always appreciated when a review compares with a previous version, that way you can clearly see what the new one brings to the table
These Robot Spirits are almost like painted kits.
I, too, am slowly building too large a collection of the Mk II, and these figures ensure it won't stop. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Katoki went ahead and did a Ver.Ka of the suit before long. I imagine he could work wonders to incorporate the PG kit's interesting leg gimmicks at the smaller scale while making it work better.
But yeah, I recently discovered this Robot Spirits fig and thought it a shame it wasn't the AEUG, but lo and behold, they announced it right after. It and the old HG from 2001 made me realize that the newer Revive version has some wonky proportions that kinda sour how I feel about it. The anime aesthetic is truly peak Gundam, and I'm overjoyed to see we're getting it in this line.
You gotta do the Blue Destiny Unit robot spirits kits, especially that efreet custom with the special effect parts all in one!

Nice i have a MK2 RG fm jp lights up. Had it for 3 years I love the Gundam even though i love GM sniper 2 rockon Adam 😎👍
I personally prefer ka sig and metal builds for the higher detail level. But i think its really cool the ver anime line does so well at looking like the show. The show was just not detailed enough for me :) the 0083 ones are pretty good though.

My issue with this Titans version is that the shield is only one color but the AEUG version is two tone. Why, Tamashii nations?!
The lineart for the titans Mk II shield only has it as one color
@@MrRe-pg7fj seems like you're right. This is the first time that I'm not a fan of the anime accurate design. Just reminds me of cost-cutting measures.
Ver Anime is more human proportioned in that it's longer in its limb and torso.
