23:42-23:46 Finally, someone noticed the foreshowing of the episode of the Fairly Odd Parents when Timmy goes into his computer. I bet Butch Hartman himself saw this movie and wanted an episode off that scene in Rocky and Bullwinkle
My favorite part in the 2000 Rocky and Bullwinkle movie when Rocky was carrying Karen Sympathy while they were flying to New York City. I imagine Rocky and Bullwinkle in Max Keeble's Big Move.
Imagine if Mr. Peabody and Sherman (another Jay Ward cartoon) had a sequel and had a similar plot to the adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle but with better jokes and make the animated characters the same and not live action because I don't know what dog breed Mr. Peabody is.
CDI? Because you know if it can kill the reputation of popular Nintendo properties like Mario and The Legend of Zelda, surely enough it could kill the reputation of a classic cartoon like Rocky & Bullwinkle.
The CD-I? Like Animat said; If it could ruin the reputation of Nintendo properties like Mario and The Legend of Zelda, then it can ruin the reputation of Rocky & Bullwinkle.
Yeah...it would've been neat if R&B were animated like Bucky (What I've personally named that cartoon ferret/weasel)...though I think the way they were animated in the final product is pretty cute either way.
WTF?! David Alan Grier from "In Living Color", Janeane Garofalo (who appeared in a few episodes of "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist"), John Goodman from "The Big Lebowski", Billy Crystal from "Soap", Kenan & Kel, Randy Quaid from "National Lampoon's Vacation", Jonathan Winters, Whoopi, Paget Brewster from "Godzilla: The Series" and "HUFF", etc. What, the, FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you think that because of Columbine that caused so many kids films and adaptation movies to be pretty bad in the 2000's? Also, 12:53 Bad Boys (Cops theme song) should have fit this one better then what is shown here.
Y'know, a movie like this could've worked if it wasn't based on Rocky and Bullwinkle itself, but rather its own made up show with similar characteristics. It wouldn't demean the cartoon due to it having its own source material and still give off a nostalgic feel to it. Also the bad guys should have more animated scenes. Plus it should replace the pointless cameos and awkward moments with character development.
The 2D animation actually looks pretty good. Too bad they hardly ever show it.
It certainly would have been a preference.
This movie is actually the most faithful adaptation of a show being turned into a movie.
Just because it's most like the TV show, doesn't mean it works to span the length of a movie.
@@klimmr Even still that faithfulness to the show is actually the main thing that makes this a not-so guilty pleasure of mine.
Boris & Natasha are basically the team rocket of us animation
Rocky: I'm really flying!
Bikini Bottom fish: He's flying! He's flying! He's really really flying!
Imagine if Buzz Lightyear caught her.
Karen: You're flying!!
Buzz: This isn't flying! It's falling with style! *crash*!
It is totally normal to hate and praise Rocky & Bullwinkle: The Movie at the same time.
obviously.
Fun fact: The carrot headed agent is played by Doug Jones the same guy who played both the faun and the pale man from pan's labyrinth.
And abe from hellboy.
@@jasongradyphstiger6179 i know that

Karen: You're flying!
Buzz Lightyear: This isn't flying, this is falling with style!
June Foray a bad actress? I have to disagree there she's a legend!
Yes she is the best
Alexander Ip She's still going too at 98, respect.
She's 99 now.
And she's gone.
R.I.P. June. You will be missed forever.
Good review of Rocky And Bullwinkle and George Of the Jungle. Let's see if you do the same with Dudley Do-Right and Mr. Peabody And Sherman next.
This movie broke the fourth wall to the extreme!
RIP June Foray
She will be sorely missed. :(
AutoJohnny I hope her and bullwinkles voice actor are catching up
Why would Jason Alexander apologize about being in this film.
He's the best thing in this movie.
No, Piper Perabo Is!
Plus, the movie's not really all THAT bad...I can definitely say I've seen worse.

Hey, since you mentioned the "Fat Albert" movie, could you possibly do a review on that one?
Oh my gosh it’s a literal crossover. It’s brilliant and ridiculous 😂
Space Jam, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Osmosis Jones and Looney Tunes Back in Action all probably would've been better if they were entirely animated.
Imagine if Mr. Peabody and Sherman (another Jay Ward cartoon) had a sequel and had a similar plot to the adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle but with better jokes and make the animated characters the same and not live action because I don't know what dog breed Mr. Peabody is.
23:13 LIES! In Season 1, Episode 2, it showed very clearly that Bullwinkle can be hypnotized.
The first live-action movie based on a cartoon where the non-human main protagonist(s) are non-photorealistic CGI.
As far as cartoon but in the real world movies go this is probably one of the better ones
do Who Framed Roger Rabbit!
Yes!

Rocky and Bullwinkle made for a pretty good Pinball machine.
i completely forgot randy quaid was in this

love june foray's voice
Speaking of video games, the part where she's swerving around the dynamite should have those arrows like in Dragon's Lair.

21:55 - The Pottsylvania Anthem
So...Fearless Leader's evil plan is the same as Dr. Forrester's from MST3K?!
Did he review the Boris and Natasha movie?

I'd actually find the Rocky and Bullwinkle movie to be funny as Hell even back then when I was a kid
It's one of those dumb fun movies, and the humor really is (more or less) a genuine throwback to the original cartoon.
20:57-21:07 I Hate That Scene! Love Her Screaming Though!
I'm surprised you didn't mention that Lindsay Lohan was in this and Whoopi Goldberg was uncredited in this film until she was given a paycheck!
Wait. Lindsay Lohan was in this?!? As who?!
4:56 teen titans?
I like the movie
Omg it's the guys from good burger
Oh shit they put cartoon blood in a kids movie

Jenny and tai lung
I remember that movie but I only saw Ti once
Fearless Leader's in charge of ITV?

sad how the cartoon character thing becoming president isn't so far fetched anymore :/
I remember seing this
Rip off of Who Framed Roger Rabbit the toon getting killed
It was more like a poke at Roger Rabbit, especially since they referenced it just a little earlier in that same scene.
I only seen the movie one time and it is not that great
