Thank you so much for sharing your talent and experience! I'm working on my first reupholstering project, and wanted to change how the front of the arm looks. This couch has the exact arm look I want. Now I have the confidence to keep going.
I love your work.. I'm gonna start reupholstering an old sturdy sofa bed couch... My grandma gave to me... I've been watching ur videos for ideas.. They're so instructional and excellent... Also working on a recliner thanks so much for the inspiration!!
Love your work I've done three sofas and I had no knowledge of what I was doing but definitely I got better and by looking at you I've learn where my mistakes were thank so much, and us till learning.
this is intense...but inspiring. I may give it a go..someday. This is what the other 'DIY upholstery' youtubers need to watch and see the RIGHT way to do it. Beautiful work.,
Well the difference is, most of them are just normal people who do this as a hobby, this guy is very obviously a professional, so his quality of work is off the charts. That's why he's paid well to do this and those people are just giving their furniture a face lift (usually not even properly).
i think you are simply the best. i love your videos. if you have a web site, post it. i would like to know the name of the fabrics and other genders you use to upholster
You do such an amazing job on all the work you do. Love watching you do them all. I want to do my sofa but, I need to know what is the name of the glue you use on the foam and what size staples you use on the sofa. Also where do I buy the card board strips? Can you also tell me where I can buy the sofa fabric. Thank you
Your Videos area really awesome. I am redoing my daughters room and I took a cheap 2nd hand cane back chair and reupholstered it. Turned out beautiful. Thinking of doing a tiny couch for it too. How do you do you determine how much fabric you'll need?
Wow he never answered! I hope you figured it out. I believe you measure every section and add a 2 feet for a plain fabric and much much more for a patterned fabric. Because you need to match the pattern and it takes a lot more fabric.
I've been watching your videos as I'm trying to teach myself upholstery. My big problem is where I get to the part "find where the wood is, cut straight and then a 'v'". I'm making a mess of interior corners. I'm sure I'm getting it wrong.
Another great video, man. I do have to ask, how much does this cost? I'm thinking of reupholstering an old couch of mine, and would just like a ballpark figure. As always, keep up the good work. Much love from San Diego.
What is the name of the staple gun you use and what size staples? Also the name of the glue gun and glue you use? Can you please tell me.I would Greatly appreciate it.
You're a master! I love how you did that! I was given a large leather arm chair. The owner's cat used the arms as scratching posts. Do you think I could get away with covering the leather with foam and then fabric, or do I have to remove it? BTW, what is that fabulous fabric used in this project?
hey folks just take apart your old couch and use the cloth as a pattern for your new cloth, it's not that hard, the hardest part is buying the cloth, they don't give it away!
ALO I have a very fancy sweigert sofa that has wings for arms. It needs upholsteringing but not sure how complicated it might be. Any suggestions? It's very art neuvo ,I am sure you're familiar with the style. Want to do myself but intimidated by it. Can't afford to have someone do it. Any help would be appreciated.
