Porky wetting himself after the giant aliens scared him is a bit gross but makes sense. Him rapping out of nowhere just to make a lame joke is annoying and not funny. In short, the humor here is better than Space jam 2.
Media hunter trivia: Both Dee Bradley Baker (Daffy Duck) and Kath Soucie (Lola Bunny) had roles in Space Jam. But they both also appeared together in the Trumpet of the Swan movie that the Media Hunter reviewed some time back. Baker played the main protagonist, Louie, while Soucie voiced the kid version of Serena, Louie's love interest.
The Nerdlucks have names: orange one is Pound, green one is Bang, purple one is Bupkis, blue is Blanko, and the reddish pink one is Nawt. Also, I like the Monstars theme: Hang Em High. You should review the Tekken animated film. Also Fat Albert.

I was all like What Moon did Swackhammer end up on? That sky of theirs certainly did not have any proper limitations, as outer space cannot be within whatever confines are in the "layers of the Earth".
Space Jam was my... well... jam! I loved watching this movie as child back in the early 2000's and late 90's. The zany Looney Tunes action in a sports movie... it was so much fun! I didn't care much about the live-action stuff with the basketball players, I just wanted to see more of Bugs Bunny and pals fight off the Monstars in a Basketball. I hardly knew that this movie was based off of a series of Nike commercials starring the Looney Tunes and Mike Jordan... or the polarizing reception the movie has... I just loved watching the movie as it was... but now that I'm an adult... I don't hate this movie despite being an objectively bad movie and Looney Tunes Back in Action being much better... it's my 90's Guilty pleasure. Though, I can't say I'm optimistic for the sequel that's in the works... I don't think they could recapture the dumb fun of the first movie... I'd rather have a movie that's more of a spiritual successor to both Back in Action and Space Jam than a full on sequel to Space Jam. But, hey! At least it's still better than Cartoon Network's Re-Animated! Also, I find it funny that the voice of Goofy voiced Sylvester in this movie!
I've always said, the movie is probably more enjoyable if you were a sports fan in the 90s and knew all the crazy details and remaining questions regarding Jordan's 1st retirement. There remain so many questions about it that, if you were to tell someone back then that Michael was actually helping Bugs Bunny fight space aliens... they might believe that.

Space Jam is one of those movies that I liked as a kid, disliked as a young adult and am now finding to be a guilty pleasure. The combination of Looney Tunes, aliens and basketball is so bizarre, I kind of have to admire it for that. It's actually making me look forward to Space Jam 2 just to see how utterly, for lack of a better word, looney the movie will get. P.S., I think that Steven Universe had a similar plot in one of its episodes; Hit The Diamond. The only difference is instead of challenging dumb aliens to a basketball game, they challenge them to a baseball game.
After watching this movie many times, the Monstars would not stop appearing in my sleep, it has happened several times, each with weirder scenarios. And boy do I keep calling the Nerdlucks boogers simply because of that technique of theirs.
In alleged Behind-The-scenes pictures, the Mask looks like wearing a black-and-white referee outfit. In the original, Marvin was the referee because he is both a Looney Tune and an alien, thus neutral. Maybe in the new one the villains might be live-action or CGI and the Mask will be chosen as referee because he is both live-action and a cartoon at the same time. Too bad Jim Carrey isn't playing him anymore.
Why was Lola bunny the only one to show up to try outs? Where's Sam sheep dog,speedy Gonzales,or even that bull that stabbed that one monstar in the butt?

One even Nintendo before then quite cards stuff and full change to gaming. And some of lonely sports card series had real sports star in the cards. Witch most of them in the movie. And for some radon with still dont believe: there going to be space jam movie after very good spy movie. And this series movies starting to look like cars series. Like 1st movie rocks because racing all the rage while when this mov9out sports cards rules. But an odd 2end movie take place. And third the same as 1st movie but wrost.
