We’re probably 9-8 or 8-9. The Lions are injured but not so injured as to be beaten by our broken team.

Personally I’d find a way to keep Ward. Then again what do I know. I’d have rotated Dre in. I hate to say it but I think Brock needs to have a couple of really good games. Also I find it interesting that everyone is (mostly correctly) jumping all over Campbell when I’d be willing to bet Trent would be playing if the number one seed was on the line. Not that I think Trent should be playing, I just think Campbell got screwed somehow and they are hiding that part of the story. Everyone talks about being a team player when the reality is it’s do as I say when I say it. I’d also rather they just cut him and sent him on his way and be done with it. These “fans” that keep blaming Kyle’s play calling are truly ignorant and don’t understand the game. We have no players to create separation. When he adjusts to running more plays out of the backfield he has no one there either. You can scheme it up all you want, if you don’t have the players who can execute it doesn’t matter. We’ve had 2nd string quality players the majority of the season. This isn’t high school football where it’s just “next man up”. You’re playing against the best players on the planet at their respective positions. Deva Samual and Hargrave need to be gone as soon as the new league year begins.

Sounds to me like they tried to get cute and screw a veteran player by benching him so he wouldn’t get his contract bonus money. Then got mad when they needed him to save the day. Point being, 9ers needed a linebacker and a win more than Campbell needed the money so maybe they should have actually treated him as a valuable member of the team instead of someone they could save a buck on by not playing him. I don’t know the whole story, not even close. But what I do know is that when employees start walking out at lunchtime that it’s usually because management is screwing them. Fred likely knows the real story and didn’t throw Campbell under the bus. No reason for me to. Then again, Campbell might just be crazy. Course if he was, management would just be glad to get rid of him and not get all petty and try screwing him as much as possible. That seems like a desperate move to me. Thought we had more class than that. What’s done is done. Take the high road. I think they are mad that they gambled on screwing him out of a couple of bucks and it backfired. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Oh well ❤️💛💪👍🏼

I think Bosa wants out. The 49ers are pretty much doomed for awhile, so we should trade our good players to other teams that have a chance at winning a Super Bowl for draft picks. I don't have a lot of hope for the 49ers going forward. And let's be honest, Jed York doesn't have the same fire as Eddie DeBartolo did when it comes to winning Super Bowls.

Yes Greenlaw is a priority. A close second behind him should be Hufunga. Backend communication with Malik and Talanoa was best since Jimmie Ward and Jaquiski Tartt. I would love to have a healthy Emmanuel Moseley back on team as rotational player behind Green, Lenoir, and Mooney Ward. Heck, start if we do not resign Mooney Ward. But that is wishlist thinking.

This is what I find "odd". Campbell a 9 year veteran had to know what he was doing. The day of the game he decided to suit up and had intentions to play. Something or someone did something that made him quit in the middle of the game. Why didn't he quit at halftime. It is my opinion that something was happening behind the scenes at 49ers headquarters whereby Campbell reached a breaking point. John Lynch the GM and Hall of Famer knows how to work the press. Shanahan doesn't so much have that skill set. I have heard that when a player is in Shanahan's "doghouse" it is hard for them to get out. Just like with Brandon Auiyk I was surprised that they resigned him. I knew at onetime Auiyk was in Shanahans "doghouse". I suspect Lynch was more inclined to sign Brandon than was Shanahan. I have always got the impression that Shanahan is not a players coach. He is an X's and O's coach that recently has lost his mojo. DeVondre Campbell being a 9 year veteran may have felt he was not being placed in situations where he could succeed, instead he may have been used as an "scapegoat" for mediocre coaching which has been quite apparent this season. I am surprised that every sports beat reported from the mainstream to the internet has nev er once given DeVondre Campbell the benefit of the doubt to provide a different reporting angle to this bizarre situation.

Jake Brendel absolutely needs to go. Aaron Banks needs to be a backup. Two huge replacements to the offensive line in the offseason.

The worst thing about an attitude problem like Campbell seems to have had is it can spread and infect the attitudes of everyone else in any group, not just a sports team like the 49ers. I have to wonder if Campbell wasn't a source of problems in the locker room all year. It seems like most of this year the 49ers have been playing like less than the sum of their parts. I hope the 49ers can at least use the rest of this year to get back on track.
