"The garden is always bigger than the house.". I was raised on an old German immigrant farm in michigan. And yes, the garden was a lot larger than the house. And we had fruit trees and berry vines. And I still remember the smell of canning and pickling the harvest.
I've been vegetarian since may 2019 and I grow most of my food in a containers in Palo Alto, ca where there is no acre to grow, but a small lawn and patio. I'm 46 and have more energy than when in my 30s
@FrugalSolutionsTV It would be good to know if the book you mention is written only in English or has a translation into other languages. And if not, if that would be possible, since not all of us know English that well Greetings from Greece.
@FrugalSolutionsTV not particularly, but in life we go with what we have and do the best we can with it. thanks for your answer, I hope you have a happy new year too.🙂
The Amish vary across communities and this assumption of them all is not factual. I know many Amish who have fallen into the SAD trap and eat A LOT of ultra processed foods. They are also suffering with SAD diseases. Yes they definitely eat more vegetables and whole grains but the rest of this video 🤔
Ofcourse you can not generalize the entire community. But. Point being. Americans diet is not getting enough vegetables and fruit. Knowledge is Power! Find the positive message.

This is how my family have grown since we lived in Italy and now here in Australia and I have passed this onto my children too 👍

What modern science, this is the way everybody should eat,
That's how we eat in Australia age 56
