I like the way you are writing the materials used on the screen so that people who might not understand it verbally can screen shot the names to look them up.
Hi Tony, I'm from Mexico and I bought the Anest IWATA supernova HD 1.3 for base and clear in a kit with very good briefcase in SprygunsDirect, I decided for these guns for your videos and I love the way you use the equipment and apply the material, you are A professional and thank you for sharing your experience and secrets, please have a video of the cleaning and maintenance of the Anest Iwata supernova, to have the equipment ready and in optimum conditions, thanks for your attention and best regards from mexico city.
Tony, may I ask what clear is the best bang for your buck. I do panel painting not the whole thing. Also I air dry over night. I appreciate your advice if you like to give it. Thank you. P.S. I use Quartz now
hola!de Argentina! muy bueno tu trabajo! pregunta? porque habre usted 4 vueltas. el caudal de pintura mas que en la primera mano, de clear! y la distancia corta se plancha mas el clear! saludos!
Another great job Tony, I'm thinking of trying a different laquer as I use Maxmeyer too and I find sometimes air dry overnight it isn't as hard as it could be. However during the colder months I've had good results heating the laquer and hardner in an old tea urn ! Looking forward to the next vid.
this ones really good mate i have to say used it again today leaves a real nice flat finish when applied abit wetter and really has no drop of gloss or anything overnight even when air drying , heating the clear isnt something ive tried yet but im sure come winter i will lol
@@TonysRefinishingTV sprays and buffs really nice. Liked it. OMG polishes to mirror shine. when you spray it continues to flow to a smooth orange peel. 6030, Now the only downside I did see is for some reason it did not like to work into my blend. The old clear sanded and prepped wanted to make a weird fisheye. The next time I used it I used an intercoat clear. (clear basecoat) underneath 1 coat. then put down my base. This eliminated the blend scratches and got a perfect smooth finish. OMG it was amazing. super shiny. almost no need to cut and polish.
another awesome video. so helpful .Quick question. what question what do you mean by closed coat? is this just the same as wet coat but applied a bit faster?
good vid mate ,i use a w400 lv2 1.4 been looking on line at other iwattas an theres a lot of em what is the difference between w400 and the bellaria w400(theres a big price difference) and also the lph lvx which ive seen cheers
hi sorry i only recorded this section of footage in the video bar a tiny bit of editing as the purpose was for the clear , however in future bar the footage ive already shot il be doning more repair videos primer and blocking aswell as the paint side too , and your welcome thanks for watching
i found the 0200 a tad iffy for solvent pop if you wernt careful not been the biggest fan of either i think theres better clears out therre for the money
Yea i do alot off commercial painting tho Would rather do accident and repair or something along your kind of work keep the vids up you and the gunman are by far the best to learn from
+Chuck Norris thanks mate means a lot that I try my best to add as much in as I can and now things are more settled il be focusing more and more on that too , thanks for watching

Hi Tony, does this clear make defects such as drop of gloss or something else when it dry at room temperature?
Tony have you ever used the Kapci 5860? it is cheap here I wondered how it works.
also that 6030 is fairly inexpensive too. did it buff really easy and get really hard? I know this video is pretty old.
Yeah it buffs nice mate I’m using the new version atm and will do a video on it soon

Could this WS400 EVO leave a flatter finish off the gun with the high solids clearcoat than the deVilbiss GTI ProLite with110 air-cap?
That depends on the user each gun is just as good as the other for finish both can put down a glass like finish both can recreate factory peel
Hi tony was this kapci basecoat also
no the base was mobihel
nice job mate keep up the great work
+cornishcat11 thanks and there will be plenty more to come
Can this be used in an airbrush?
I’m not sure
Did you not find it a bit on the yellow side !!! Love kapci products but the clears are really yellow
Honestly I don’t think the 6030 is too bad for that tbh it’s a dam good clear for the money too
Is this gun the same as the WS400 EVO?
yes buddy
hello do you us a diluent for clear thanks
+clark kent hi yes I usually add 5-10% fast thinners / reducer to help it flow depending on the weather
Great video I hope you keep making videos sir.
Thanks Gregory

Max mayer 0200 i find alot better than 0300 easyer to use and nicer results
i found the 0200 a tad iffy for solvent pop if you wernt careful not been the biggest fan of either i think theres better clears out therre for the money
Yea i agree i used ppg for the 1st time the other week and have to say i preferred it than Max mayer
+Chuck Norris can't say I've tried that tbh I'm trying to track down some of the high end clears to try atm as cash flow allows
