I have a Sonicake Rock Stage, and had it ran straight into the line input on my computer, used a multitrack program, with backing tracks, and it was the best practice setup I ever had.
Super helpful video, as i'm looking into whether or not this is something i'd be interested in buying. I honestly see the boost as more of a clean preamp option more than a boost. Just something flat and loud for when you run the pedal into a power amp.
To me its a bit Darker (when the EQ is Flat at noon). It didn't fit into the video but I recorded a segment where I had to trim the bass and pump the highs for it to really sound nice and clear. Maybe I'll do a Shoot Out Vid?? 🤔 🤘😜
I’m not sure what its based on but if I had to guess I would say it sounds a bit Mesa-Ish. But I could be wrong. Its a lot of gain but its warm and not too scooped sounding. 🤘🏼😜
