  • This is my honest and true form on the golf course as a 7 handicap. It is far from pretty but focusing on my short game helps me maintain a low handicap.

    Hey guys, I think you blokes are my favourite to watch cause I feel you are the closest to where my game is at so i get constant laughs when you fuck up, cause it feels like me. Keep up the awesome work. Really enjoying it

    Had some really great shots! One thing that helps me if I'm not warmed up in the first few holes (topping it, hitting it thin, etc) is to bend my knees a lot more. I agree with the other on transferring weight to the front foot. It helps me get under the ball and is now what I do if I have to play my tee time cold. Eventually, after 4-5th hole I play normal. Just a suggestion, keep it up! I am also around a 7-8 handicap and want to get below 5 (have to work on my swing again)..

    Great video and love the channel. I just subbed. Nice to see content that reflects my own game 🤣 Some rounds are good ones... some rounds go like this one. But you guys keep it light and are obviously having fun out there - which for me is the whole point of playing this game. I never get too frustrated anymore when a round goes bad kinda like you guys do in these videos. Keep it up man! I'm going back and watching your other vids and hopefully you keep putting out more.

      Hey thanks so much for the nice comment!! We appreciate the support! Absolutely this game is meant to be enjoyable and we can’t let our score be the only determining factor on if we are having fun out there or not! Another video just came out! Cheers👍🏻

    Great video really enjoyed watching a fellow 7 handicapper :) You need to work on transferring your weight onto the front foot during the downswing, thats why your thinning everything, poor weight transfer. Plenty of scope for going even lower :)

      Thanks Greg!! I appreciate the insight! It's funny because I would consider myself fairly knowledgeable about the golf swing but i always struggle to dissect my own swing. Other than the obvious that i am quick in transition and can get too flat at the top. Cheers man!

      Hey John I’m a member at Jumeirah gold estates in Dubai actually. Furthest thing from a pitch and putt and that’s the course I lowered my handicap on. Cheers🍻

      @@AgainstThe-Grain I don't understand. Are you trying to say because something is in Dubai or expensive, that makes it good? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
      Get some lessons and play on a real golf course next time...

    • @johnklaus9111
      @johnklaus9111 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AgainstThe-Grain Look kid. The point is that handicap isn't really that legit and you "lowered" your handicap by playing a course that shouldn't have one... And shouldn't be included in the handicap system. It's really hard to understand, so I'll just point to golf course rating variance being significantly lower than on course score variance and leave it at that.

    I'm sorry, I can't respect a course with a 250 yard par 4. 9 iron then 9 iron... it's a par 3... with a forced layup off the tee.... 😅

      @@AgainstThe-Grain I think other's commented that you have a swing only a mother could love should clue you in a bit.
      I don't think you understand the criticism I've leveled, but better luck next time.
      I imagine no good players play that course ever, so you've probably not seen the way they would play it.
      No layup unless forced. Players don't stay at courses where they hit a 9 iron off the tee because there is a tree blocking...
      If you want to know the shortest hole everyone bogeys, there is a 100 yard par 3 with a tree blocking the green from above.
      It's only 100 yards, yet the average score amongst pros is over par.
      Is the hole hard? No... Same 4 shots every time.
      The man who "solved" the problem just hit putter under the tree.... So the course designer put a bunker with a lip in front of the green and that settled that golfer's hash.

    • @AgainstThe-Grain
      @AgainstThe-Grain  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Nobody asked for you to write a novel. What exactly are you mad about? That a golf course that we played has a hole you don’t like?
      You have far too much time on your hands to get this angry over a golf course. We are not the course designers. Your comment screams dementia so I hope you get the help you need.
