Great Video ! Just what I wanted to know. I think ill be able to knock out changing all 4 shocks in a weekend. Do have to ask, Where or what kinda shocks are those ? They look really cool. I was going to buy TerraFirma's

Thanks! The shocks are koni adjustables. Bought on eBay, second hand, but unused, nice in that the down stroke is adjustable without changing the upstroke. In other words it can be adjusted stiff for good handling but it still absorbs road bumps.

2 Words, Axle stands. Well done on getting the turrets off without sheering the bolts off the turret rings.

Pat McMahon Good point. I was being a bit lazy with safety! I have actually got two pair of stands as well!

I just get very uptight after seeing a good friend killed by a car slipping off the jack

Pat McMahon Thanks, yep a good reminder about safety. I guess we all need reminding now and again as its too easy to slowly get lazier and take unnecessary risks.

Great video, cool shocks but shouldn't really use a torque wrench to undo nuts, knocks out the calibration. :-)

GasGiant62 Probably ok if not too much torque and it doesn't bend. The worst thing for torque wrenches is putting them away with the torque set to anything other than zero, as leaving the internal spring compressed will slowly make it go out over the years. I just found out mine was 20lbft out. It is quite old. I've just done another youtube video on dismantling and calibrating a torque wrench, it's on my channel comeinhandynow.

make sure to soak everything in penetrating fluid before hand to stop the bolts snapping on the turret top
