I do the same, presoaking leaves in a separate container to age. This is so informative! Great job, fantastic reporting!🌻🌼🐝 Keep it up 🙌

@@chrislukhaup I would recommend writing your books/guides, getting your copyright of your your writings, and at this point you can make ebooks available on your own site.
I believe in sharing knowledge generously. I am not impressed with how you established a "brand" in Shrimp King and now someone else is financially benefiting from your hard work.
That leaves a bad taste in my mouth...

Really appreciate the natural habitat in the video!! It certainly shows me why they have the colors and patterns that they do. There are leaves in every location. And I liked the molting shrimp shot! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us 🦐

@chrislukhaup what are the shrimp @7:20
Pollution is definitely a problem for all life forms. Some, like shrimp & snails, indicate the problems sooner.
Before I go on vacation, I make sure there are plenty of microfauna growing so my shrimp have access to fresh protein sources.
Adding an extra 2 hours of light for a week before I leave generally grows enough algae to keep them happy while I am gone.

Absolutely loved this! Thank you for all the information!
Just beginning my shrimp keeping journey. 6 months in after adopting a planted tank with an Amano shrimp (a male). Since he has had his varied diet, he's absolutely blossomed! Much more active and seems to be just more comfortable visibly. Got his tank on the mend (the plants dislike our new city water), using easy green and root tabs, finally growing a little algae for the cleaners (bladder snails and a nerite are in with him), and now it just needs time. Definitely want to add a piece of leaf in there for him. With there only being my one guy, not a huge population of anything, should I stick to leaves that dissolve slower or faster? I've been doing good as to not overfeed the tank, but did notice my Nerite getting sluggish a few weeks back. Desperately trying to dirty the tank up a bit, everyone is excellent at what they do. The cleaning power of them all. It just blows my mind seeing it 🥰 Happy New Year! Again, Thank you!! Take care
    💚💙

Hello. If you live in a part of the world, where you don't have acces to banana leaves or such, some other leaves from fruit trees, like apple may work.
I used leaves from my apple trees, that i don't spray.
