    -Blood maintains pH and temp
    -Transports hormones nutrients gasses
    -Made of plasma(liquid), cellular components (red,white blood cells & platelets)
    -arteries carry blood away from the heart
    -veins carry blood to the heart
    -capillaries deliver oxygen
    -heart:
    •r deoxygenated blood L oxygenated blood
    •atrium thin walls
    •ventricles thick
    •needs it's own blood supply
    •beats 100,000+ times daily
    •anatomic differences change blood pathway flow meaning oxygen rich/poor blood can be mixed causing complications

    I love your videos. They are so clear and I can understand the video so well. Science is my favorite topic so I usually search for science videos to clear my doubts and I'm so glad I have come across Amoeba Sisters. Your videos explain in detail without giving the "Boringness" that usually shadows us all when we are learning hard and complicated topics in detail. These videos give a will to learn more and even makes us learn topics befor our teachers even introduce them to us!     I’m so lucky my teacher was a physician for years and did research and she is really great, but having pictures to look at really helps put what she says together! Ty!
    As for everyone that has bad teachers, I’m sorry. I’ve noticed that teachers seem to forget where they came from, and don’t realize that we are new to this and expect too much.

    I'm having online school and today my teacher showed us this video and after the video ended, she asked "did y'all understand anything from this video? I guess no" & then she started explaining about this in her annoying voice
    I just left the meeting and im here again watching this video to understand better. I couldn't understand before cause of my teacher 's screen. I would like to thank you for this awesome content!
