🎉thank you Matt love your TH-cam videos!!
That warms my heart. Thank you for the support.
It means purdy gets at least $60M per.
It also means that, if Purdy wanted to turn the NFL upside down, he could win the SB, have another superb statistical season, reset the market downward significantly to something like $40M per, insist that extra money be given to other players, thereby putting the screws to every other team negotiating a qb contract or who recently did, insist on the highest guarantee in history to protect himself, then recoup the $$ on his next contract and endorsements.
That of course will never happen but it would be hilarious. We can all dream.
Lets go Niners!!
Fantastic plan.
GO NINERS ! 💪🔥🔥🔥
Dak is 2-5 in the playoffs. Dak does not deserve 60 million. Brock will get 65.
Isn't it crazy? I don't believe Brock will go that high, but a lot will be determined by how this season turns out.
65~70 m/yr. 👍💪
@@mattmaiocconflI agree. To be honest, I think Purdy is going to take less than the max so the organization can reallocate that money to keep really good talent. Owner Jed York brought that up earlier this season I believe, getting to know Purdy and what kind of person he is but again I could be wrong. Purdy has stressed many of times that he is the point guard of the team and his job is to get the football 🏈 to the skill players. So I feel he wants the organization to have the money to either get more talented players through free agency or keep the talented players the Niners already have.
Keep it coming Matt. Love the straight forward info. Excellent and with real sources and info
✌️🏽@Matt Maiocco Keep it coming! Niners!!!!!
I'll try. Thank you.
@@mattmaiocconfl Your're welcome. Been following your work long before social media. Niners!!!!!
Keep up the great work, Matt ! 👏
Thanks! Will do!
Go Niners!!! 👍🏈🥳
Thanks for finding my page.
If Purdy has a season like last year he's a bonafide superstar. Right now he's merely a star.
Hopefully motivates Brock even more.
I don't believe that's what drives him. He does not need any more motivation. The dude is wired the right way.
Another great video, Matt. Love the content you put out.
I appreciate that!
Just take care of the jets. 1st goal, win the division NNNNIIIINNNNEEEERRRRSSSS #FTTB GOD BLESS
Cmc for 19 per year is such a steal
I wonder if the league doesn't keep moving the kickoff touchbacks 5 yards each year until it doesn't make sense for a team to do it. I personally don't want to see the injuries from the play and prefer the safer option.
I think they should over-correct and put a touchback at the 40.
Great points on the new return rules. Another factor in kicking for touchbacks is protecting the kicker. Not interested in seeing Moody run over!
Beat the Jets, 49ers ! 💪
It should be a good one.
This QB money is crazy!
Great content as usual Matt, Sub'd! Let's hope for a injury free season.
Thank you.
I'm hoping that the 49ers do a 10 year contract with Purdy kind of like what was done with KC and Patrick Mahomes. Ten years 65 million a year, it will seem expensive now but in 3-4 years it will look like a steal.
$65M? Hell naw. This has messed everything up because Brock is worth more than Dak, he's accomplished more in less time. Dak is sorry AF, and barely deserves $40M per year.
Exactly what I was saying in another thread, niners should be talking with his agent getting long 8 to10 year deal in place so they can keep it manageable and restructure where needed plus that way you don't have to give a new deal in 4 years resetting market again by time big money kicks in it will be cheap contract
Dak has been in the NFL for almost a decade and has proven to be a post season failure. I think where the Cowboys hands were forced is they don’t know who would be next after Dak
$60m per year AND misery, or $55m AND HAPPINESS?
Keep it growing Matt
That's the plan!
I do look forward to these, Matt. Good topic. I think Brock will get 49 Million. Coincidence? I think not. 😂
Oh, nice prediction.
@@mattmaiocconfl He's already got the TV deals. The guy wants to be more than just a regular QB. I think he wants multiple rings. Just my opinion. BCB MVP, Let's Go!!!!
It doesnt mean anything yet. Purdy still has to perform well to earn it
When you're in a great organization with massive talent and a chance to win several Super Bowls, I would look at "future" wealth. I.E. less money, more guaranteed and free up some cash for the team. 5 Year 150 million with 120 million guaranteed sets your family up for life. Get a SB in the next couple years - as salary cap goes up, renegotiate a bit. What just happened in Dallas just cemented they will never see a SB in next decade. SF Fans deserve better. Truthfully, I wish more players thought like this because at this rate you'll have 2-3 stars on each team and the rest scrubs because it will be impossible to build a championship team.
Matt, do you think they should pay Brock Purdy like the Kansas City Chiefs did Patrick Mahomes? They would save more money in the long run. Look at Patrick Mahomes. Now he’s not even in the top 10 of highest paid quarterback.
That's a tough one. If the 49ers try to low-ball him, Purdy (and his agent) would have every reason to be offended. After all, they've gotten him on the cheap for three seasons. It's my belief they have to pay him a fair-market deal and nobody should expect him to take a penny less. But that's just my opinion.
@@mattmaiocconfl What does fair market look to you?
We should be asking what these deals mean and the cost to us. I don't think folks understand the ramifications of these ridiculous salaries. Brady making $37.5 million a year to talk on TV? How do you think he gets paid? Advertising revenue costs everyone with higher prices on everything. But sure, its the Democrat's fault our insurance is doubling when St. Farm spends $1.25 billion a year advertising on the just NFL. St. Farm can't afford to insure our homes, but no questions asked spending millions on NFL salaries. Not just the NFL, Curry signed a $62.5 million extension? Chapman? SMH
Dak was completely overpaid. He always chokes in the playoffs. I wouldn’t even give him 40 million a year.
The guaranteed $$ is surprising
Let's Go 49ers, smash mouth the Jets run game and then Saxk-Sandwich ol'man Rodgers out of the game!!!! Rise 3 Saxketeers!!!!! (Bosa, Floyd, Hargraves, et..al Linbackerz)
if we win the Super bowl just give Purdy 60
Ok , if don't fire coach shannahan
Dallas just guaranteed they wont win the big one for the next 4 years. He is not very good when it matters. JJ will not be around to see another SB trophy
This is absolutely disgusting. Results are what earns you more, not the lack thereof.
Let’s hope he’s like Tom Brady takes gigantic signing bonuses and get some modest salary for maybe 25 million a year
Ummm what?
Seems it’s fair to pay a guy that has gotten his team to the Super Bowl…
Oh wait
Niners win the SB. Nobody will then care as much of what they pay or who has to then leave the team.
Agreed.
Dak's new contract means more broken TVs at Cowboys fans households 😂
Not today.
Jalen Moore is a bust.
Yeah, I'm not sure it's fair to label Jaylon Moore, a fifth-round draft pick, as a bust when he is the team's swing tackle. I haven't seen enough of him in games to form any negative opinion of him. He seems OK to me.
