a lot of murder cases and drug cases have no proof so a lot of these ppl on the list are inoccent i have an example my uncle (my dad's brother) was behind the bars for 3 years and 9 months the reason was...... he bought a doll from for my aunt (dad's/uncle's sister) so they found drugs specificaly cocaine splattered around the cotton inside the doll and they convicted him as a:drug receiver or seller they seriously locked him up for nearly 4 years so later on they could say he is inoccent which was obvious from the beginning -_- cuz he didnt make the doll

They come up against murderers, thieves, rapists, arsonists, armed robbers, gang members, mafiosos, serial killers etc. If you let these criminals think that killing a cop is no different to killing other members of society then they will all kill cops without a second thought. Society needs cops to keep life going, just as much as it needs doctors, nurses, teachers, firemen etc. If you allow people to kill or attempt to kill cops with no added punishment, then society is in danger. People will not become cops and those who do, will elevate their lethal force responses to included pretty much every situation they find themselves in. I'm not saying that one person's life is more important than another's, but in a realistic term of how it affects society, there are certain people who are more influential than others. We need to protect them. Cops put their lives on the line for us, I think it's only fair we treat crimes against them with the utmost severe punishment allowed under the law.

i have an example my uncle (my dad's brother) was behind the bars for 3 years and 9 months the reason was......
he bought a doll from for my aunt (dad's/uncle's sister)
so they found drugs specificaly cocaine splattered around the cotton inside the doll
and they convicted him
as a:drug receiver or seller
they seriously locked him up for nearly 4 years
so later on they could say he is inoccent
which was obvious from the beginning -_- cuz he didnt make the doll

Cops are on the front line every day of their careers. They come up against murderers, thieves, rapists, arsonists, armed robbers, gang members, mafiosos, serial killers etc. If you let these criminals think that killing a cop is no different to killing other members of society then they will all kill cops without a second thought. Society needs cops to keep life going, just as much as it needs doctors, nurses, teachers, firemen etc. If you allow people to kill or attempt to kill cops with no added punishment, then society is in danger. People will not become cops and those who do, will elevate their lethal force responses to included pretty much every situation they find themselves in. I'm not saying that one person's life is more important than another's, but in a realistic term of how it affects society, there are certain people who are more influential than others. We need to protect them. Cops put their lives on the line for us, I think it's only fair we treat crimes against them with the utmost severe punishment allowed under the law.
