Nice to see VPG getting some air time. I have a bunch of their stuff. They maybe the most over looked gaming company for the quality of their games. I would like to recommend their Moon Base Alpha to you; it has your Reptile Overlord's seal of approval.
Damn straight. It isn't too much money, it is super cool, has a media mechanism I have never seen, and it is retro sci-fi. It is very much a light war game though. If odds and combat tables are not your thing, it might not be your cup of Lunar tea.
Question! I’m considering a buy. Most often me and my wife play together. I’ve heard this game isn’t great if it’s not with 4 players. Do you find 2 players to work fine? And if it’s lacking, would each of us controlling 2 ships mitigate that? Thanks!
thank you for the review! :D
+PriestBonner Thank you for the comment.
The game is on my radar. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet though.
Great review!
Thanks!

Maybe I'll check it out, RepOv... Maybe I will.

I’ve only played it with four. I’m not sure this is even still in print. Did you find a used copy?
