    As a older mother myself, Jess soak in every moment you can. I sit here thinking back to my babies and they grew up way to fast. Before you know it they are grown living away. I reflect back on all the memories that is stored in my brain and heart. You look beautiful and being a mother is the best gift God gives us.

    Omg!! That part of the video when she talks about worship is exactly how I feel whenever I am just worshiping and being in His presence. It's so peaceful like you can just feel His protection and that instantly calms you just like the baby is fully trusting that the mother is protecting her🥺💗

    Might sound weird but you sharing your breakdown really helped me. My baby girl has been here a little over a week and I’ve had about three of those lol The pumping struggle is REAL. And you’re right; it’s like the best time of your life but some days are more of a struggle-bus than others. So grateful for your willingness to share your journey! You’re a terrific mum. 💗

    Aww Jess…I’m a first time mama too and my baby is currently 5 and a half months old…and it does get really hard sometimes. My husband is a “blue collar worker” so he works a really hard, physically demanding job with LONG hours. My baby is also just a more needy baby, if I set him down for anything he screams and he refuses to nap alone…because of this I’ve had many breakdowns because it feels so hard never having a moment alone. That being said, being a mom is also the best thing I’ve ever done, I love my baby more than anything in the world and I wouldn’t change a thing! I just wanted to tell you this to let you know you’re not alone❤️ You’re doing great.

      Hey, I'm also a first time mom to a 5.5 month old baby. I couldn't put her down at all without her screaming and then tried taking her to the chiropractor. It changed so much, she would sleep on her own, nap without being held, and could be content on her back/ play mat for a long time. I'd highly recommend it!

    🙌🏼🙌🏼THIS being so real, raw and vulnerable! Being a new mom is HARD. No matter how much you prepare. ITS SO different when the baby is actually here. You’re exhausted, stressed, lonely. But at the same time so blissfully happy and full of love! My …”partner” of 10 years left when we found out I was 5 weeks pregnant I chose to proceed with the pregnancy & have done it completely by myself ever since. It is the hardest and most rewarding thing I have ever done! YOU GOT THIS MAMA. 💙💙 sending you so much love.

  • @Hallertwin95
    @Hallertwin95 2 ปีที่แล้ว +15

    I just want to say you are doing the best job as a mum. For my husband and I’s first baby I was so emotional. I felt bad for having certain feeling and thoughts. It’s completely normal. I wasn’t regretting anything I would never change being a Mom. But the adjustment was like anything something new. And all things are a bit hard for awhile. You have to learn to adjust and adapt to new routines. And it takes time so do not worry or feel bad for having these breakdowns sleep deprivation is a real thing too. My baby didn’t sleep through the night until 6 months! I adjusted and those feelings did get better. And guess what… we got pregnant again 3 months postpartum! Lol it was planned but of course it was a whole new type of adjustment. My first born (son) is now 1 year and 5 months and my second baby (daughter) is 5 months. We are adjusted with having two and while there will always be things we will learn as we go, I am in such a good place. And I owe that all to God and my husbands and family’s support. It really does take a village to help raise a baby. I cannot stress how those date nights and self care time for yourself has helped. Praying for you Jess. You are already handling this so so good! Major accomplishment with the breastfeeding! I tried for the first time with baby 1 and I struggled so much I developed mastitis and ppd hit really hard I was unable to follow through :’( but that’s okay! God taught me specifically during that time that sometimes my plans don’t work out and even though I didn’t understand I knew that he was going to help me with the unexpected change, even if it wasn’t what I planned for my son I knew I needed to give it to God and let Him do a work in me and be open to what He might be teaching me during that time. God made you Makaiah’s mum, it wasn’t by mistake. He knew you and Gabe were perfect to be her parents here on this earth. With love

    Hun Ive been watching you & Gab since you both met! You guys are amazing & from experience in the mom life your doing amazing girl keep rocking!!!! I had my daughter Isabella Rayne on 12-28-21 & She had me up every 2 hours. It got to the point I was sleep deprived, I literally looked like a zombie. I got so overwhelmed I had a meltdown which included balling my eyes out but with all that i love being a mom and id do anything for her. She's definitely spoiled as shes my first daughter 🥰. I even watched both of you while I was pregnant especially when i felt a bit stressed id watch some of your old vids. Tell Gabe he's a great dad & rocking it. You guys are amazing & with that beautiful baby girl she just makes the puzzle complete. Kiss baby from Isabella & I keep up the great work & stay rocking! Much love from Michigan, USA!!

    It's a huge adjustment to have children. The mothers are the one that breastfeed/ give a bottle for the most part. I know some husband's help when they can but as a mother we feel a huge responsibility. I was completely able to relate by giving single moms the credit they deserve! I am a stay at home mom and my husband has two full time jobs. There are days when I am home most of the time and I have a 4 year old and a 8 month old. I go through waves of emotions and it's hard to find time for myself. Listening to worship. Reading the Bible and prayer have been so much help 🙏 us mamas are in this together. You can and you will go through this gracefully Jess 🥰
    We all believe in you 🙏 ❤️ you are an amazing mum and children are a blessing from the Lord. Just soak in his presence constantly.

    Oh I feel this so much. I gave birth to our first child 10 days ago. I love being her mom but I absolutely feel you in the roller coaster of emotions- breaking down in tears for no real reason other than the drastic chance in hormones and feeling overwhelmed. My husband is going back to work on Monday as I’m writing this and I know I’m really gonna have to lean into Jesus during this season. I know I’m not even 2 weeks into motherhood, but I am just starting to realize how important it is to take care of myself first. I can’t take care of my baby in the way she needs if I’m not caring for myself first. I’m saying this to myself too, but have some grace on yourself mama, you’re doing an *amazing* job ❤️

    My husband works a full time job and I stay at home with our daughter, he doesn’t get home until around midnight so I am alone for majority of the day. I have had so many breakdowns in the last 3 months but I am so so so grateful I am able to stay at home with her. I wouldn’t trade being a mom for the world but sometimes the littlest things seem so big and the overwhelming feeling takes over haha. Things definitely get easier as time goes on and I’m trying to learn that she won’t be this small forever so even when it’s hard I’m cherishing every moment because one day she won’t want to be rocked to sleep etc. can’t believe makaiah is already 2 months old and our daughters are so close in age. I can’t wait to see them grow up together ❤

    I don't have kids but I do really enjoy watching you and Gabe a lot I think that you are an awesome mom and I think that I'm as women I think that even not just as a mom I think that they expect a lot out of us but you know we are meant to tackle the world but life can be hard but I think that that you will get through it and I like seeing the happy side of you

    I relate so much! Being a mom is absolutely the best, but the emotional breakdowns when you get a little time to yourself are so real. I really appreciate you showing that. I love that saying it’s so true it really does fill a empty space you didn’t know was there! ❤

    I just love how real you are! Every mum has their break down days but at the end of the day we’re only human and can do our best for our children. You handled it so well and mummy life looks so perfect on you! You and gable are doing such an amazing job and having the best support system really helps! Such a beautiful family 😭💛

    My daughter is 2 1/2 and I'm having another soon. I want to let you know that it's okay to shower and let makaiah chill on her own for a bit. Like I know you know that, but once you let yourself overcome the anxiety and allow yourself the little luxuries like a shower on your own, it feels so good. Even if she's grumpy, she won't be grumpy for too long, and she'll probably be fine once you pick her up, you're still allowed to have your little luxuries 🌼💛 (depends on your mind state, but even if my kid was grumbling i could just block it out and enjoy my shower)

    Please don’t give me wrong. I love Jess and Gabriel. But I got the feeling re-watching her break down 1:05 that it had a bit of a cry for help feel to it. Like, “I didn’t get a chance to shower, I didn’t get a chance to eat yet, it’s 1:30 in the afternoon, he just gets home, and he got me a doughnut for my breakfast.“ And then following with she relates to single-parents. I truly feel for her. She did it in a very respectful way of course. She was being sweet about it saying she does love this, and She’s happy, but it seems as if she’s really hurting. Praying for you Jess! ❤
