    Alex Hormozi has quickly become one of my favorite thinkers in the entrepreneurial space of today. I was just thinking about the reading thing, the listening thing… the “I’ve read 30 how to get rich and stop procrastinating books but have not done anything yet” thing….
    And it occurred to me… it’s like throwing water, salt, flour, yeast into a mixing bowl, and turning it on… but never put the dough hook attachment on… it looks like your doing something… but the bread never gets made.

    Lewis: “How uncomfortable do you need to be until you feel more comfortable…?”
    Watching Alex responding to that question, uncomfortable and working it out in head, to grow even more, was inspiring in itself.

    My number 1 mentor is my fictitious 85 year old self;
    it's the only person that I really believe has my beat interests at heart,
    .. and has no alterior motive
    .
    I recognise this, in myself, ans I am truly happy, that there is another person who has a perspective similar to mine.
    I hope that someone may discover a similar source of fire within themselves.

    I was able to scale from 0 to 90 units and creative financing was a big way to scale fast. With it becoming a buyers market and people still wanting seller market home prices, creative financing is the win-win situation. Your price, but my terms. If you can master off market lead generation and creative financing, you can scale big in 2023.

    I like when he was saying “wait for permission. Wait for some one to give you a seat at the table. It reminds me of The Undertaker (from the WWE) when he did his podcast with joe Rogen. He was living in his car, and went and sat in the WWE building asking to get a spot in the WWE and did it for months straight everyday until finally he got to meet with Mr McMan, who told him he didn’t have a spot for him. But eventually he did, and the rest is history. Consistency and determination is key, especially if it comes to something you’re passionate about. He did the same thing over and over again, and in his case, after failing time and time again he succeeded on what seemed like his millionth try. Or even JK Rowling being turned down by 100 publishers before Harry Potter was published. You’ve got to be willing to fail but keep on failing until you find a way to turn that failure into a successful. But if you do nothing, your circumstances will remain the same. I grew up in a poor, dysfunctional and abusive family, but after watching/reading finance advice, I am certain I’ll rise above this and go from the black sheep of the family to the person who will be able to break the cycle.
