This season has had bad vibes all over it from the start of the offseason. CMC isn’t coming back, the niners just don’t want to say it. I have a feeling this will be a very long, painful year
These are tough injuries (CMC & Hargrave). We might have seen the last of Hargrave in a 49er uniform. He's expensive next year.
He hasn’t produced much . The Niners will have a whole lot to improve on starting next season . The disappointment is how long will that take ?
@@dannotary951 Fans aren't going to want to hear it but the REBUILD to surround Brock with young good talent has to start _this_ season. Mason will get some good experience this year since CMC won't be returning this season and may be done for as a career. Start the young LBs and get them experience. Greenlaw will never be the same after the Achilles. Sad but it's true. The WRs need experience too like Cowling and eventually Pearsall. IF KS doesn't play the young guys there's literally ZERO chance at any success for this season but especially next year.
Never want to see a guy get injured. prayers with Javon Hargrave.

Cowing can’t be any worse than banana fingers Bell! If he’s not ready, isn’t that on coaching? Kyle should have the best players on the field and they aren’t, evidenced by the loss.

I don’t see a team paying John Hargrave the big money. He hadn’t done much for the past two years. I wouldn’t be surprised if he re-signed with the Niners.

Why does it seem like there is a higher than normal number of linemen dropping around the league this year? Seems like every team and it’s week 3.

This season is cooked. NFL boils down to which teams are healthy. Last year Niners were lucky until the SB. This year not so much.
It seems like the eagerness to win wasn’t there in camp from what was reported, they didn’t have a good or inspiring camp from my understanding

Sometimes I think Shanahan is too conservative. Special teams don’t lose the game - but do. Don’t give the ball back - but do. If caution is your mindset in certain situations sometimes things go against you because people get nervous about making mistakes. Easily said I know but I would have thought doing a 2 minute drill at the end of any half would be the preferred option and to score rather than just run down the clock which I would have thought is frustrating sometimes for all concerned. Difficult days.
That's fine. I'm hoping Robert Saleh is available next year. Sorensen doesn't impress me.
Special Teams has been bad since they gave up the kick return for a touchdown in the Super Bowl against the Ravens.
This feels like this season could be on the precipice of disintegrating right in front of us. Deebo carrying an injury, CMC having Achilles problems, Hargrave done for the season, Aiyuk clearly not close to game shape and his hands are awful right now, Kittle carrying an injury, Bosa and Mooney ward seemingly carrying knocks week to week.
Either be a contender or be awful, there is no nobility in being mediocre. If the vets on the team are carrying injuries, I would rather see players like Jacob Cowing, Ricky Pearsall, Jordan Mason, Isaac Guerendo, Brayden Wilis, Dominick Puni, Renardo Green, Darrell Luter Jr, Tatum Bathune, Dee Winters, Ja'Yir Brown, Malik Mustapha and younger players getting important reps and developing rather than giving vets on the team extra wear and tear on there body. Kyle really needs to trust the youth because your stars aren't always going to be healthy.
Kyle choose Ronnie Bell over Jacob Cowing because he has a year more in his system than Cowing even though Bell apart from one block during the pre season was largely underwhelming. If you prepare these young guys for the future, they can step in when needed, this has always been a problem for the 49ers, they lose a big player and they crumble because Kyle doesn't give reps to young players.

Busted coverages = big plays _except_ if you're playing a system QB who can't function outside of what is supposed to happen in the system (at least from the pocket). It's a dichotomy from how Brock plays when he's outside of the pocket. So he's capable. Kyle needs to loosen the reigns a bit.

If people are not paying attention....it's damn near every 3-4 years this happens to us!!! This is why John & Kyle don't have much time to get a Superbowl...because their contracts will be done before they know it and they'll be a laughing stock of GMs/HCs that had immense talent for years and couldn't get it done!!

The FACT is fans haven't wanted to admit that this team has aged out. They're simply too old with too many miles on them. The core group of players no longer have the physical capacity to bounce back after many years of deep post-season runs. Fans don't want to see what is so obvious. - this team is cooked. They're done. They simply don't have the collective fire in their bellies to go get that SB. They will go down as the most talented core group of players to NEVER have won a SB. Period.. Ever. The team is this broken at the beginning of season .... looking like it's the end of the season.

That shows a lack of experience on Brock's part, but he'll probably throw it to Aiyuk next time.
Honestly, I don't know how to read it. I almost think it shows his experience and knowledge. He hesitated to throw the ball because somebody else might've been in the wrong spot but in position to intercept the pass. It shows how well he knows the Rams defense.
Aiyuk was to deep with a safety over the top Brock saw him to late to get it there..Brock doesn't have a cannon arm:)
Yep, he hesitated long enough to make sure there wasn't somebody lurking there for the pick and by that time, he felt it was too late to give it a shot.
