I don't want to even guess at the price. Norwegian salaries are good by any standard, so even if the gunsmith is willing to "eat" all the RnD hours that went into his personal copy, and build subsequent copies for just material and labour cost, something as nice as this is going to be.... ugh....

They used to cast bronze cannon blanks for us. I had a gun founders licence, at the time. We were making period accurate early bronze, bottle breech guns copied from a 1450 one in Italy. Great video! I built a mini mauser .45acp out of a totally ruined Swedish small ring mauser carbine. I too had to engineer a spring loaded ejector and I shortened the bolt travel to better fit the short stubby .45 acp cartridge. The barrel is threaded but not yet suppressed. I used a Rhineland magwell adapter and 1911 mags cut down to 5 rounds. I like your magwell much better.

What a beautifully crafted gun! He really did a great job with all the details and finishing touches there. I want one cause I know it would make me giggle with happiness too.

That's a magnificent piece. I'd love to see more of these artisnal projects on the channel to supplement the content we're typically getting. The craftsman gunsmith's art is always worth sharing. You can always tell when Ian is excited to shoot something, and I can definitely see the appeal in this little rig.

I am currently working on a plastic bullet concept for my .45acp mini mauser carbine. The idea is for safe backyard shooting on a very short range.

That would actually be nice gun for indoor shooting ranges. It can go where only pistol callibers are allowed and it is so quiet that it does not bother others.

So Cool. I have seen kits for a Cetme 7.62, straight blowback, and same company had kit for Mauser's. No muffler on those.

Maybe it's my ears or the speakers I use, but it seems like cycling the action is more audible than firing the gun. That's impressive.

    Nice piece of gunsmithing .
For the ejection issues with shorts cases one efficent solution to avoid stove pipe type malfunction is the two extractors solution, like for .22 with the normal sharped hook extractor at the opposite side of the ejector and the second rounded extractor at the opposite side just above the ejector, this will held more steadily the case in place for reliable ejection. But unfortunately this is not always possible...
