Your cameo inspection saved her a lot of money!

That roof should become its own training video. Absolutely wild. I have to imagine it’s like not looking under a car when buying one-it’s easy to just see the outside and assume all is well.

Exactly! You have no idea sometimes what is hidden on a roof or under a vehicle!!

Hunny, let's take it for a test drive. You drive and I'll push.

I can't believe that someone would even try to sell that thing. Thanks for helping them. Don

I know! It should just go straight to the junk yard. Haha!

I am so sorry to hear your RV was totaled in the storm (Creativity RV). A terrible disruption in one's life to have their home destroyed.
Wow! That Kingston is a disaster!! Always pays to get an inspection if you know nothing about RV's; even if you are experienced. Thanks for the video Deb. ✌☮

You’re welcome and yeah it is unfortunate but I’m keeping her! The roof is just really dented but everything else works. Just a lot to go through with insurance.

I am interested in learning how to inspect various systems in my motorhome by watching you inspect and identify issues in other units. I’d appreciate a little more time showing and explaining what you see. The roof and interior shots were interesting but too short to understand what I was seeing and the issue you were describing. Maybe more pointing to the issue you are describing like peeling wallpaper vs rot in this unit.

Great!! I’ve thought about offering a series on how to inspect an Rv. Also thought about a course in it. I’m glad you gave me this feedback. Thank you!

Morning Deb, in all fairness to the seller, he wasn't trying to sell it when the buyer approached him.
I guess the seller might have been thinking if she's crazy enough to want it after looking at it the first time then what the heck, maybe she's got a DiY family member that is going to do a restoration of it for a profit.
It happens, but in this case, not so.
Bottom line, it's going to take at least $10K to drive an RV across country, be it one for $3K and $7K in work or one for $10K and some elbow grease.

Hi Mike! Yes, I agree and while I was there the son in law of the actual owner was the one with us. When I pointed out everything he agreed and knew it was junk. The buyer wanted it so badly that I think he just said “well ok!” Haha!

Wow what a shame, that's the worst roof I've ever seen 😱.
Seriously the roof would probably collapse while driving it. Wonder how many years it's been just sitting in that driveway. And I wonder how many miles it actually had on it, although i betya it wouldn't even start lol. 🍻

It was shocking to see! Haha! I think they said it has been sitting a few years because the guy who used it became older and he just stopped driving. It seemed like it had been stored in a field just collecting water rotting out the whole inside. I can’t imagine traveling in that!!
