We were pregnancy buddies! I lost mine at 14wks and it makes me so happy to follow your journey. I’ve been watching you and have since doing long distance and you guys have grown so much as a couple. 🥺💛👼
So sorry for your loss ❤️ I lost my first baby boy (Noah) at 14 weeks too. It’s absolutely devastating! No words can make it better! It’s beautiful that you can enjoy following Jess’ journey. Not sure where you are in life, but my advice is to give yourself time to grieve and don’t feel like you have to rush it. I got pregnant with my rainbow girl a year later and she is now 3, and I am pregnant with a boy. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of Noah. Having his sister brings so much joy, but it doesn’t erase the pain of losing him. Sending you a big hug!
I’m so sorry! my best friend was pregnant at the same time and lost her baby at 5 weeks but didn’t miscarry till 11 weeks. my heart breaks for you knowing the pain and loss you’re feeling😔💔. you and your family are in my prayers!💛
I swear it felt like I’m sitting with a close friend of mine as I’m also in my first trimester and it felt so relatable to listen to you. So happy for you Jess and so thankful for the pregnancy content you’re giving us
This is so important: girls, women, it’s okay to not enjoy a part or an entire pregnancy!!! That does not in any way mean that you are/will be a bad mother, or that you are ungrateful etc!!! Some women love it, some women don’t mind it, some women don’t like it at all… and that’s perfectly fine!!! After all, it IS a challenging process for a body and every woman will have a different experience with pregnancy :) (Also, it’s okay if a woman doesn’t want to be pregnant or want any children at all. It doesn’t make you less of a woman. :) ) Jess I hope you’ll enjoy your second and third trimesters a bit more and that they will be a bit easier on you ☺️😘 I’m so happy for you guys!!
I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant and I have had literally all of the same symptoms as you have had! Nausea, sickness, food aversions, bloating, dry skin, dry hair, waking up to pee. It’s been wild! Congrats on your pregnancy! 🥰
omg definitely love how you keep a journal throughout the pregnancy and writing even the little things, i can relate as someone who also loves to write things down on my note app. it's literally so fun to look back and to read what happens to me in the past.
We got married the same day (12/18/16) and now pregnant at the same time! This is my second baby and I am 29 weeks (my second girl). Congratulations! You will love being a mum 💕
I've dealt with carsickness my whole life and my mom actually recommended these bracelets called sea bands (aka pregnancy bands or nausea relief bands). They put pressure on a nerve in your wrist that actually relieves nausea. They have been life savers, but I've also realized I get sicker in the car if I read or look at my phone. So happy for you and Gabe and will continue to pray that God gives you both the strength and wisdom. God is so good! Amazing how He's made our bodies!
The bloating is so common! Your digestion significantly slows down because your body is trying to get every last bit of nutrients out of what you consume to provide for your daily calories and your sweet bubs! My husband and I had our first in august, babies are such a blessing, so excited for you both!
I love watching your videos because they are SO ORGANIZED. As someone with OCD, sometimes it’s hard to watch videos that are all over the place but you talk while showing text and it is SO easy to follow! Love your editing and hope your pregnancy is still going well!
i’m currently 21 weeks with my first baby and watching this doesn’t make me miss the first trimester at all :’) congratulations to you and your sweet family!!! this is such a happy time that the Lord has blessed us with, even through all of the symptoms💛
wow i really needed to hear this, it helped me feel so much better about my pregnancy. i just turned 12 weeks pregnant 2 days ago, so it's the end of my first trimester and also my first pregnancy. and i've been feeling the same way as you, nearing the end of ur first trimester
I had a really rough pregnancy with hyperemesis gravidarum, but once you hold that baby for the first time you forget everything that ever happened. I’d go through that a million times for my sweet little one! Congratulations!
I’m so happy you decided to share your realistic experience of pregnancy bc I can definitely relate when I was in the first trimester so I feel relieved to know that it’s okay to talk about the downfalls of pregnancy instead of sugarcoating it as a beautiful, natural experience when it isn’t always the case…at least until the second half lol I’m currently in my last trimester and my love for him grows everyday he’s kicking❤️
Oh my gosh!! I’m 20 weeks now, and I feel like both my husband and I smell horrible all the time😂 i can’t describe it, but every bad smell smells the same like nothing I’ve smelled before.
@@JessConte also, with so many different things going on in your uterus, the smells down stairs can change. So even if it's not enough for anyone else to smell, the pregnant sensitive nose can pick it up. 💛💛
Thank you so much for this video! I’m 6 weeks and this week I’ve been so sick! I’ve been crying, been so worried, and my husband has been so awesome during this time. This video made me feel sane and reassured that this is the process. Thank you!
The dry heaving is worse for me than vomiting. Vomiting brings a relief for me, but if I dry heave, I won't stop til I vomit so I would just have a drink of water to vomit. I was sick all 38 weeks so I'm SO glad your vomiting has eased. Hope the car sickness and any other discomforts leave you in Jesus name!
Thank you for putting the trigger for nausea. I have severe emetaphobia and many people don’t believe it’s real. I really appreciate you for doing this. I’m so sorry you had to go through it
I’m so glad I get to follow along! I’m not pregnant but I am so happy for y’all! I’ve been watching y’all for so long, and I’m just so happy for you! ♥️
I can't wait to see where God takes you and Gabe on this new chapter in your lives. You guys will be such amazing parents and you have the best support group around you whether that's your families or even your fans.
Currently in my 3rd trimester (due in May), and I had such similar symptoms in my first trimester! I remember telling my mom that I can’t believe some women have multiple babies because the nausea and morning sickness was so bad. At the time I just couldn’t fathom going through this again but now that I’m out of that trimester, it is such a wonderful feeling. It really is taking it one day at a time! Much love to you and your family! 💗
I’m also in my third trimester with my second baby and every day I ask myself that question: why would anyone go through this multiple times 😂 but then you have the baby and they are awesome and you’re like “I can do it again”
@@estefir2930 yes! Currently at the end of my first with my second and I had totally forgotten. 🤣 the mind plays tricks on you to have more babies. Can’t wait for the second trimester ☺️
When I was pregnant with my second, I couldn’t stand the smell of my daughter. I had really bad sickness throughout my whole pregnancy and the smell of my toddler made it worse. Some days were worse than others but my partner couldn’t smell a thing. Was so weird. I haven’t smelt it since having my second. Congratulations on your pregnancy xx
Just saw the gender reveal!! I'm so excited for you!! From a fellow mom, You will be an incredible mother!! Praying for a healthy pregnancy and birth for you
This might be TMI, but during my first trimester and some of second trimester I had like vaginal discharge/odor and I was soooooo self conscious about it!!! I felt like I needed to take like 2-3 showers a day, and I cried to my obgyn about it. They kept reassuring me that it was normal and that it would go away, and it eventually did.
I’m only a few weeks behind you, pregnant with my second boy, and it is so fun and exciting to be pregnant at the same time. I’ve felt about the same as you, super sick and just hating pregnancy… it’s so hard… just know you are not alone!
I remember my sister being really sensitive to odours throughout her pregnancy. She'd smell things that others in the house wouldn't. Basically, the sense of smell definitely gets elevated during pregnancy is what my sister used to so. Might help you :) Congratulations 🎉 on your pregnancy 💛 may you be blessed with a healthy baby and may you have a happy pregnancy, lots of love to you from India.
I had the weird urine odor too! I don’t remember it being like a period smell but it was definitely a STRONG, foul odor every time I went to the restroom. I think it dwindled down around 14 weeks. Congratulations !!!
I love this so much and thank you so much for being so vulnerable in this pregnancy! I am so excited to see the little Jess grow up and be like you! I am so happy for you and Gabe! You inspire me so much and I think you for that! I hope that you have an amazing day! Happy Friday beautiful!
I’m 11 weeks now and I’m experiencing similar cravings and aversions. I LOVE chocolate & smoothies and I literally cannot eat it. So sad😞 this is my 3rd and I have two boys. This pregnancy is SO different in every way. Our bodies are so crazy! Love you guys 🙂❤️ congratulations again!!
So grateful for this! I’m 15 weeks and still experiencing the nausea, vomiting, food aversions, digestion issues, tears, etc. Gives me hope that it could still go away in a few weeks instead of having it the next 5 months! I’d do it all regardless, but would love a break 😂
Congrats you guys! I’m pregnant with our first baby boy and I get induced a week from today. So excited to see your pregnancy journey and how God will bless your little family! ❤️
My 2nd just turned a month old yesterday, I’m so excited for you. The changes are hard but its the most rewarding thing. Cant wait to follow your journey
Hey Jess!! I used to always always always like literally for YEARS use the paw paw ointment RELIGIOUSLY and swore it was the only thing that worked! As good as it is, I found another lip balm called Derma Therapy lip balm and it literally fixed my cracked stinging lips in one day. It doesn’t only keep it moisturised but even after it’s soaked into your lips it feels so so soft. Please try it!! You will LOVE it
I’m currently 32 weeks, and I wanna suggest probably what your midwife will suggest towards the end of your 2nd trimester, try papaya enzymes! They’re so great for digestion and help so much with heart burn! :) they have been a life saver.
I don't even know why I'm watching this. I don't have kids and I'm not even pregnant hahaha. Just been watching you since before you and Gabe startet dating, now I just watch every video you upload hahaha
I had that weird smell thing going on in my first trimester of pregnancy with my baby girl called Jessica and I think it is like your PH levels balancing with the hormones or something that can cause it. Mine went away eventually but totally agree it is so strange. Hope you and Gabe and little bump are doing well.Lots of love from Scotland xx
Jess always feels like a big sister when she's talking! Thank you for sharing your experience with us! Btw I read something that there's a belief that if you have sweet cravings, there's a big chance you're having a baby girl! You and Gabe are gonna be amazing parents
Thanks for the warning about throwing up, I was eating and sometimes my fear of vomiting/Nausea makes me feel anxious when I hear ppl talking about it 😅🥰 But so happy for you and Gabe, I’ve been watching since before you were engaged and I’ll be praying for a health pregnancy and delivery❤️
You and Gabe are my favorite youtubers and I’m so happy for you guys! I can’t wait to watch you guide your kids through life and I love how God shines through you!!
This is my currently! I’ve followed your journey since the start and it’s amazing to see how far you guys have come! I’m currently 11wks and all symptoms have been a struggle for my first trimester it’s nice to know I’m not alone 😇
Knowing your having a girl now everything you’re saying makes total sense. I found out I was pregnant October 22, 2021 and had almost all the exact same symptoms. We are also expecting a little girl due at the end of June! My nausea got so bad I ended up having to take special pills that I’m still currently taking at 24 weeks. One thing I’ve noticed recently is headaches more often. Nausea still comes and goes but haven’t thrown up in about a month, thankfully haha. I’ve been watching you guys since the beginning so being pregnant at the same time both with girls is so cool to me. Love you guys!
I was the same way! I hated my first trimester so much! I have a huge fear of throwing up so I was paralyzed in fear of throwing up until about 18 weeks when it finally calmed down. From that point on though I was so in love with being pregnant! We’re hoping to try again soon for another baby and while the nausea still terrifies me I know how worth it it is after. I also had a similar issue with the smell haha! My sense of smell was just so much stronger and everything smelled so weird. Congrats!!!
First of all I’m so proud of you Jess ❤️ you’re such a strong, brave woman! Seeing you this grateful, cheerful and full of hopes after all the miseries you’ve been through… I’m in awe Jess, keep it going 💪🏼💗 All what I want to say is a big THANK YOU for sharing your experience with us. Hope that the rest of the pregnancy will be smooth and enjoyable 🥰❤️
I remember that smell and I can’t describe it either! That’s actually what convinced me that I was pregnant was the persistent weird smell when I had to pee or when I did pee. I was like something is different with my body. So I kept taking pregnancy tests and they came back negative but I was convinced. Two weeks of testing and about 7 tests and the last one finally said pregnant. That smell I know exactly what you’re talking about but I can’t describe it at all.
Im tearing up thinking about how far you have shared all ur life with us, i remember the first time i watched ur video it was about college stuff in ur bag if im not mistaken and here i am watchingthe vid about ur pregnancy 🥺 im so happy for u and gabe ❤️
Me and my husband are stuggling to conceive, and still I find this to be a quality content for me. 🙏🏻 Thank You for sharing! ❤ Sending love to you, Gabe, the little one and Milo as well. 🥰
Congrats 🎊 I am a mother of 3 and want to give you all some advice that I wish I was given at 19 when I had my first daughter 😊 I went through exact same as you with my pregnancies. Everything was sensitive to my senses. I ended up living on Honey Nut Cheerios, chipotle, salads and lots of water😝!!! I didn’t have much cravings because of my nausea so these items were all I could keep down & I lost weight instead of gained. But all 3 of my babies were born a healthy weight and to this day they are healthy young adults & my son is a healthy teen. So, Try not to be to hard on yourself (I wish someone would have told me this) and listen to your doctor and your body. Do what you can and take these next months to just rest and take it easy and give self love. Lean fully on your hubby and family. Your gonna need the strength to take care of your baby when she’s born… your life will be forever changed with an unconditional love you never felt before, keepsake all the memories you can because as soon as you know it she will be a young adult. God bless you and your family. Prayers to you and your hubby and baby girl. 🙏 💝
It’s so exciting to see you on this journey I just had my little one a week ago exactly yesterday and the first trimester for sure tests you. I felt the same way. Every pregnancy is different but in the end it’s so worth it for the little one you get. 💖💖💖
I’ve been watching you guys for what feels like the last 5+ years and my husband and I didn’t plan ours but we got pregnant around the same time! I’m due a month after you!! It’s been so nice to feel like i have someone going through this with me! Thank you for sharing your story and your videos! I love you Jess! Your my favorite TH-camr ever. ♡
I’m currently 8 weeks and relate to SO MUCH of what you experienced!! I started having nausea at 5 weeks and it’s felt like it started peaking the past few days. I haven’t had an ultrasound or anything yet so it’s hard to grasp that there’s actually a baby growing in my body, it really just feels like I’ve just been sick for the past month. The first trimester is SO. HARD. Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️
I literally JUST commented on your gender reveal video when this got uploaded, how exciting! Thank you for taking us on this journey with you (and thanks for making my quarantine better lol!) 💕 also thank you for the warning about nausea - I‘m watching this while I eat and this was very helpful to not wanting to put my food away lol
I'm pregnant in my first trimester, was very shocked when I found out and have been very nauseous and throwing up a lot, ur video made me feel so much better thank you :)
You can get a "belly band" for that round ligament pain! Mine was so bad it put me in the hospital and that was their suggestion for me! I hope the rest of your second trimester is amazing!
Omg Jess, I’m so excited for you. I have been watching your videos for years and I’m so grateful that you decided to share your journey with us. Sending all my love and positive vibes for you guys and your pregnancy♥️!
I’m currently at my 23weeks and having a baby girl too. I could relate 100% with all the symptoms you had on your first trimester. The sore breasts and bloating at first few weeks and until the nausea got worse to almost an everyday thing. I also cried at the bathroom, scolding my body that I couldnt puke anything anymore and just wanted it to stop. I didnt know first tri is hard for some, i thought its just cute having cravings etc. and the smell is real! I never opened our fridge because the mix of smells in it. But i’m glad we’re into 2nd trimester. My appetite’s back and as what they say its the best trimester for us. Praying for a safe and healthy pregnancy to you!!! ❤️
My nausea experience was so so similar to yours 2 years ago. I felt like I had nothing left anymore for my body to throw up. But after it left, I enjoyed pregnancy a bit more. I also have a baby girl
I work at a Christian vpk and my fav part of the day is coming home to silence and your video popping up, So calm and peaceful. I adore your vlogs! I found you guys in 2017 and I can relate to you and gabe so much, my husband and I got married on sept 9, and I believe you guys got engaged, your lifestyle and faith is something I look forward to, I feel like you guys are apart of my young adults group lol!! Anyways this about you so im gonna stop talking LOL congratulations to you and gabe!!✨ so so so happy for you, God bless you guys🤍
Currently 18 weeks and it sounds like you and I had the exact same first trimester. I can relate so much to the nausea and crying in the bathroom from being so sick. I hated my first trimester and couldn’t understand how people go through with this more than once! Happy we’re both on the other side 💕 loving these pregnancy journey videos!
if you get any more sore aches, warm up some coconut butter and mix in lavender oils, rosemary oils, peppermint, any soothing oils that are safe for pregnancy! it helps a lot 🤍 love you jess, so proud of you and so excited for you both!! 🤍
also Jess I love you so much, I have been with you guys since your wedding video, when i was binging wedding videos one day and came across yours…I love your spirit, faith, and smile…And I just pray God really blessed you with this pregnancy….You’re amazing Jess!
I had a very similar symptom with the smell that you talked about! my sense of smell was so messed up. Idk if it was me or my husband but whenever i was near him i smelt something SO bad 😂 but that did go away. noticed it in first trimester. also i can’t burn candles anymore because they were too strong during pregnancy. hated the smell of laundry detergent and other fragrances. things that never happened before i got pregnant!
THANK YOU! My i am currently 8 weeks and miserable and everyone around me keeps telling me to be positive but it’s so hard when I feel SO crummy. The stomach pains are in my upper abdomen and is almost like chest pain. Thank you for making me feel not so alone❤️
About the lip balm thing, I struggle with severely dry/chapped lips constantly. I stay hydrated but my lips are the worst. I started using this stuff called “dermal therapy lip balm ultra moisturising” and it’s made the hugest difference. Lip balm alone doesn’t work for me, this stuff saved my lips and is now a staple for me you should try it out if you struggle with dry lips it’s the absolute best! 10/10 recommend. I got mine from chemist warehouse but I’m in Australia. But I’m sure you can get it online if you can’t find it in stores over there. I double it up with Carmex/blistex and it’s the best combo.
I'm a pharmacy student, and i'm so interested in this pregnany content and facts and i'm for sure going to research the weird roast smell hahaha.🥺❤️ Love you!
Hi Jess, I'm so happy I found your channel. You are so cute! 🤗 I'm finishing my 1st trimester and I can also honestly say that I don't enjoy it that much either. I wasn't as sick as you but I definitely feel awful most of the days. Still I can't wait to be a mum of my little baby girl. Wish you and your family THE BEST! 💕
i don’t know if you’ve ever heard of this but i’ve dealt with carsickness my whole life and the nausea wristbands have helped so much! you can get them on amazon and just look up a video on how to position them correctly. they kind of press on a pressure point that’s somehow connected to your equilibrium! you should try them out!
So funny when you were talking about your sense of smell! I couldn’t stand the smell of my husband when I was pregnant 😅 also, I went from loving savory food to having a massive sweet tooth after having my baby! So crazy how things change during and after pregnancy!
💗💗 congrats again love! With my 1st baby & 1st trimester I was sick for about 4 months ! I couldn’t even step out to the living room, it made me sick! I’m glad you’re doing better 🥰🥰
Congratulations Jess 😊 I had a lot of the same symptoms you’ve had and I have both to my baby a month ago. For your digestive problems, I would recommend you to take colace, it’s safe for your baby I took it while I was pregnant my doctor recommended it to me.
I'm reading all the comments and I keep seeing all these mama-to-be's watching and saying how excited they are to share that journey.
OKAY BUT IM SO EXCITED FOR A LITTLE JESS RUNNING AROUND OMGGGGG
Pregnancy brain is real! Lol it’s so crazy everything you experience when you’re pregnant. Women are amazing.
SO wild 🥲🥲🥲
Wow!! Congratulations 😍
You will LOVE it
still can't believe that you're pregnant 😭🥺 so happy for you!! 💛
I’m currently 32 weeks, and I wanna suggest probably what your midwife will suggest towards the end of your 2nd trimester, try papaya enzymes!
They’re so great for digestion and help so much with heart burn! :) they have been a life saver.
32 weeks too!! I am a walking whale lol (I am measuring super ahead and have GD). Almost there!
I don't even know why I'm watching this. I don't have kids and I'm not even pregnant hahaha. Just been watching you since before you and Gabe startet dating, now I just watch every video you upload hahaha
Thank you for watching anyway, it’s so sweet 🥺💛
haha don't worry, I am too and I don't want kids lol! I just really love seeing all this because i've followed them for so long!
Talk with your doctor! There's medicine they can prescribe that might help. You're not alone with your feelings. 💕
You and Gabe are my favorite youtubers and I’m so happy for you guys! I can’t wait to watch you guide your kids through life and I love how God shines through you!!
Baby girl is already so loved 🥰 we’re so excited to see her!
Oh my gosh no way!!! That’s so interesting 🥲🥲 it’s the weirdestttttt smell hahaha
@@JessConte it really is!! 😣
Im tearing up thinking about how far you have shared all ur life with us, i remember the first time i watched ur video it was about college stuff in ur bag if im not mistaken and here i am watchingthe vid about ur pregnancy 🥺 im so happy for u and gabe ❤️
I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant, and I love following along with your pregnancy! So cute that your mom follows along with the same app 💗
So happy for you Jess! You are my favorite person on TH-cam. Little baby girl is loved by us all
Im so happy for you, wishing all the best to you and your baby-to-be💜
Been watching you guys Since I was a freshman in highschool, I’m a senior in college now! So crazy to see you pregnant. Congratulations!!!
Me and my husband are stuggling to conceive, and still I find this to be a quality content for me. 🙏🏻 Thank You for sharing! ❤ Sending love to you, Gabe, the little one and Milo as well. 🥰
still can't believe all this happening. I feel honoured to be on this journey with you🥺😍.
Congrats 🎊
I am a mother of 3 and want to give you all some advice that I wish I was given at 19 when I had my first daughter 😊
I went through exact same as you with my pregnancies. 🙏 💝
thank you for sharing your experience on your pregnancy
It’s so exciting to see you on this journey I just had my little one a week ago exactly yesterday and the first trimester for sure tests you. I felt the same way. Every pregnancy is different but in the end it’s so worth it for the little one you get. 💖💖💖
Jess you are so amazing and I love how light and kind your spirit is! I’m so excited to see you become a mother! Love ya!
Jess is so pure 🥺 and innocently so funny! I had some good laughs through out the video!😂
so so happy for youuuuuu ❤️
Hahahaha aw you’re so sweet! 😂
I was so excited for this video Jess! Thank you for sharing this with us! I pray for God bless you and your family, we love you guys!🤍
With every pregnancy video I just know Jess and Gabe are going to be THE BEST parents ever. Lil baby girl Conte is already so loved.
I literally JUST commented on your gender reveal video when this got uploaded, how exciting! Thank you for taking us on this journey with you (and thanks for making my quarantine better lol!) 💕
also thank you for the warning about nausea - I‘m watching this while I eat and this was very helpful to not wanting to put my food away lol
I'm pregnant in my first trimester, was very shocked when I found out and have been very nauseous and throwing up a lot, ur video made me feel so much better thank you :)
I’m so excited for you & Gabe ☺️💖
You can get a "belly band" for that round ligament pain! Mine was so bad it put me in the hospital and that was their suggestion for me! I hope the rest of your second trimester is amazing!
I love how your mom follows along with the app! 🥺❤️
She’s so excited 🥲🥲
2 videos in a dayyyy 😭 this day couldn’t get better 😭
Jess how are you so calmmm. I feel like this whole journey of you being pregnant you've been so chill! I wish to be as cool when I get pregnant 😂❤
16 mins of jess?! YES PLEASEEE
The dry lips thing is so real! I haven’t been able to find good lip balm for it but will have to check out your recommendation!
Jess you are glowing ✨ congratulations, so excited for you guys 🥺
THANK YOU! My i am currently 8 weeks and miserable and everyone around me keeps telling me to be positive but it’s so hard when I feel SO crummy. The stomach pains are in my upper abdomen and is almost like chest pain. Thank you for making me feel not so alone❤️
@Lindsey girl same!!! I have been sick since 4 weeks as well. Praying that all goes well and you start to feel better!
What a blessing! We will keep praying for this baby💛 Another child of God to shine in this needed world. You are a beautiful mom🥰
Jess I just love how much you are posting!!!! I am soooooo here for it. ❤ you my sister in Christ 😇
Which app do you use to follow your pregnancy? Congrats on this beautiful journey you and Gabe are on. You've got this!
I’m using “what to expect” ☺️
@@JessConte Thanks for letting us know!
I have been using Flo to track my menses. Haven't gotten the chance to switch to "get pregnant" mode yet
I am so happy soo excited for you in no time there will be a little jess in this world may good bless you with a healthy baby🥺💛💕
I’m so happy for you💓💓💓 you’re going to be the best mom!!
Meanwhile I'm here, completely single and not even sure if I want kids in the future, just wanting to learn every detail just because I love you guys, and out of pure interest. lol
So excited for mini Jess to come!!! 😭💛
🥺 still can’t believe you guys are having a baby girl❤️ can’t wait for the delivery blog❤️❤️
