    Esse joelho onde vc usa dois enrolamentos acho que vc deveria transpassar essa barra de ferro pós daria mais segurança no joelho pq acho que dependendo do peso q se colocar vai dar ruim

    Legal , parabens , ja trabalhei com um profissional , sugestao faz o eixo central com um peso de uns 300 gramas em baixo , porem tem que regular o cg pra nao puxar a mao para frente , sugestao colocar o apoio de mao mais embaixo , abracos

      See at 0:13 The bolts were put from inside the pvc pipe. Mind the bolt have to be in balance to each other.

      @@gleniocc so there were no adhesive? no glue, no weld of some sort? you just made it REALLY tight so that the bearing wont fall of from the PVC? did you made any groove at all in the bearing?

      @@Zoom2point0 Exactly. Just the friction of the big bearing hold the bolts. Of course there is some bolts to hold the pvc pipe holder. But thats all.

    Não fica solto o encaixe do rolamento no 'joelho' de pvc? É só encaixado, não tem nada preso. Qual o perigo que tem de soltar?

      Não fica solto. Fica preso por atrito.Eu usei uma folha de plastico entre o rolamento e o pvc pra ficar bem preso.

    Guys, Glenio sad he never managed to perfect the balance so there's no test videos for this. But the axis do work flawlessly and the balance issue can be solved in a lot of different ways. I used the steadycam blueprint to have a better idea and got it alright. I used iron bars for the tubes on the body since extra weight = more balance. Also be sure to clean the damn bearings with kerosene. About the lack of instructions... come on! I got it all working just by pausing the video and taking notes.

      Sim joão marcos. Foi só na pressão. Eu usei um plástico prá aumentar o atrito e segurar o rolamento.

      Eles tem cabeça chata. A cabeça fica entre o pvc e o rolamento.

    Where can I buy the materials to build this?
    52mm bearing is impossible to find at local hardware stores, yet alone the 15mm bearing. :(

    o pvc branco tem 15mm de diametro interno. (pvc para água quente). o rolamento grande tem 25mm interno e 52mm externo.

      The pvc pipe was just the same diameter of the bearing. So, it just fitted tight enough and stood still.

      Hi Drack. I made the holes, put the screws and then the roller bearing. It was just tight enough to fit inside and hold everything together. Good luck building your own.

      +Paulo Henrique Agapito - Eu fixei por atrito. Entre o rolamento e o eixo tem borracha de câmara de ar. Dá prá ver em 2:44). O rolamento não é furado.

    não. é um rolamento menor, com diametro de 15mm externo. Achei numa loja de rolamentos usados.

    Did you try and make a whole thing? This gimbal won't work. First the bearing is not secured enough. It will slip away from housing. Second, you did not mount bearings on sides. Third, the bearing in handle will slip away when you put on the weight of DSLR. The main bearing needs a cleaning from grease, which prevents from free spinning. Glidecam gimbal is a sensitive thing you have to make it with great precision, otherwise, it won't work.

      its already two years, but he answered that question saying he used plastic sheet to tighten. as the outer diameter of the bearing is relatively the same as the inner diameter of the pvc (some material discrepancy might made it loose), it only needs thin material to tighten it further.

      +SGD Produções Eu consegui numa loja de rolamentos usados. O tubo de pvc é de água quente, ele tem 15mm de diâmetro.

      Oi Nildo! Um tripé hidráulico é muito complexo e não arrisco a fazer em casa. Os melhores tripés para video tem a cabeça hidráulica, com fluido para deixar os movimentos mais suaves. Mas a qualidade varia muito. De qualquer forma quando for começar a trabalhar com o tripé, deixe os controles de fricção no mais fraco e posicione a câmera no tripé o mais equilibrada possível, e só então aumente a fricção.

    Pelo que vi no final do video, o problema é o peso do pé. É demasiado comprido.. o que vai "puxar" o centro de gravidade mt para baixo do nivel do rolamento.

    tente com um rolamento UC - 208 ´para mancal FL 208 ..... este Rolamento UC 208 tem PARAFUSOS - ALEN sem cabeça que - PERMIte dar o aperto na BARRA ou o cano - alumínio seja ela qual for a Barra que passa entre o rolamento . Ae apertando e desapertando o parafuso desse rolamento vc consegue regular a - GRAVIDADE tornando o pendulo e distribuindo os pesos achando em si a gravidade !

    try with a bearing UC - 208 'to 208 bearing FL ..... Bearing this UC 208 has BOLTS - ALEN without head - allows to grip the BAR or the barrel - aluminum whatsoever Barra passing between the bearing. Ae tightening and loosening the screw that bearing u can regulate - GRAVITY making and distributing the pendulum weights finding itself gravity!
