what are the missions like?

I wanna get my hands on a Gundam EX but my local shops aren't gonna get it until either next month or Q1 next year. Note that I'm not in the US so things don't operate the same, plus shipping and handling from the US would be expensive (which is why P-Bandai kits are 3 times the price here). Sometimes I wish I was living in Japan so that I wouldn't have to deal with this sort of thing and get what I want immediately XD

I have never owned the granddaddy of gundam, but I really love the HG revive of the rx78 i just love how sleek and simple it looks. Plus its really cheap i am thinking of getting as my 3rd gunpla kit (my first kit was aerial rebuild and my second was aerial) I dont know if it you can count it, but i really love the RX-78(G)E i just love how menacing it looks and how much detail it has.

I would have to say that, overall, my favorite is the RG 2.0. That said, I think I prefer the decals on the RG 1.0. I also think it would be cool to see the Recirculation Colors, American Type, and G-3 be made into variants of the RG 2.0, even though they would probably end up as Premium Bandai exclusives.

For me the best RX78-2 is the MG 3.0 solely because it got me back into building gunpla after taking a 15 year break

You put the lobby to private, that's why there's no one there Also the spots to shoot are where ppl would/might be if the lobby was full so you could get some kills

Great review. I loved my OG Sinanju Stein Ver Ka from like 2013. It was a super solid kit and really would like to build the narrative version at some point.

Wow. As someone who was really looking forward to this (there was a decent amount of hype around it, even if details were very sparse) I am definitely left pretty underwhelmed. I seem to be in agreement with everyone else here. After that COD Warzone collab they did a while ago I was expecting at least some cosmetics (skins, weapons, emotes, stickers) and they definitely would have gotten my money if that had been the case. No knock to devs who worked on this whatsoever, it's cool for what is it, but I feel like this was just a very meek attempt at a game collab on Bandai's part.

A 1/18 size Gundam would be as tall if not taller than a full grown man depending on the suit😂 it’s a cool idea but very impractical

Well its neat they are adding like they did with COD Warzone. More attention, the better. I don't think it feels like gundam either. They could have added like Gundam style weapons or pilots

same reaction i had, complete waste of resources and hype should have just given us cosmetics. this mode is as half baked as the face animations in the series poor showing by bandai

That looks dope! I've never owned a Grandaddy Gundam kit. But based on the ones you've shared, I'm leaning towards the Origins. It just looks cool and super detailed like the 2.0 but kinda like the whole unit itself was from a more realistic leaning series. Which makes sense given its from Origin haha

It's not really a original Gramps but my favorite is the MG AMAZING RED WARRIOR GUNDAM GBF. I'm a hugeee Meijin Fan and getting that is so worth it and not a single dollar wasted. I even pulled off a one hand stand with it and called it my signature "Sensei Pose" lol. I can show evidence just let me know lol. But anyway, YES! That kit is sooo S-O-L-I-D! The fact it can one hand stand makes that 2.0 hands the best so far out there! The Red Warrior just has that unique sleek look to it without not recognizing it's still the classic RX-78-2. It's like if in a fantasy world RX-78-2 for rose from death! And don't get me started with the large weaponry it has!!! So totally worth it of a kit! Nothing loose at all!!!

wow you have a lot of RX-78-2, my most favorite one is the origin version, I am a bit mixed between this ver 2, the details are more present

I played it as well and found that the map itself is buggy and has invisible things that block shots all over the place. Riot shield runs into something like every one step when sprinting with it. I played a full lobby and its fun but watching your shots not shooting at your target is annoying.

Honestly we need a UC Gundam series that goes over all the lore. What people are feeling on earth, Info on the politics, colonies, state of society, numbers, stats on technology, info on the different branches of the military etc… That would really help flush out everything and give this universe a deep Star Wars like lore to it. I would be completely enthralled if they would do that. Great video.

What was the speed of the colony when dropping? A key variable is not been considered at all.

I had no idea what was going on but I enjoyed it for the spectacle, they did a really good job communicating scale and making the Gundam very menacing. This felt like a Monster movie.

honestly as a gundam and fortnite fan, I would have rather had some gundam cosmetics instead. The gamemode is cool, but it is isn't much with the limitations of fortnite's creative system.

My favorite would be the hg revive actually, mostly because it was my first kit, i get the thing that some people dont like the slight "minty" white but i dont mind since its more close to the og animation

My favorite iteration of the RX-78-2 Gundam definitely has to be the beyond global gundam. It has such interesting de saturated colors and redone proportions. It's such a brave move for a 40th anniversary celebration and I'm so glad that they went for it
