Big idea here! Kingdom Hearts 1 without swimming! There’s swimming in almost every world, but is it possible to complete the game without the swimming animation?
Question here: Does Atlantica count? You are literally swimming 100% of the time in that world, and there are no optional worlds if I remember correctly. So do you exclude that, try to change how you move in it, or mark it as a failure right then and there? Cause if you count that as a failure, then the challenge is impossible in concept alone.
To answer Nakazora, there's a few worlds that can be skipped although in this case it'd be "left unfinished" due to essential abilities. Olympus you can leave alone as soon as you get Thunder, everything else is completely optional (and actually much harder if you go back after clearing Hollow Bastion the first time). Monstro you can ditch after getting High Jump. Atlantica can be skipped in its entirety, however doing so means you will mandatorily have to fight the Atlantica Gate in End of World before you can face Chernobog (same with the Monstro and Olympus Gates). The only worlds that can be completely skipped (never landing there/going there) are Hundred Acre Wood and Atlantica. To answer the challenge question, unless there's a way to skip needing to talk with Leon in the sewer it is impossible to avoid having to swim. Merlin won't let you descend into the sewer until you talk with Leon down there first, unless all he cares about is breaking the grate.

Hey Gamechamp3000! I have a challenge run idea for you: Ring Fit Adventure without getting fit. The only rules are beat the game with as few calories burned as possible. Any method to reduce the calorie count is allowed. Also I haven't played the game before, so I don't know how interesting the challenge run will be. If it ends up being not too interesting, I have an alternative challenge, Horizion Zero Dawn with only the staff (The rules are simple: you can only damage enemies with the staff and you can only change the environment with the staff). But, if that's even uninteresting, then I got one more for ya, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe without any button presses. The rules are you need to have the auto acceleration on and you have to beat all the tracks on 150 cc. I have plenty of other ideas for challenge runs if you're interested.
Late to the party but the staff only run is doable but it's extremely bastard tough when you have to fight the Behemoth & the Deathbringers as well as Helios. It's totally doable, but youre gonna be in for a few rough fights XD

I think you can but what is even more fun is to find one camera angle for every level to beat it in and take turns, or have the other person rotate camera while you try to get to the end, makes it much more fun and challenging !

It mostly has to do with the minimal mobility of Toad and the essentially Linear way of beating the game. It is a big iuzzle game.
