Correction: The GTS 2 Mini does come with GPS (2-satellite). The GTS 4 Mini comes with upgraded GPS (5-satellite) and a circularyly polarized antenna tech for better accuracy.
It also has zepp os rather than typical os on mini 2 ??

did gts 4 mini have interval running?
I have the GTS 2 mini and the GPS is hopeless. Loses connection repeatedly and gives you very wrong distance readings. I went on a hike to a mountain. On paper it was about 10km distance. My friends with garmin and other watches plus my own Samsung phone tracked between 10.5-11.5km distance. Fairly consistent. Guess what distance my GTS2 mini measured? 21km !!!! The GPS is way off till it is useless. I hope the gts 4 mini has improved.

I have an old Amazfit BIP and the battery life is amazing. It is a very good watch for the money but the GPS stopped working. The GTS 4 mini looks really good for the money and I'm glad that you mentioned the GTS functionality. The GPS in my Garmin watch locks on to satellites really fast and I'm glad to hear that this watch connects quickly as well. Thank you for the video.

I bought a huawei watch fit. I often go hiking and hill / mountain climbing and I was disappointed that the Huawei Watch Fit does not have barometer function for altitude. So I got the Amazfit GTS 2 mini which has a compass plus an altimeter. Very good. Problem is, the GPS connection is broken easily and it gives very erroneous distance reading. Like totally way off. Example: Hike up and down Bukit Kutu is about 11km using most other gps watches but the GTS 2 mini gave a 21 km reading. It is one way to make you feel good about yourself. Basically the GPS connection sux. OK then i just bought the GTS 4 mini with improved GPS connection. So i thought it will be the perfect watch for me… no…they removed the altimeter function… you will never win buying this kind of watches. I give up.
Could you please give more information about notifications? Many people buy smartwatches just for the notifications' features they offer. I am one of them. I would like to see how do the notifications appear, are the apps' icons shown correctly etc. Otherwise an awesome video as always!

I have the GTS 2 mini and it's a great watch. But recently the battery life has not been that great. Nevertheless I still like the small and compact design of it.

GTS 2 mini has crappy GPS and altimeter.
GTS 4 mini has slightly better GPS but no altimeter.
I prefer GTS 2 mini gave my GRS 4 mini to a friend. Without altimeter, this is useless to me

Would I be able to track my child using this watch? Most watches either require a SIM card or can only track within a few meters using Bluetooth. Can the watch be linked to more than one phone and can I track the watch from my phone even if it's miles away using the GPS feature?

Thanks for the review. But it's hard to really justify an upgrade. I still have the original Amazfit GTS, but I absolutely see no reason to upgrade to newer versions based on features and specs.
I know for a fact gts 2 mini was absolutely useless in regards to gps hence they upgraded it to 5 satellite connections in the gts 4 mini. They should actually upgrade it to 10 satellites .
I think many ppl will be interested in the 24 hour monitoring of HR, SpO2 etc in newer versions. I think GTS 2 mini has PPG 2.0 sensor, while 4 Mini has PPG 3.0 and the bigger ones have PPG 4.0 sensors. 24 hour tracking of SpO2, e.g. for someone curious about sleep apnea is available only in PPG 3.0 onwards.

@@jesuschrist8424Definitely a yes but not unless you want a newer OS, more sports mode but the rest is basically the same minus the speaker. While the speaker is not that audible in noisy surroundings but it's pretty handy when you can't answer the call from your phone and the price has gone down now so why not
