Angry sugar is funny. But I always thought salt was bitter sugar and sugar was sour salt. Which all makes about as much sense as goop or prestige poop.

Well, yes. It's been used for ages in ayurvedic medicine for all sorts of things... but there's very little scientific evidence that it does anything that it's been claimed to do.

@@coleenparsons4905 Seriously? The Flexner Report of 1910 shut down programs taught by hucksters and frauds, unproven treatments, and schools with poorly trained staff. It brought medical schools into alignment with each other and advocated strong adherence to the scientific method and strongly recommended actual evidence for medical practices. And by the way, there is now plenty of hard evidence in support of cannabis from quality research, the problem there is more of a social-legal disdain than a lack of scientific research.

heidi just immerses herself into her characters so brilliantly in a way that's really rare for these kind of sketch comedy shows, and i love it soooo much
Gwyneth is more famous, that doesn't equate to more talented. Honestly when's the last time anyone talked about a Gwyneth role.

Being a great dramatic film actor does not always translate to being a great comedic theatre actor. The nature of SNL makes it a lot more like performing in live theatre than doing film, and most people on SNL have a lot of experience performing in front of a live audience.
Robert DeNiro is among the greatest living actors for film, but when he has appeared on SNL in the past year, he has been glued to his cue card, and incredibly stiff. Compare his performance as Robert Mueller to his performance in Good Fellas or Raging Bull.
Some actors soak up energy from a live audience and some actors are distracted by one.
I never found Heidi's acting good. It seems a bit over the top and she always seems to be playing the same type of character and using same manners.
No matter how many "self aware" comedy bits Gwyneth takes part in (she also appeared with Stephen Colbert), it doesn't change the fact that GOOP is a nonsense company

If Donald Trump knocks on your door and says he will pay you a million dollars if you cured him of having a small penis by kicking him the crotch - you'd take that money from the dumb rich guy, and then you'd laugh about it with everyone else, because you know your customer base is so dumb and rich that they'll keep giving you money regardless .

A long, long time ago, celebrity cameos were pretty rare on SNL, and were therefore pleasant surprises. Now it happens practically every episode, and has become boring.

Yeah, I kind of hate this, even though I dislike Goop more and would expect to find this funny. I just don't find GP authentic, even when she's supposedly displaying a sense of humor about herself. And Heidi just does the same quavery voice, painfully awkward acting for every character, she has no range.

From viewing some of the comments, I would probably stay away from Goop products. Not much respect going towards GP either. Sounds like she will have to upgrade the ingredients in order to satisfy the knowledgeable consumer base.
Google "jade egg" (seriously), which was one of the grossly overpriced products on Goop, and it's just completely unnecessary. Also Goop advocated vagina steaming, body glitter with actual gold in it, and many other things that are complete nonsense or a waste of money.
