Love this car! I’m turning 21 in February and thinking my buying one out right. Was thinking the 4matic would be a a safer option for a second car than a rwd 😅 sounds amazing and great looks. Also you just can’t beat a Mercedes interior
Just make sure you have thought about the costs. I’m nearly the same age as you and I’ve just sold my facelift 2019 C43 AMG because it was costing me £1000-1200 a month on everything. Now I’ve got a 69 plate E class coupe which gets 50+ MPG and looks better. Do miss the sound and performance tho
I only made the switch to rear drive when i hit 28 haha. If you are in a position to afford one, i would definitely recommend as it's a spectacular car, but yes make sure you account for all costs as Adam says (insurance etc). Please subscribe if you haven't already :-)
@@Adamkershaw1 what other costs did you run into whilst owning the c43? I’ve considered insurance already. Just mainly thinking about maintenance costs etc
@@autoseven7ltd Of course (: Also I just got the Michelin Alpine PA4s on my C63S, so far it's been great this winter, no wheel spinning suprisingly. But I do wait till everything in the car is at ideal temp before pushing it, and don't go full throttle from a stop. When you guys get the C63 try it with Alpine 5 or new Pirelli P zeros, it's a fun car. The C43 will probably do a faster 0 to 60 on winter tires on winter conditions, much safer for dailying on any conditions, and seems like a great fun car too.
Always best to let everything warm up yeah. The C63s stability control is pretty impressive too. I’ve been in one on a skid pan and it won’t spin out with everything turned on.. With it all off, it’s a different story 😂
I’ve driven both…the c43 is a good car for someone coming out of a golf gti! It’s actually very boring sounds crap and has too many gears! I’d rather drive/own the original c43 from 2000 now that’s an amazing car. Crap exhaust sounds doesn’t mean a car sounds good.
Sounds pretty good to me! My GF is in agreement with you haha. I'd love to live in a world where a nearly 30 year AMG could be a daily (i agree it's an amazing car), but i've owned a R129 SL and i just couldn't rely on it every day. It didn't always start and the gearbox just didn't work with me enough. When a Kia can beat you from the lights, it's not ideal... The V6 C43 is more a rival to an S5 for 340i / 440i and i think it's the pick of the three. Would be a great car for someone coming out of a golf GTi for sure!

Good point! I own an E-Class wagon at the moment as it just seems to be able to do everything i need it to, except for the nice sound haha
@@autoseven7ltd exactly its definitely not a fast car HOWEVER its not a slow car either. Great for everyday use

What do you think of the GLC C43
I haven't driven one, but i know the engine is great. I'd say it would be an exceptional family car for those who like the higher riding position.
Great review mate, but I don't think you'll take care of any C63 with a winter tire.
Thanks mate! Next time we get a C63 in we will find out ☺️ The V8 car is actually very stable. Just depends what you do with your right foot I guess

Finally someone who’s on the same page as me. The c43 is really dull. I’ve been saying it for ages now
