Hey Lewis, I need to say that I cannot thank you enough for this channel. About 8 months ago, I prayed to fix my mental health. And I believe God sent me your channel. As a 37 yr old traumatized woman married to a narcissist and unemployed for 4 years, I never thought I would gain the strength to start working again. I was very depressed and had no hope... I was just waiting to die. I have to say, I started working in Nov of 2021 and I am now on a huge mental health journey.. I am a changed woman, thanks to your channel and all of these incredible people you bring on here. You have changed my life for the better. I truly believe I am a better version of myself and I am now on a path to continue to better my mental health. I will one day be strong enough to leave my broken marriage. I am working towards my goals, slowly, but surely. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me. I thank God for sending me you channel. I needed this my whole life.

DING DING DING! At about the 20 minute mark Alex puts into words EXACTLY what I was picking up from his videos (which I must confess I have binged) is HUMILITY. I kept thinking to myself “this guy is so humble for all he’s accomplished and is accomplishing.” How major the ego diminish-ment mindset is!!! Lessons learned. Thank you for a value packed convo, as ALWAYS with Lewis and friends (or distant cousins). Love and appreciate you both and sending vibes for massive success 🎯🔥

A series of moments where we "percieve that life failed us" has us interpret things like, "i'm not good enough', or "I'm alone", or I'm weak, or I'm unlovable - who and what we attach that to is different for everyone. People who seek validation from their father are bring taught the lesson that validation is an 'inside job' and can never be found from "dad" or 'others". That's the ultimate lesson. It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with what "dad" did or didn't do - it has EVERYTHING to do with how we interpreted events and what WE MADE IT MEAN. We project it onto parents because we have no concept that WE MADE IT UP - as a convenient interpretation - and the payoff for the ego is to never have to be responsible for those thoughts - which ultimately is a way of staying small in life - and not having to take responsility for their true power. Ultimately when a parent is concerned and tells their kid what to do - at the bottom of it all, when you strip it all away - all it really means is "I love you and want the best for you" ..... DING

I always believed that moving up into a business (i.e management) will give you a bright future, but the more time I spend investing my time in business models, the more I realize that managers make other people rich while business owners (who also manage people, but on their own terms), can make themselves rich. The risk is losing your business or businesses if you fail versus getting fired from a company for not producing for the business. Either way you are now unemployed. So I think I would rather fail at my business and learn from it then failing at someone else’s business and not learning much moving forward.

"you mentioned you always created something from a lack, but now there ia s different intention for WHY you're building something, what happens when people shift their intention from scarcity lack mindset to growth impact service..."
Well, the thing is that sometimes there IS actual scarcity. You cannot have that OTHER intention up front until (like him) you make enough to have that mindset up front instead of the back of your mind... did he have THAT mindset before he sold and why didn't he make that shift to it BEFORE, because he COULD NOT do it until he was free from it all... he simply could NOT have it in the beginning when he was trying to show his dad how incredible he was.

Sure, he ADDED THAT, but he sounded or implied that he SHOLD HAVE HAD that mentality from the start, like doing it to show his dad was not the right mentality, like anyone should have that mentality from the start...
I like the guy, in fact I admire him for what he's accomplished, but that part he is off a bit. No one can have that mentality from the start, it is actually a LUXURY to be free enough from the grind of daily concerns to be able to have that mentality. Still, many don't even do it THEN after they get their bag.

I guess no one has to write any movie about him lol because he himself is documenting all the progress. 😂 maybe we need a web series on Alex Hormozi with 5 season that documents all 5 phases of his career.

    Q. What are the 3 truths you'd like to share with the rest of the world?
    1. Give first & without expectation, and you'll get more than you can imagine, in all aspects of life.
    2. If you can't do it forever, don't do it for a day.
    3. If nothing matters, then you get to decide what matters, then use the power wisely.
