Thanks for the video. You have just convinced me to get the van spray foamed. Sound deadening, insulation and vapor barrier all in one. Along with a higher R value. I doubt there is much init regarding cost either. Good luck with the rest of the build.
Had mine spray foamed. It's faster, more cost effective, provides top level sound proofing/anti rattle, airtight vapour barrier and highest R value available. Can't fault the results.
Really enjoying your content, super entertaining and you seem like you are genuinely decent as a human too! Currently planning my own van conversion for various reasons and I was wondering with regards of sound Deadening have you also put any inside of the front doors and wheel arches or just in the living area?
Great video, That glue really did explode didn't it, I can't believe you laughed lol i would have cried if it were me, It was funny seeing you limp round with your oui ja mat stuck to your foot though lol, Chin up Richard your van will be done before you know it, Can't wait for your next video now, Take care 👍
Hi mate I’ve found something worth you taking a look at .you know you said in one of your videos about the side pods to extend your legroom, and they were coming up for £1000 each well I’ve come across a company you may have heard of them or not they are called A2B conversion and there prices are really cheap worth taking a look. Can’t wait for next part of the new van build 👍
I just bought the cheaper version than Dodo, hoping it is as good. Lining my miniature camper in a Peugeot Bipper, 5 ft long back space! and I'm 5'5" so..drop flat front passenger seat also required, don't know where to look for that - second hand of course, being currently skint. I didn't get a roller! I have a small round piece of wood though... I thought you took the glue incident very well, hope it's not to tricky to get off everything!
Hi watch all your videos all the tips and hints are very helpful. Can you help me I’m trying to add a C1 category to my driving license through grandfather rights but I don’t know how to do that could you give me some information how to do that all the best regards Dave

Don't suppose you want to share what it cost, like ballpark figure? I'm looking at a Duc/Box L2H2 van.@@lincolndave1966able
Mate, you are like the Norman Wisdom of van building ........enjoy watching you though
That is funny. 😂😂 entertaining to
Surely the sticky foam stuff is just the same as the sound pads. So why do people use both
Your right, TBH most people don't use both, only TH-camrs who are advertising a product or know nothing but are trying to sound clever use both.
You should add a log burner.

Closed cell spray foam does both and no chance of condensation, but you do you as free is good.

Can only imagine the work you had to put it to remove the black glue residue 🤪

Lol, most people say to use the correct amount of sound deadening material. You must have been thinking about the vapour barrier that looks the same.
