- The official count for official visitors this weekend is set at 19. But we also know that recruiting is fluid, and that number could change. I have an update in the show's first segment on why there are 19 visitors now and not the 21 that was originally scheduled.
The show's 2nd segment has some questions about the offensive line room that need answers this summer. I have those answers.

If being realistic, 1,000 yard rusher would be WAY better for SC! It'd be nice to see a little balance instead forcing 14 consecutive pass plays when the run game is effective.

Hmm I had thought about keeping teams balanced. Why not have a minimum two year non transfer rule when signing with a team? This way coaches can keep teams from constant roster turnover while they are paid to play, while also balancing out conference and playoff play.

Thank you for answering my question. I agree with the reply. Therefore, why do we recruit top TE’s if we don’t utilize them to their full capabilities. Duce made the switch which is the right decision for him as of today. I just feel we can utilize them better especially inside the 20.

#1, we need the starting 5 for at least 67% of the sched and next man up to be seamless. #2 There's depth and then there's battle tested depth and we don't have much. #3 we have enough size to leverage our skill players but it's a young group and Henson will really earn his keep. The trenches are huge going into the B1G, and they have big boys in that conference.

Times they are a changing . 19 is a great number if you believe in the theory high activity will get you the 3-4 players you want. What is SC's closing ratio likely around 25%.
You'd get nervous if activity were low. Look at activity .
@29:03 Nice Jello Biafra reference! lol. Marc, what is your opinion on bench riders who never play. Some seem to stick around 3 yrs max then disappear. I dont think I can remember any non playing bench rider (zero stat guys) with 4+ yrs on the team. ( since i played QB, i focus on them) example, this will be Jake Jensen's 3rd yr and with Maiava and Moss ahead of him and JuJu coming next year, do the coachs kindly pull them aside and let them know the light at the end of the tunnel is a match stick? 2nd question leads from the 1st. Is there a maximum a D1 school can roster? maybe 100 or? and perhaps the coach's are making room for younger talent coming in by moving them (zero stat guys) out?
Why is it LR does not like recruiting players in SoCal? I guess because he lost 6 of 7 California players in 2024 as they decommited. That was LR fault for not securing those players. Now he is going outside California as 10 of 12 players that have verbally committed so far are not from California. I want to see local kids in SoCal in the game program LR.
Our soft and lack of quality at oline will be our downfall. It’s probably not even a top 10 line in the Big 10 and our best Monheim won’t be a 1st rounder, he’s projected to be a 3rd and probably a late one at that.
If even one starter goes down, we could be a 5 loss team or worse 🫣 Hopefully the D can become a top 40 defense and we squeak some close ones out, this is just the wrong year to join a new conference 🙂↕️ we don’t excel at any position
Marc is SC working on how they are going divide up the 20 million pretty sure only a couple of sports actually make any money. It probably could help to keep players and re recruit players.
There are still some scholarships available at this point (3-4?), do you believe there is a plan for these or did they not get filled with some of the transfer portal craziness in the Spring?
