I've had a couple of Amazfit BIP generations and a Mi band or two. You had to set the wearing direction for all of them in the Zepp or MiFit apps (to indicate whether you're wearing them on your left or right wrist). I've not been able to find this setting anywhere for the Amazfit GTS 4 mini - neither in the Zepp app or in the settings on the watch itself. Have Amazfit eliminated the need for this setting in this new generation?
@@FishBeeProductions funny. The setting seems to still have been available/required on the GTS 3. I'm guessing they've figured out how to sense the direction on their own in this generation, or have made the heartrate/stress/blood oxygen/activity tracker oblivious to particular wrist. Wish they'd mentioned it in documentation, if only to avoid unnecessary worries for those of us used to having to set this on previous Amazfit devices.
And, just in case somebody else is confused about this going forward, I ended up receiving official confirmation from Amazfit that this setting is no longer available or necessary for the GTS 4 mini. Its sensors wil apparently work reliably, regardless of the wrist it's worn on. PROGRESS.

Question for you. I got one of these my only issue is I happen b above the weight on the app. So health features basically pointless right ? Like heart rate etc
Usually the heartbeat meter isn't quite accurate on these Amazefit watches. Btw first time seeing your reviewing these... keep up the good work mate ;)
All fitness trackers used to have worse sensors in general. I used to work at a gear shop for many years that sold Garmin. It was nice seeing them get so much better; crazy that watches at a $100 price point are these decent.
I wanna know one thing and cant get an answer. Does it - cant it be a odometer for a bike ride. You know distance traveled in miles and then reset. Does anyone know if you can do that without a phone synced to it?
@@mindme7674 That’s because the series 3 is actually a smart watch with an actual operating system, whereas the amazfit watches are more of fitness trackers lol. Nearly All proper smartwatches only last for a day or two
Great Video!!! 🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️ I got mine from a local pawn shop EZ Pawn yesterday it was $90.00 on it and I thought I looked at it no I'll pass on it but then after my twin son was looking for a small laptop for himself the store employee told me how about $60.00 plus tax I told him yes so I got it for $65.24 it's the midnight black color with a small scuff scratch on the upper right side of the screen but it works and I got a really good deal on it too!!! 😁⌚️❤️
Do you know if I can sync my Spotify to this? I saw it said "music", but I wasn't sure if that's gonna end up being a whole separate app. And if so, would I be able to adjust the volume?
Would I be able to track my child using this watch? Most watches either require a SIM card or can only track within a few meters using Bluetooth. Can the watch be linked to more than one phone and can I track the watch from my phone even if it's miles away using the GPS feature?
The music control is not working on my amazfit gts 4 mini smart watch. I can only charge song. But nothing else like volume up or low not even pause button is working!! What can i do now??

usually with the regular GTS versions you get more features but so far i've only tried this mini version. With the GTR round models you usually get better battery life although this gts mini 4 has really good battery life already.
but it doesn't seem to have sound, had to turn on enhanced vibrate before noticed the alarm. Still good watch but really irksome - please correct me if I am wrong
Had one of these. Didn’t last a year 😢 My recommendation save your money for samsung or Apple Watch… more features and higher quality 😊Its a night and day difference

They must have. I didn't see that when setting up either.
