-Blood maintains pH and temp
-Transports hormones nutrients gasses
-Made of plasma(liquid), cellular components (red,white blood cells & platelets)
-arteries carry blood away from the heart
-veins carry blood to the heart
-capillaries deliver oxygen
-heart:
•r deoxygenated blood L oxygenated blood
•atrium thin walls
•ventricles thick
•needs it's own blood supply
•beats 100,000+ times daily
•anatomic differences change blood pathway flow meaning oxygen rich/poor blood can be mixed causing complications

I just discovered this channel this summer. Why couldn't youtube have brought it to me earlier? It is a great channel, and even though I don't use this for school as often (school hasn't started), it teaches me SO much and is so fun to watch. The Amoeba Sisters are the BEST!
I love your videos. They are so clear and I can understand the video so well. Science is my favorite topic so I usually search for science videos to clear my doubts and I'm so glad I have come across Amoeba Sisters.
