In dating a superhero there 50-50 chance of you getting horrible murdered by a super villain or a hell of lot of trama from near death experiences so keep that in mind.
Another important note:
If you're a super hero and by chance you end up dating someone else who is also a superhero, who's top and who's bottom is determined by power scaling

I thought the main thing with a secret identity was so the closest people to you dont get purposes targeted by the villains
That and not burdening the closest people with your secret that they now have to help you hide.
Also if it's a crush, things could end with that relationship. Possibly badly. And now you've got someone you don't associate with that knows your secret and might just be bitter enough to turn on you over it. Blackmailing you. Revealing it to people. Etc.
It's a blursed mixing between being trust issues and not wanting to in some way put people in harm's way.

Blessed: Not wanting to put people in harm's way. Shows that you care about the people close to you.
Cursed: Trust issues. Shows that you don't trust your friends or even loved ones enough to let them know your secret, which would be beneficial for them since they don't have to worry about where you are when you disappear and "abandon" them
Blursed: Part of the reason is righteous, not wanting to get others caught up in your new life, while other part is not seeing them as close enough to let them know the truth of why you're never around when they need you. Keeping the identity is coming from both a good place and a bad place.

She was so bad that S2 unceremonially soft-rebooted her character.
Probably one of the least controversial cases of the girlfriend of a superhero chewing him out (probably because the show isn't that well known) would be on Stretch Armstrong And The Flex Fighters. I'm not talking about the main character of Jake/Stretch Armstrong. I'm talking about one of his friends, Nathan Park/Wingspan (voiced by Steven Yeun). Spoilers will be revealed.
He's the boyfriend of a girl named Erika (voiced by Felicia Day), and she's generally pretty nice. However, she feels that he's not being committed in their relationship since she doesn't know that he keeps blowing her off to do heroics. At the end of the episode "Dreamscape", when Nathan confesses that he's been blowing her off because he's a superhero, she chews him out for being a criminal. That sounds harsh, but in context, it makes sense. In the season 1 finale "The Age Of Flexarium", billionaire Jonathan Rook, who helped out the Flex Fighters in being seen as heroes, is revealed to be the villain Stretch Monster, who's been creating an army of Flexarium monsters. In order to not be seen as a criminal, he frames the Flex Fighters for creating the army and makes them wanted criminals in the city. As such, Erika's reaction makes sense since she though that she was dating a criminal. In the episode "Riya's Revenge" (which aired right after Dreamscape), she was starting to have second doubts about if Nathan was really a criminal. As such, she secretly followed him and the other Flex Fighters to find out the truth. Long story short, after the adventure, they see that she was following them and she finds out the truth about them being heroes that were framed by Rook. As such, she sees that she was wrong and does what she can to help the Flex Fighters in the remaining episodes of the show.
Actually, there is another method. Be a supervillain who scares the hell out of every other villain so they don't dare touch you and secretly be your superhero's nemesis who boosts their reputation. If you happen to join a supervillain council, put in the policy of, "Let's not tempt fate by attacking superheroes' families, friends, and significant others because if we remove that one ray of sunshine, the hero may kill us."
Reference on the policy: Young Justice (It kept half the villains alive lol)
This is also how things work in the book series Wearing the Cape. Its not actually all that hard to determine a hero's identity, but both villains and the press have agreed to keep it to themselves because the press gets blacklisted by all heroes if they leak identities, and villains tend to go missing if they exploit them. Even law enforcement has basically agreed that if you exploit your knowledge of a hero's secret identity, you kind of have coming whatever happens next.
