Timetec 2TB NVMe SSD with heatsink on Amazon: amzn.to/4aIQGaY As an Amazon Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases a small percentage at no cost to you. This will support my channel. Thank you.
Hey if you see my message could you answer me?!!! My question is very important. I will be buying the 2024 Asus ROG Strix G18 this coming Monday, this is an 18.4". What is the right thickness of heatsink to use on the M.2 of this gaming laptop? Can I use 2mm up to 6mm? Using a 2 to 6mm thickness of heatsink, will it fit once I close the laptop? The G18 when folded is 1.21 inch thick! I envy you and happy for you that a thicker heatsink thicker than the one that I want easily fits inside your smaller 15.6" gaming laptop!
@@92OnTV 2 M.2 Slots filled up with Lexar NM790 4TB each equiped with 8MM Pure Copper Graphene Heat Sink, in both sides sticked with cut into smaller pieces thermal pads 0.5 and 1mm with additional cooling the M.2 NVMe is housed in pure copper case before installing on the M.2 Slot. Did you understand my explanation of what I did with my Lexars?
@@svntexmusic6698 nice! It doesn't matter what a15 you have, right? I'm thinking of buying the same, just not sure if it fits well. I have the fa506ncr-hn007w one.

Does an wd_black sn850x with heatsink fit too?
@@svntexmusic6698 I'd like to know this as well. I checked with chatgpt and it seens WD has a bit lower profile than the ssd used in this video.
@@deszaras3 hey quick update, i bought one and it fits perfectly so no problem!
@@svntexmusic6698 thank you for your reply! I gave up and ordered the one without the heatsink, maybe I can exchange it.

Shouldn’t you have disconnected the battery and discharged the device first?
Do you know if it fits in a tuf f16?
