a lot of fun!
This episode is a blast and I love that you guys took the feedback that was given. This is a dream podcast and I hope it goes on forever!
Love how hunter called jeff an incel and immediately thought to use his incel voice from his monster lab series.
"Momma, ooooh-ooh-ooh-ooh"
"I've got a feeling! Oooh-oooh!"
Also, balancing the genuinely liked ones and the goofy ones seems like a good start
Wendigoons smooth and digestive delivery of information with meats voices and delivery mixed with the type of humor y'all got makes this podcast everything I could've hoped for and more! Loving every upload and will continue to click as soon as I see them❤
I’m so appreciative that you guys are going in talking about how terrible the writing is 😂 As someone who was already an adult when these OG creepypastas were coming out, they’ve always stunk of “I’m 14 and this is edgy” school projects that ended up in a C- and a trip to the principal’s office for the emo that wrote it 😂
The C- was only a passing grade because they handed in on time.
@@jonesy279the assignment was one of those “write about yourself projects” you get at the beginning of the school. It’s so obvious he’s Jeff and the bullies are people he knows and it’s the classic “don’t mess with me” moments. Hell they probably said or was going to write into it, “don’t make me angry, when I am angry I see red”
i do think creepypastas, despite how flawed they are, are very charming in the same way i'm charmed by cheesy 90s horror movies, i don't think anyone i know has regretting knowing them, it's a so bad it's good type of thing, even though some of them are actually kinda well writer

I love these. They really compliment each other. Meat for the humor and wenigoon for the knowledge and humor.
“A 9 year old is just a long baby” is my favorite take I’ve ever heard.
In middle school I went as Jeff the killer for Halloween. My English teacher thought I was “gothic joker.”
I mean he’s not wrong
I would love for you guys to cover the story of the orange. I forget what it was called but it was one of the earlier creepy pastas and it was very well written and I think you guys would enjoy going over it.
I believe it is called “the story of her holding an orange”.
@@ozone005 without giving the story away it’s basically about a woman who continuously offers this man an orange in unconventional places throughout his life. It doesn’t sound scary but that’s the beauty of the writing because by the end an entire universe is created. Would definitely check it out.
This one scared me as a kid, I remember my friend and I staying up all night reading it and being so creeped out hahaha
That one is fantastic
Im gonna be real i thought this comment was gonna go somewhere like "idk a lot about it but all i know is that this orange is really annoying"
I remember that one on nosleep creeped me tf out in middle school
This was clearly written by a kid, but I will say, as a writer, the hardest thing to do is to actually finish a story. So good for them and I hope they kept writing.
I’d love to see some meat canyon animations integrated into these episodes. A Jeff The Killer rendition would be frightening.
That's a bit of a hefty load to put on Hunter but it would be very dope
Yeah I was thinking that, like Meat Locker. I think the workload would be pretty big tho
Maybe just a single frame sketch every now and again. Animation is asking for a lot
@@Humble_Merchant The frame sketch once in a while would be a really good low effort addition!
I want him to draw jeff the killer as a redditor
Wendigoon and Meat Canyon reading this episode and giggling like school girls at how the "kid" talks while reading a horror story is SOOOOOOOO good.
Another great episode guys, I love the new structure. One humble suggestion, I think that during the reading portions, Wendigoon should read the prompts/actions while Hunter does the voices. That plays to both your strengths and would be very entertaining to listen to. Just my two cents, keep up the good work!
I second this suggestion, wendigoon is a great narrator and the meat cartoonist does great voices
Excelent suggestion tbh
Jeff The Killer unironically is one of my favorite creepy pastas cause its entertaining from start to finish.
I think I remember this one too and I remember absolutely loving this story when I first read it
SAME HERE. also the mother reacts in very believable ways which grounds it more in reality. I want to own the book because I also revisit it and I want to support the author.
i was going to comment this, this is one of the only creepypastas/nosleep stories to stick with me even today
Love how I can just listen and being able to do other stuff like clean, help my brother or do homework, etc. I always wonder why people love listening to podcast now I see why. Thank you for introducing me to this style of content.
loving this podcast already. it's so fun to listen to u guys ramble
I have been loudly whining about how bad this pasta was for like 16 years.
Thank you for this.
I'm right there with you
The author couldn't even keep the tense consistent. It switches between past and present tense randomly within the same paragraph sometimes.
A friend of mine was so into this stuff, the Jeff story was the first I ever read and I remember at the end I made fun of it so hard he ended our friendship.
Over a badly written self insert power fantasy.

The most I’ve seen it get backtracked is 2002 in Japan, it was supposedly from the ‘Make Me Pretty’ Challenge where the images get more terrifying and horrifying with each rendition. Then it got posted on 4Chan and then the Stories started on how or where it came from.
19:17 “a weird feeling…not so much pain but…a weird feeling” wow, breathtaking
I was a 12 yr old with a butterfly knife, and a switch blade, that I bought from a flea market vendor. I saved up my allowance for half a year for each one. The early 90s were a magical time.
